The man with the dragon tattoo

Junghwa didn't need much time or effort to find what she had to. She put the key in the small key hole that was planted on the wooden floor. She breathed before twisting the key and a click was heard. She opened the small floor door very easily.

She looked down and saw some stairs that were going down in the darkness.

She walked to the door and saw a maid. "Bring a flashlight to me immediately."

She closed the door and returned to the floor hole.

"Hello???!" She said and her voice echoed.

She realized that probably she made the maid question her weird request. She knew she had some eye drops because sometimes her eyelids get dry and used it to make her seem like she's crying. The maid knocked at the door and she went to take the flashlight. "The lights went off in the bathroom."

"Just let me come and change the-"

"I want to be alone!!!! My husband just died!!" She dramatically said and started sobbing loud. She closed the door and continued faking her cry until she thought it was enough.

She turned on the flashlight and looked down. The stairs were going far as she thought. She started climbing down them. The walls were clean and the stairs were not dusty. For some reasons she was not afraid of walking in such a place. The room for the stairs was getting bigger and bigger. She walked down for quite a while until she met the end of the stairs. In front of her, a big metal door was standing proudly.

She knocked at the door and immediately it opened.

She grinned when she saw Yifan standing tall and healthy in front of her. He let her in and closed the door.

She saw inside an elegant room, similar to the library.

"This place was created by my father's grandfather when the house was threatened. This is how my grandmother and dad survived ."

"Where is this?" She asks.

"We are right under the garden in the front of the house. Over the time my dad created tunnels that lead to many places. One also including the hospital."

She nods and looks around. She sees a table with many papers and folders on it. "Did you finish the plan?"

"Yes. If everything goes smoothly then we are going to escape unharmed and the 2 billion dollars will be my gift to you," he says and hugs her from behind.

"The only thing I need is to know you are doing fine, and I don't care for the money."

"Baby, you need an award for your acting." He laughs.


HOURS BEFORE

"I never realized how much I love you," she cries. The nurse was feeling uncomfortable assisting such a personal moment. However she continued her work. The doctor came in and called her out.

Once the nurse left and the door was closed, junghwa shook his hand. "She left."

He opened his eyes. "So now listen..." and he continued giving her instructions.

"You'll find me there."

"Yes. I understood everything.

"Now get ready," he says. "Nice acting. As dramatic as I wanted," he laughs.

"I watched too many dramas because I would never in my life say something so cheesy again. It was so awkward," she pouted.

He laid back in the hospital bed. He started moving the things that were monitoring his heart until he managed to make the machine beep.

"Doctor!!!!!!" She yells with a rather calm tone.

Yifan caught her hand and squeezed it. She nodded and started yelling with pain in her tone.

The doctor came in and the two exchanged looks before making the whole act more dramatic.

PRESENT

She turned around to face him. "But tell me. Isn't this going to affect your mother?"

Notes

I finally updated after 6 months I believe. Finally I have my inspiration back.

Btw has anyone seen W? That's the best drama in the entire world! What do you think about it.
