THE NEXT DAY

"Sweetie, today we are going to go and have brunch with the Wu's today. So don't forget to wash up." My mom told me as I walked up towards the room. I picked up the phone that was on my nightstand and turned it on. The lock screen revealed a picture of Baekhyun kissing my cheek while I smiled. Confusion filled my eyes since it was the first time I used the phone since my accident and second of all because Baekhyun was my cousin and he was kissing my cheek.

"Hey mom," I stated coming down the stairs as my mom and father were drinking coffee and discussing today's news. "You said Baekhyun was my cousin right?" I asked to get confirmation.

"Yes sweetie why?" my mother asked curiously.

"Why? Did he do something bad to you?" my father asked being protective.

"What? No! Because I was just curious because you said he was my cousin and in my lock screen it shows picture of Baekhyun kissing my cheek and we looked...happy." I said.

"Oh sweetie, don't think too much about that." she said grabbing my phone and throwing it in the trash can. "Remember I told you he's a little bit crazy and besides we need to get you a new phone." she finished.

"Ah yes, that reminds me." my father said standing up and leaving the kitchen before coming back with a box in his hands. "Here you go. Your new phone." he said handing me the box to reveal a new phone.

"Oh so sudden but thank you anyways." I said hugging them.

"Honey, hurry and get ready in 10, we're ready to leave and meet up with the Wu's." my dad said, as I nodded and ran up the stairs to get ready. I dressed into causal sunny dress with a pair of white sandals.

"Hello Taeyeon nice to see you." Both Bao and Chang greeted. I greeted them back and headed to our table.

"Hey," Kris stated.

"Oh hey," I smiled.

"Listen, I just want to say sorry for the whole arrange marriage thing. I know its kinds hard for you since you lost your memories and recently got out of a three year relationship." he stated apologizing which I forgave but was confused when he mention I was or were in a relationship.

"Wait? Relationship?" I asked confused.

"Yeah you were in a relationship with uhm never mind forget what I sai- " he was cut off by mother who came running and interrupted us.

"So we have a change of plan. Why don't you two go and hang out together while we adults chit-chat." she explained, and hurried as to leave to spend time together. As we walked side-by-side towards the park we spotted an Ice Cream shop and decided to buy some.

"Hello, what can I get you two love birds?" the cashier lady said as she winked at us.

"Love birds?" I questioned.

"Uh yes, can I have a plain vanilla cone while Taeyeon will have a?" he asked turning my direction.

"A cookies n' cream cone." I finished.

"Alright that'll be 10 dollars." she said as Kris handed her the money.

"Hey, Dara we ran out of m&m's in the ba-" a tall man who I slightly recognized stopped mid-way as he saw me.

"Taeyeon?" he questioned.

" Yah! Chanyeol stop starring. We'll just get more tomorrow but until then just put a sign for me please." The cashier who is now Dara said while scolding the man named Chanyeol who apparently knew my name.

"How do you know my name?" I asked.

"Don't you remember me? I'm Baekhyun's best friend, how do you not recognize me?" he asked.

" Oh so that's Taeyeon." Dara said with amusement. "But why aren't you with Baekhyun I thought you two were da-"

"Uhm, are our Ice Creams ready?" Kris asked cutting her off.

"Oh yeah, here you go sorry about that." she said handing us our treats. We quickly said good-bye and left with our treats.

"So how do you feel about this whole arrange marriage concept?" I asked Kris.

"I don't know honestly. Maybe betrayed a little bit since my parents are forcing me to do this, but then again happy because at least it's with you." he said smiling a me.

"Oh," was all I could say, since I really wasn't feeling happy about it at all. I mean I'm just barely starting to get my memories back and they expect me to get married already.

"Yeah, what about you?" he asked turning the question towards me.

"Me? I feel a mixture of things, so I really can't put it in one word." I replied. "Should we start heading back?" I asked.

"Nah, how about we go shopping?" Kris suggested which surprised me.

"Are you sure? Won't they be worried?" I asked nervously for no reason.

"Yeah, they are the ones who suggested we know each other. What's better than shopping together and spending a little bond time moment." he question which confused me to answer his question or not.

"Taeyeon!" my best friend greeted as soon as I step foot on the store, running towards me.

"Tiffany!" I scream back in joy to finally see her again.

"Omg, I miss you so much ." she said as she hugged me.

"I miss you too." I replied back as I hugged her back.

"Well Kris this is Tiffany." I introduced her to him as I released Tiffany's hug. "And Tiff this is Kris, my soon- to- be- husband." I say as she starred at me wide-eyed.

"Husband? Well congratulations!" she said as happy as possible. "But what about Baekhyun? I'm pretty sure he'll be devastated when he hears the news." she said with a sad face on this time.

Baekhyun? Why does everyone keep bringing him up today!?

"Uhm, will it was nice to meet you but we have to get going." Kris said as he pushed me farther and farther away from her and more closer to stores.

And why does Kris always interrupt it?
