"Eomma?"

"Oh! Lay, what are you doing home? I thought you were living with the boys?"

"I need some time away from them."

"Did something happen?"

"Well, we didn't have a fight. It's just something personal."

"Oh. Well your home just in time! Your sister and I were going to your appa's grave. Would you like to join us?"

He never forgave his appa. Even if Lay said it was his fault, he knew his appa was driving that car. Lay has witnessed the whole thing. He still wonders why his eomma still loves his appa. But that was years ago.

"Why would I see him.."

"I know things happened in the past, just forget about them."

"Wheres noona?"

"Upstairs.."

He placed his bag on the floor and ran to his sister's room. His sister knows all about his past. As well as his nightmares. Also, Mi Mi. After what happened today he felt as if it was his fault, and his past is coming back to him.

"Jiejie?"

"Lay! How are you? Are you here because you have been having problems?"

He trusted his sister with anything, even though shes a drunken mess, she seems to fix problems easily.

"I thought everything was going to go away. But, they came back, as well as her.."

Throughout the day Mi Mi wondered why Lay was depressed.

'Is he sad because of me?'

She thought.

"Mi Mi, where were you this morning?"

Hani asked.

The two girls were at a cafe. The haven't hanged out with each other for awhile so they decided to go to a cafe after school. This felt like their typical days as a middle schooler, which was a few years back. Now they are freshmen at a High School, which is supposedly supposed to be a "university."

"I was practicing.."

"Was anyone there with you?"

"No, I was just by myself. Why?"

"I'm just asking. I'll watch you practice tomorrow."

When she heard the word practice again, she remembered what happened today. It felt kinda strange to her because no one has triggered this "memory" of hers to come back, except her step-mother.

'How was Lay able to trigger my "memory."'

Mi Mi thought.

'Could he be somehow part of it?'

"Mi Mi! What are you thinking of? Are you thinking of Lay?"

"Oh, sorry unni. And no. I don't like him."

Hani became suspicious of her. But it seemed like she wasn't lying.

"Do you like someone perhaps?"

"Why are you asking this question suddenly?"

She blushed.

"Just because. I'm your cousin, so don't worry."

There was someone Mi Mi liked. But, it wasn't Lay. Even though she "knows" Lay, there is another guy in her life.

"I.. I do. I like someone."
