Academy Of Love

When the next day arrived Mi MI had to join meetings in Beijing. Those meetings have been too much. She just wants to live a normal life as a normal teenager girl. All the thoughts she has about being one seemed fun and excited. Many think being rich and known, is awesome and the best. The more they live that life, the more boring and dull it gets as time goes by.

"Flight to Beijing will be boarding..."

An announcer said.
She looked at the time.

4:00 am

She picked up her luggage and walked towards the gate for the flight. Mi Mi hasn't been on a plane for awhile, so this felt like a new experience for her all over again.

"More restless nights.."

She whispered to herself. She then looked at her caretaker in the family.

He always took care of her most of the times. Mi Mi thought it was pretty great to have him as her same age. He acted like her best friend most of the times. But, the two rarely talked to each other.

"Mi Mi, you should get some re.." He then yawned and continued, "I was going to say, some rest. Just don't worry about anything.." He then yawned again as they were finding their seats.

That boy was always sleepy. So Mi Mi always felt cautious and sad whenever shes around him.

"You know I won't be getting any rest during this whole thing, or should I say whatever my appa always says, "vacation."" She responded, then continued. "You should be getting the rest. I can't handle seeing your sleepy face." Then they reached the end and sat down on their first class seats.

Mi Mi looked at her caretaker then looked at the window. All the thoughts she had yesterday, seemed to haunt her again. Now, questions were filling up her mind.

Does Hani think I like.... Lay?

Is she jealous.

Why did I say I liked someone

Mi Mi felt like a pabo and repeated that over and over in her head. Then she looked over at the boy sitting next to her. He yawned and looked at her.

"Well, you are one true pabo.."

Then he closed his eyes.

Whenever she thinks of something next to him, he feels weird. It was like he was reading her mind.

Lay sat down on one of the benches as usual. It felt different today. He opened up his phone and checked his calendar.

"She has another schedule.."

He said.

Then Lay stood up and walked towards the exit. As he walked, he heard distant footsteps and laughter inside. He looked back at the gym, but no one was there. Suddenly, a light appeared in his face.

~Flashback~

"So, this was my old high school." A woman said, then she continued. "Pretty weird, right Minnie?" Then the woman looked at a little girl holding her hand.

"Mom, what did you do in this gym before?"

The little girl asked.

"Well," The woman then cleared her throat. "It's pretty hard to get into this school. You have to show your talent. Which I did. And, this is the gym, where I sang my heart out and play tennis."

Suddenly, more footsteps were heard.

"So, Lay. Look over there." A man said, and pointed over at a bench. "That is where I had my first kiss here."

Then Lay looked over at his dad and looked over at two people.

"I-Is that you?" The man said. When he turned around and saw the woman standing there.

They walked up to each other and greeted.

Small footsteps were heard.

"Eomma.."

The woman turned around and looked at the boy.

"I can't find the bathroom!!"

"My oh my." Then she looked at the man. "Long time no see. I'll be back."

"Is that your son?" The man asked.

She nodded in reply. "His name is C..." Then her voice faded away.

~Flashback end~
