Bridal Blues

Momo-Chan's POV

“Get out! I’m not sleeping with you!” I yelled blushing… it was the first time someone of the opposite gender was so close to me… I blushed… I chased him out of the room and slide the door closed. I plop back into the bed… what’s going on with me… so many things are happening way too fast… I slowly feel asleep…

The next morning I woke up… I looked and around me was a piano, music sheets, shelves of books, closet and a couple of photos… I looked at the photo on the desk… it was him… Nam Taehyun… and a older guy who looks like him… brother? Maybe that’s his older cousin? This must his room though… it was pretty clean for a guy’s room… and didn’t smell weird…

I slide the door open but it won’t budge. Why does it feel heavy? With all my strength I tugged and it opened… a little *thud* what was that sound? They’re not trying to trap me are they? I peeked in and it was Taehyun lying against the door… he must have been sleeping here since I stole his room and kicked him out… I felt slightly bad …

“*Yawn* you’re up?” he said rubbing his eyes, “Follow me…”

I slowly began to accept my reality, I would never be able to go home again… I was quiet, Taehyun didn’t say a word either… I wonder how he felt when he was told to marry a stranger?

I followed him and he lead me to an older man, “Welcome Momoka, I heard about how they got you here, I’m extremely sorry. My name is Nam Ho Sung, I’m Taehyun’s Uncle… we’re very pleased to have you here…”

Taehyun scoffed upset at his uncle, got up and left. I listen as his uncle explains to me in Japanese…” Taehyun is next in line to be our Clan leader… please be strong and bear him a healthy child…” I was astonished about how blunt he was… “This is my son, Nam Jaesung, he’ll help you learn Korean in no time.” Tae Hyun’s uncle said… the sliding door next to his uncle opened and Jaesung stepped out. He was taller than Tae Hyun, and was just as handsome and had a kind smile. He bowed greeting me… I blushed and bowed back.

He and I sat down and he slowly taught me some lesson. He was really kind and taught me slowly… he stepped out for a moment and I gazed off out the window of the lesson room. Oh! Something caught my eyes… it was Taehyun… I looked on…

“Taehyun Hyung!! Let’s play!!” A little boy yelled pulling his hand

“Yeah!!!” another one said holding the other

He looked annoyed and was surrounded by lots of kids. “You all are so annoying.” He complaint and grab one… is he going to hit them?! I got up to say something but he was swinging them with his long arms and they all were laughing…

“Me too!! Me to!! Me next!!” they all yelled laughing

I was surprised, he complained but did everything the kids wanted… I giggle looking out…

After my Korea lesson was over… I walked out and looked outside it slowly began to rain… I reached my hand out and let the rain fall into my palm. *SIGH*

“You miss home… don’t you?”

I turned surprised, it was Taehyun… I nodded…

“Here…” he grabbed my hand and handed me something and ran off into the rain.

I looked down in my hand it was a Japanese rice ball… I smiled… I miss these…

Night soon fell again and I went back to Taehyun bed room… I laid down… *Thump* I turned and got up… what was that? It was right outside the door… I slide the door open… It was Taehyun…

“You’re sleeping out here tonight?” I asked

“Obviously, because I can’t sleep in there with you.” He said turning away

“You’re still wet did you just get out of the rain?” I asked

“I’m fine… once you leave tomorrow I’ll get a change of clothes.” Taehyun replied

I felt… bad… maybe he wasn’t such a bad person… I thought about how he was with the kids and the rice ball he gave me…

“Come here…” I said and pulled his hand leading him into his room

I grabbed a towel and began to dry his hair… I notice his ears turn red…

“Change your clothes, I’m going to step out and get extra blankets to lay out for you.” I said began to leave

“What made you change your mind?” He asked curiously

“Umm... I didn’t want you to catch a cold…” I replied

“That’s not really necessary, I’m a man… we don’t get sick often…” Taehyun blushed

“Still…” I said

“Wel… if you pulled my arm in here, I’ll sleep here with you.” He grinned and reaches out and hugged me

“Hey!!” I yelled blushing as he holds me tightly

“Stop!” I exclaimed

“Didn’t you want this?” He questioned

“I didn’t!” I protested

“You said you wanted to sleep with me.” He said upset

“I didn’t say that at all!” I exclaimed

“That’s why I’m getting bedding, you sleep here, and I sleep here. Got it!” I blushed

“Is all that really needed, I mean we are getting married.” He said serious

“You come closer and I scream.” I said with my back against the door.

“Why your mine anyways, why can’t I touch you?” he smirked

“I never agree!” I yelled

“Whatever, I’m going to bed…” He yelled and grabbed the bedding on the bed and quickly laid it down on the floor and dozed off…

Was letting him in here a bad idea? I laid down, but I couldn’t sleep… I kept thinking about Taehyun, who was just feets away…

“You awake?” I asked

“Yea…” he replied

“Nothing… are you cold?” I asked

“No… not really…” he answered

It was quiet and the room was filled with awkward silence…

“It’s nice to sleep laying down…” he said quietly trying to break the silence

“Yea…” I replied softly

“It is MY BEDROOM… after all… and I was kicked out of my own room…” Taehyun said

“Sorry… about that… it was a lot going on…” I answered

“That’s okay… it was a lot being kidnapped and then told you’re going to marry someone…” Taehyun said

“Just be careful around the Nam family… things are not always… what they seem… like with Jaesung Hyung…” Taehyun warned me

“Why… aren’t you two like brothers?” I asked

“…” Taehyun didn’t answer me… “Do you miss Japan…? Your family?” Taehyun asked

“I miss Japan… but to be honest… I really didn’t have a life there, I wasn’t close to my family… every day I stayed indoor… study… try to get into college… I didn’t make friends because all I thought about was trying to get into college… but now that I’m here… I’m kind of sad… I feel like I didn’t really live… But being here with y-you, your friends, and your family… I want to put in an effort and try to live…” I said honestly

I blush… I can’t believe I told him the extreme truth… I felt so shy but… I was slightly happy that I could tell someone like… Taehyun what I was feeling…

“I must be talking too much… but … Taehyun about earlier… you and your cousin… what do you mean?” I asked again

I lean over and looked… what…? Was he asleep now? I wonder if he heard me them… all well…

“Good night… Taehyun Oppa…” I said in the broken Korean I learn… and fell fast asleep… it was nice… sleeping with Taehyun in the room… it made me feel safe like I was where I was supposed to be…
