The Difference between Salt and Sugar

Kris' POV



Finally... another free day... this doesn't make anything any better since this week we have our PD reviewing our progress that mean that if we don't do well our team might be dropped we have to be extra careful... ughhh.... I get up... I glance... Tao was still sleeping and Xiumin was gone like normal ever free day... I got up when I looked down... half away half asleep I walk trying to get out but I foot loops on something as I feel, Tao glances up at me. I laugh embarrassed as he ignores me and goes back to sleep.



Crap... I tripped over Xiumin's bag... she's gonna kill me.... I scramble to put away her stuff when i noticed a old school id. I grabbed it and wow... she really is a girl... Min...Joo... i read. Xiumin's real name... or at least her real name... she had large eyes with long black hair... she was my type... wait... birthday March 26th! THAT'S TODAY!! I got up... as I rush into the bathroom I bump into Lay.



"Ah... Lay... where Xiumin?" I ask frantic



"I don't know he just left awhile ago." Lay replied rubbing his eye going back into his room.


I got ready quickly and ran out. I watched as Xiumin (minjoo) got on the bus and it began to leave. I hailed a cab and followed.



Where is she going on her birthday... I asked to myself...



We stopped in front of a hospital. I paid the driver and followed Xiumin who walked in. As I sneak in I watch her from far away as she enter a room. I peer in, so that's the real Xiumin... I notice as Minjoo sits down next to him and takes his hand.



"Happy birthday... Xiumin..." she says to him



That when I decided... as I looked at her sad face... I'm going to make today the best day of her life.
