Unbearble

Hopeless

She felt like vomiting. Her nerves were jumbled much like yarn that was hard to untangle. She needed to calm herself down but with all the people whisking by her, she couldn’t even think straight.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath and then exhaled. She was jostled out of her little breathing exercise as someone bumped into her shoulder.

“Shilleh-hamnida!” the woman who bumped into Ezra rudely exclaimed and gave her a dirty look.

“Uh . . . Je- Je-song-hamnida!” Ezra called back out but the woman did not bother to look back at her.

Ezra turned around, trying to look for the sign “Baggage Claim.” If only her bladder wasn’t protesting earlier she wouldn’t have left the guys. They had told her they would be at baggage claim but as soon as Ezra set foot outside the Lady’s Room, it her like a ton of bricks.

She was alone. Alone in a country where she could barely speak their language and understood little. Her communication with the boys so far wasn’t hard. They all understood her and they tried to speak whatever English they knew, albeit broken but they tried nonetheless.

And now she had to do her part; learn their language or she would get lost, not just getting lost in places but in conversations too. How was she expected to do her job as a stage manager?

She felt a headache coming on. She hadn’t thought of this, she was too caught up in Leo.

Fuck.

Ezra raked her hand through her hair.

A hand grabbed her arm, “Ezra.”

She gasped and turned around, “Oh my god, you scared me.”

N smiled apologetically, “Sorry.”

Ezra swallowed, “It’s okay.” She smiled weakly at him.

Her smile didn’t reach her eyes. He noticed the pallor in her face. N dropped his smile, “Are you okay?”

“Huh? Oh of course! Just got a little lost,” Ezra forced a laugh and looked away from him.

N slid his hand from her arm to her shoulder and with his other hand, he grabbed her chin and turned her head towards him. Her hazel eyes looked up at him. He sighed when he saw the look in her eyes.

“Come on,” he grabbed her carry-on and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, leading the way.

Damn it, Leo.
As soon as they were getting closer to the carousel, there were fans with cameras and cellphones taking pictures of them.

From his peripheral vision, he could see Ezra’s face turn to worry.

He gave her shoulder a squeeze, “Hey, it’s okay.”

She looked at him, “This is all new to me.”

I know.

He couldn’t see where the guys were until one of the roadies came to their aid and guided them outside the terminal.

The roadie beside them took, Ezra’s luggage. As they approached the van, Leo was leaning against the vehicle and his gaze traveled to the arm that was wrapped around Ezra.

His eyes narrowed.

“Naege geu moseub-eul jegong haji anhseubnida,” N said as he helped Ezra into the van, “Ulineun iyagi hal pil-yogaissda.”

What N said: "Don't give me that look." "We need to talk." Sorry if the Korean isn't correct.

So sorry guys! I was busy writing a story for creative writing and a script for my screenwriting class. I'll try updating frequently. Notes on today's chapter: Ezra not only has to deal with the relationship between Leo and his career but also the culture and language barrier. She realizes that being in Korea isn't going to be a walk in the park. As for the rude woman who bumped into Ezra, this was done on purpose. Not too long ago I had spoken to an older Korean woman about her culture and her people. She had told me that not everyone in Korea is nice as they put in dramas and that neighbors compete with each other (like every other being in the world). Of course I knew this, but I tend to forget sometimes (because of dramas) that not everyone has polite manners and sweet personalities.

A theme here in this story, is Ezra trying to find her place in a world that she knows nothing of. As for N, well, he's Leo's anchor and soon will be Ezra's at some point. He is analytical and aware of how others feel. And as for the other Vixx members, they will have their moments, just not now. Speaking of Vixx, I started the first chapter of the new story. I don't know exactly how long it will take me to get this story out. Maybe somewhere between June and July? I don't know, it depends on how much writing assignments I get from my professors, which determine the free time I have to write for it. And it also depends on how this fic going too. But it's coming along!

Yeah, I know. I would love to make the chapters longer. However, I've failed to mention in the summary that this fic is a drabble. Meaning that each chapter will be 100 words more or less. I decided to do drabble because it's easier and faster to update this way. But as of late I have not updated because life has gotten in the way and I tend to lose my inspiration sometimes. But don't worry, I'll be back soon with another chapter.

Yep. I was trying to wait it out and let the reader know what's up with him through later chapters but my readers from asianfanfics were wound up and were dying to know what the hell was going on so I had to tell them directly. Their relationship will bud further, it just might take some time.

it reminds me i once asked you wat Leo wants... so thats the reason.... he's a satyromaniac..... Still i love Ezra and Leo's chemistry
