Confined
Ezra’s blood went cold at her superior’s words. It rang in her head like a constant echo.
“You’re being reassigned.”
Ezra stumbled on her words, “Wh-what? Reassigned? Why? Did I do something wrong, Jeff?”
Her palms were cold and clammy and she was pretty sure she looked pale. Completely scared out of her wits.
Jeff stood across from her, his desk between them. He pursed his lips, “Relax Ezra, it’s not a bad thing. I really don’t want to let you go but I wasn’t really given a choice to refuse.”
Her breath hitched, “What do you mean?”
She didn’t understand what was going on. Reassigned? Let go? Couldn’t refuse? She was worried, really worried.
Does he know what happened between me and . . . and Leo?
“You’re my best employee. Someone who I can always rely on to do their job right,” Jeff sighed sadly, “Look, just take this as an opportunity to refine your work ethic skills while working abroad.”
What?
“I’m sorry, Jeff,” Ezra’s voice strained, “Abroad?”
He smiled but not with complete content, “Yes, Ezra. Abroad.”
And as if to seal her fate, Jeff then nodded over her shoulder and announced, “He will inform you of all the details pertaining to your job.”
Ezra blinked owlishly and turned her body. There, by the office door, stood Go Shin Woo. She didn’t even hear or feel his presence when he came in.
She swallowed a thick lump in her throat.
Go Shin Woo bowed, “Miss Waltz.”

Word Count: 250
This probably was a boring chapter for you guys. It just needed to be done and out the way. The next one will be slightly better! Hope you guys remembered who Go Shin Woo is, if not, you're gunna have to go back some chapters. This is like my fourth update in a row. Trying to keep it consistant. If there are any grammar or spelling mistakes, please let me know. I tend to write these chapters very very late in the night and my eyes get sleepy and heavy with the brightness of my laptop screen.

Yeah, I know. I would love to make the chapters longer. However, I've failed to mention in the summary that this fic is a drabble. Meaning that each chapter will be 100 words more or less. I decided to do drabble because it's easier and faster to update this way. But as of late I have not updated because life has gotten in the way and I tend to lose my inspiration sometimes. But don't worry, I'll be back soon with another chapter.
