Unbearble

Ezra bit her lip at Leo’s displeased face. Her mind scattered words to appease him, “It’s okay. I’ll be right here when you get back.”

Leo’s eyes flickered to Ezra and then back to N, giving him a slight nod. N let go of her elbow as Leo instantaneously pulled Ezra into him.

N gave him a defeated look, “Ppalli hae. Sunbae-nim dangsin-eul bogo sip-eo.” With that said, N turned to Ravi and tilted his head, motioning Ravi to follow him further to the back of the room.

Ezra’s eyes followed their figures; they were refreshing themselves for the concert. Aware of Leo’s proximity, she reluctantly returned her gaze to him. He was looking down at her. His blank expressionless face perturbed her to no end.

Leo brought her closer to him if possible, making her cheeks flush. Ezra brought her hands between them, trying to give herself some space but he wouldn’t allow it.

She could feel him. She could feel him against her pelvis. It brought a crashing heat in her stomach that swirled, threatening to travel down to her core. Her heart rate picked up and her breathing fastened.

He lowered his face to her left ear. His hot breath washed over her sensitive skin as he spoke. His nose brushed the shell of ear momentarily.

His voice was soft and low only for her to hear but there was a strict command laced in his gentle tone, “Don’t go anywhere.”

Whatever warmth his body provided her was gone as he leaned away and let go of her, turning to the door and leaving. She stood there, trying to process Leo and his complexity. She was snapped out of her thoughts when her radio buzzed, her crew calling out for her help.

Ezra cleared her throat as she turned to bid her goodbye, “Excuse me, I have to–”

She gasped at the sudden pull on her arm. It wasn’t forceful but there was urgency to it. Ravi guided her to sit down on a chair.

Her nerves fizzled once again. What were they doing?

N but down the water bottle in his hand and stalked towards her. She couldn’t read his face. His character was different from when she had first met him. He was very charismatic and vocal but now . . . he seemed very serious.

Ravi was beside her when N placed himself in her view. He bent his upper body, placing his left hand on the chair’s arm. His face was close to hers. Too close that she turned her gaze elsewhere.

Smooth fingers wrapped around her chin, bringing her focus back to N. He smiled when he saw slight fear in her eyes. It was not his intention to scare her, merely just wanting to show his concern for his friend and her.

N’s action surprised her when his thumb on her chin touched her bottom lip and slowly parted her lips, dragging his thumb to settle back into its place. The atmosphere in the room changed from grim to jovial.

N let out an airy laugh, “He’s got quiet an appetite doesn’t he, Ravi?”

This came out a bit longer than excepted. I considered in making it shorter but decided against it. Let me know what you think.

macoco10: The bottom half what you read are possible outcomes of how I wanted the chapter to go. I have many scenarios in mind but only one gets chosen, so I decided to give you guys something extra (possible ways the chapter could've end). But onto your question, no, Leo has no power. What Ravi really meant was that they were going to physically hurt her if they didn't stop tugging her left and right.
