Chapter 8
3rd POVToday was the day the 3 girls worked on their new song that will become the next big hit. But first they must compose a new song.
Eve POV
"Ugh, i cant think of anything!!" I wined
"How about we write one about dreams" MiU suggested
"Sure, we can write about how we got here and reached our dream" said Nori
"Yeah lets go with that" I said
We wrote out the lyrics and all the parts. So who sings what. Then we created the rhythm or melody. Since it needs to be pop, we made this quick, a tempo of 132. The rapping would be a bit hard, but i think Nori and I can pull it off. After half a days hard work, we were finally done with the song, but first, we must show it to the vocal coach to let him approve and then improve the way we sing. Bless our luck, it was the same person that praised us during the last round along with the dance coach, Yoo Neon. They were our personal coaches and will help throughout our career. B2357z had another coach if you were wondering. The vocal coach finally told us his nickname, not real name. He told us to call him Alec. Well its a easy name to remember so we went with it.
When we sang our song to him, he stayed quiet till the very end.
"Magnificent! How can you beginners compose such a song at this level!" He said with a surprised voice
"Well Nori and MiU learned songwriting and music before coming here.." I blurted
"No wonder why, well this makes my job easier. Now lets begin with the scales and then sing the song with background music" he said
While we were practicing the song, Alec composed the background music for us. Is sounded epic and matched our song. We sang the whole thing and the result was amazing! Then, we moved onto the dancing. Yoo Neon was waiting for us.
"I have heard great things about from Alec, he says you already have the music down. Quite impressive, it usually takes a few days and sometimes weeks to compose a piece of music." Yoo Neon said
"Well, we have a lot of imagination and it just came to us" MiU said
"Ok, well Im going to listen to it then make the dance moves ok?"
"Yes mam"

"So this is how it will look like, are you satisfied with the moves?" Yoo Neon asked
"That was amazing" I said with my jaw open
"Amazingly hard!" MiU said
"Practice makes perfect" Yoo Neon said.
We started practicing the dance moves part by part. Yoo Neon was a good teacher because she was strict. If Yoo Neon is not strict, then we will never learn the moves. After hours of practice, we were all dead tired. MiU looked like she was going to pass out. We were covered in sweat and Yoo Neon looked at us grinning ear from ear.
"Great job, at this rate, you can master this by next week. It usually takes about 2 weeks to a month of constant practice to master a song. I will make this amazing report to the president. You girls go rest, you will be dancing all day tomorrow" Yoo Neon finished
We all went to our dorms and took a shower, then slept for quite a long time.
--Next Day---
MiU POV
I woke up the next day in pain. My whole body was soar, but i remembered the dance moves which was improvement.
Nori drove us to the SM building and we practice the dance moves once again. This routine continued until the day we debuted. I wasn't that sour by then because my body got use to the routine and pain. We were shooting our song video thing. It was out first song so we must make a good impression. We first sang the song with the dance moves, then we just used the song to shoot the music video. Nori, Eve and I lip synced the song and dance the play. The music video was about me sitting on the moon dreaming and then i reached for the stars. Nori and Eve came granting the wish and then we started rocking out the dance moves. The music video went along quite well, but we had to do a few retakes which was normal because Eve couldn't stop laughing at one part.
After we finished shooting the music video, we did a photo shoot. So this is what it felt to be a idol hun. Its really nice, but a bit tiring. We did a lot of poses, cute one and cool ones, then we did some group pictures and then we did some shots with clothes that will be on magazines. SM released the music video.
I was excited and scared at the same time because i didn't know if people liked it or not. What if they disliked it? I watched a lot of music videos which people didn't like it because it didn't suit the person performing the dance. Since curiosity killed the cat, I went onto Youtube and then searched up our video. 'Scarlet Dream'
I clicked on the first one, 100,453 views in just a few hours. That's good. Then i dared myself to look into the comments.

Our first concert was coming up and I was excited. Its actually a talk show kind of since we only have one song and you cant really put up a concert with just one song that barely lasts 5 minutes.

3rd POV
"Welcome to the talk show, "Meet the starz"" Said the MC "Today we will be interviewing the newly created kpop idol group, i welcome you Scarlet!"
"Hi everyone, we are Scarlet" Nori, MiU and Eve said in sync
"We have a few questions for you, but first introduce yourself"
"Hi, Im MiU, youngest member of Scarlet, nice to meet you"
"Hello nice to meet you Im Eve from Scarlet"
"Hello, Im the oldest member of Scarlet, Nori, nice to meet you"
"Thank you for introducing yourself! Now everyone is wondering how old are you guys being the youngest kpop group?"
"MiU over here is 16, the youngest and Im the oldest being 17" Nori explained
"Wow, that sure is young, you must have lots of talent to be accepted to be an debuted idol at a very young age. "
The show went on with questions and it was already 3 am in the morning. All the members were tired and went to bed. But woken up with a surprising announcement.
