Would you promise me?

Miyeon POV-

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock playing SHINee's 'everybody'. Well, it actually only plays the first part and tells me to wake up. I moaned and rolled over.

I glanced over at my clock and read the time. 6:45am. Sometimes I wonder why I even wake up this early.

Like usual, I toss and turn around in my bed for about 10 minutes, before bothering to get up. As I get up, I grab my uniform and run into the bathroom. I don't think I need to explain what I did in there.

I put my earphones in and stroll along the path of my school. I quietly hum to myself and look straight ahead.

"Mimi!" I hear someone call out. And, yes, I can imagine who it is. Kai.

Instinctively, I turn around and glare at the person who called out my name. But, my eyes widen slightly when I see Chanyeol staring at me grinning. I still, nevertheless, keep my guard up and continue to glare. In fact, I probably intensified it by 100.

He looks at me for a while before pouting.

"Why are you being so mean to me Mimi!"

This guy is seriously annoying.

"Who let you caall me Mimi?" I reply calmly. Well, I'm trying to remain calm, but every time he calls me that, I think of Kai, and his annoying trademark smirk.

"I heard Kai call you that yesterday. So, I decided to call you that too!"

"I'm sorry, but you can't call me that."

"Then why do you let Kai call you Mimi? No way! Do you perhaps... actually, forget it." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and looked down to the ground.
First Mistake he made; he didn't tell me what he was going to say.
Second mistake; he's looking down to the ground, as if he's avoiding my gaze.

He got me curious, so, I asked him to tell me. He refused and started to shake his head violently. I rolled up my sleeves, and did what any sane person would do. I tickled him. Nobody can resist this. After his severe punishment, he gave in. Unknowingly, a smile made it's way on to my lips.

"O-Okay I'll t-tell y-y-you," he said in between laughter, "I thought you l-liked h-h-him." I look at him in shock. How did he come to that conclusion?! I try to find the words, but I'm left speechless.

"I-I-I-I-I" Yep, that's all I was able to manage.

Then, I saw something very unexpected. He looks almost... Sad or maybe disappointed?
