Would you promise me?

MiYeon POV-

"Well, I hope that we can be friends from now on. I'm Kim Jongin, also known as Kai. What's your name? Or am I going to get a lecture for not knowing your name too?" He replied happily.

Seriously, what is wrong with this guy! And why does he seem so content. Gosh, it's so annoying.
'Don't befriend him Jung Miyeon, he'll just leave you when he finds out... out about that.'

"My name is Miyeon, and I'm sorry but I-" I was about to explain how I don't want to be his friend, but the teacher cut me off by starting his lesson.

"Now, we'll start with some vocal training and building trust, so everyone get in pairs. You have 2 minutes to decide who will be in your pair." My teacher said.

Finding who to be with is probably the worst thing there is. 'It's okay, just wait until everyone is in their pairs, and go with the only person left, then-'

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt someone poking my shoulder. Can you guess who it was? Of course! It was Kai! Great, now what does he want?

"Hey, Miyeon, do you want to pair up with me?" Kai's eyes lit up as he spoke. Why, why would he ask me? He should just pair up with one of his EXO friends, I mean, there are 12 of them anyway.

"I think you should-" I started, but was rudely interrupted. GOD! Why is everyone interrupting me today?!

"Kai-ssi, can I pair up with you?" Some girl, with to much make-up caked on her face, asked.

I turned to look at Kai and noticed he was biting his lower lip. 'Maybe he doesn't want to pair up with her. Oh well, she tried her luck, he'll obviously go to his EXO friend group, or whatever they are.'

"You see, I'm actually pairing up with Miyeon here, so I kinda can't..." He said whilst letting his voice trail off. He's what?! He didn't let me decide if I was going to join him or not!

"Oh, I see... I'll see you around later then. Bye!" The girl waved to Kai but, then turned to me and glared. And there you go, the reason why I can never befriend a girl. They always seem to hate me.

Kai turned to me and gave me an apologetic smile and shrugged his shoulders.

"Sorry, I should've let you decide first," Hell right you should've! "but, I guess your stuck with me for this lesson!" He replied, still to content for my liking.

...This is gonna be one hell of an annoying lesson!

Class has finally ended! I will admit, the lesson wasn't AS annoying as I thought it would be. But, I guess this is were mine and Kai's so called 'friendship' will end. Meaning, I will go back to being my usual, lonely, self. Oh, the joy of being an absolute loner!

I start to pack my things back in to my bag and then slung it over my shoulder and head for the door. However, I was stopped by someone. I'm sure you can guess, right? No, it wasn't Kai, surprisingly. Instead, it's a guy, who has ears that are too big for his face, and is way tall. I don't know his name, but I do know that he is one of Kai's friends. AKA, a member of EXO.

"Hi there!" He said, grinning. WOW, this guy seems even more annoying than Kai. Better ignore him. Yep, it was no use, he just continued.

"You partnered up with Jongin today, right?" Jongin? Who's tha- Oh, yeah, that's Kai's real name.

"Um, well, yes, yes I did." I hesitantly replied to his question. His smile grew even wider, and I swear to God, if got an wider than it has already, it'll be bigger than his face.

"Great!" And with that, he grabbed my hand and dragged me along the corridors.

"E-excuse me. Could you please let m-me g-go." My voice was shaking because there were so many eyes on me and too many girls glaring at me and whispering.

"Sorry, no can do." He said. I really need to know his name...

"W-where exactly are you taking me?" I asked cautiously.

He stopped for a brief moment and stared ahead before answering. Honestly, he's so tall, I can't even see what's ahead of me.

"Here. The cafeteria." He turned to look at me, and continued to drag me along before continuing "I'm going to introduce you to the other members."

WHAT?! No, no, no! I've already promised myself not to associate with anyone, and it was bad enough with Kai, now I have to meet all of them! This day just keeps getting worse! Before I even got the chance to get out of my thoughts and pull away, we were already standing infront of EXO's table.

"Miyeon!" Kai's eyes lit up once again when he said my name. Gosh, this guy is like a kid.

"This is the girl Kai worked with today," The guy with the MASSIVE ears started, "go on, introduce youself." He said and pushed me infront of him.

I guess, there's no escaping this. 'Come on, all you have to do is say your name then excuse yourself and leave.'

"H-h-hello, um, my name is Jung Miyeon. It's nice to meet y-you all." I said, and bowed my head slightly. Ew, bowing my head to these idiots is disgusting.

They all stood up and greeted themselves.

"Hello, My name is Suho, and I am their leader. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miyeon-ssi." Some guy name Suho said. He seems kind of nice. KIND OF, not completly.

"Hi, I'm Chanyeol and, um, sorry for dragging you here!" Chanyeol said, but he didn't seem very sincere. I mean, who smiles like a fool when apologising? Clearly, he does.

One by one, they introduced themselves. So I pretty much learnt 12 new names. Suho, Chanyeol, Kai, Sehun, Baekhyun, D.O., Kris, Lay, Chen, Xuimin, Tao and Luhan. They finished off by saying, what I'm sure they say all the time.

"And we are EXO!" They say in unison.

Well, no kidding.
