The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow

Iris P.O.V.

As I opened the door, I was shocked by what I saw. Youngmin was on the other side of the room changing. I closed the door as quickly as I could, turned around, and slid down the door.
I sat on the floor with my back against the door thinking about what I had just seen. My thoughts were interrupted when the door suddenly disappeared from my back and I fell backwards.

As I sat up, I saw Youngmin looking down at me with surprised eyes. As our eyes met, my heart started beating faster. I quickly turned away and told myself that it sped up because I was embarrassed.

"You okay?" Youngmin asked me.

"I'm fine." I replied.

"Why did you open my door?"

"Your door?"

"Yeah, my door. This is my room."

I looked at him with a confused expression. "But my parents told me that I could stay in this room."

Youngmin paused for a moment before answering. "That would explain why they replaced my bed with a much larger one."

"I won't intrude if I don't have to. I can just go ask my parents if there is another room that I could stay in." I said before turning around and walking back down the hallway.

When I heard Youngmin's door close behind me I took a few deep breathes and told myself to calm down. 'Why am I like this.' I asked myself as I walked.

I found my parents in the kitchen and walked over to them.

"Hey mom, are there any other rooms that I could stay in?" I asked my mom.

"Sorry sweetie. This place was built with only seven bedrooms, one for each of the Boyfriend members and one for us." she responded.

"Then can't two of the boyfriend members share a room? The twins could share a room, couldn't they?" I asked my dad.

“Werewolves of the same gender can’t stay in the same room, especially newly infected ones. It stimulates a hormone that increases their violence.” my dad responded.

“Just go sleep in Youngmin’s room dear. We already prepared for you to stay there.” my mom said.

I sighed in defeat. ‘Guess I am staying in his room after all’ I thought to myself as I slowly walked back to Youngmin’s room.

When I got back, he opened the door before I was able to knock.

“So.” he said. “Where are you staying?”

“Looks like my parents are forcing me to stay here with you.”

Once I said that, Youngmin got a slightly embarrassed look on his face, and stepped out of the doorway to let me in.

I walked in and my heart rate started increasing. I looked around the room. It looked pretty normal. There was a large king sized bed on one wall, with a walk in closet on the other side of the room. I walked over and looked inside, it was huge.

“Hey, give me two of your pillows and a blanket.” I told Youngmin without looking at him. “And take the clothes out of the closet that you will wear tomorrow.”

I could feel him looking at me. He probably thought that I was crazy. I probably am crazy. Most girls would have taken the opportunity to sleep on the same bed as him, but I know that I wouldn’t be able to.

Youngmin soon handed me two pillows and put a folded blanket by my feet, then walked past me and into the closet. He came out with some sweat pants and a large seater.

“Here, put these on. They will be more comfortable.”

My heart started racing again as I took the clothes. “Thanks.”

Youngmin shyly looked away and nodded. “No problem. Uh, goodnight.” he said quickly before scurrying off to his bed.

I took the blanket, pillows, and clothes and walked into the closet. I placed them on the ground and closed the door. There was a large dresser on one side of the closet. I decided to push it against the door so nobody could get in.

Once I felt that the room was safe, I changed into the clothes that Youngmin gave me and settled into my makeshift bed.

As I was lying down, I thought about all the things that happened that day. I met my parents after many years, got the three members of Topp Dogg back, met Boyfriend, and was told that I have a fiance. As I thought about the fiance news, my mind wandered to Hojoon.

I thought about all the fun times that I had with him and Topp Dogg. If my parents really don’t let me leave, I will miss them so much. They were my family.
