The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow

3rd Person P.O.V.

As Iris was reading, she subconsciously started crying. The writing made her think of her parents.

When she was seven, she was told that her parents had died in a car accident, so she had to move to an orphanage. Iris was able to get out of the orphanage when she started training with Brave Entertainment. They had provided the trainees with a dorm to live in. When she quit, she was eighteen and was able to access the money her parents had left, and she bought her first apartment. Ever since Iris bought the apartment, whenever she walked through its door, she would think of her parents. It was the only thing she had that reminded her of them. When she had to move due to the attack, she lost that last connection she had to her parents.

Now, as she read the letter, she felt as though she had another connection to her parents, even if it they didn't write it.

After some time, Hojoon broke out of his deep thought and noticed that the letter was missing. He looked around for it until he saw Iris's foot around the corner. He stood up and walked over to her. Hojoon panicked a little when he saw her crying. He sat down next to her and hugged her until she stopped crying.

"What's wrong?" he softly asked after she calmed down.

"The writing reminded me of my parents. Their writing used to look like this." Iris answered while wiping away the remaining tears.

The members of Topp Dogg didn't know that her parents were dead, they all thought that they were living abroad. Iris never liked talking about it, so she would give the excuse that they were living in Canada.

"Oppa, we need to go get P-Goon, Gohn, and Seogoong." Iris said with a sad tone in her voice.

"Are you sure you want to go? What about the contents of the letter? It said that they wanted you there. You could be in a lot of danger if you go." Hojoon questioned her.

"Think about it this way. Who would the public miss more, a below average college student, or the leader and two other members from a kpop group? They would miss the idols more." Iris pointed out.

"But what about us? We would miss you and worry about you every day. We would lose sleep over it." Hojoon stated, getting slightly angry at how Iris was seeing this situation.

Iris could sense the slight bit of anger in his voice. "Sorry oppa, I just wanted to help." She got up and sulked away back to Hojoon's room.

Hojoon's P.O.V.

As I watched Iris sulk away back to my room, my heart broke. I made her sad after I promised to protect her.

I picked up the letter and walked back to the living room.

"Hyung, why is Iris like that?" Xero asked me in a concerned tone.

"She read the letter and said that she wanted to go because she is nothing to the public compared to three idols. Then I got angry at her for thinking that way" Hojoon told them, his voice getting sadder as he spoke.

Yano P.O.V.

After I heard that Hojoon hyung got angry at Iris noona, I knew that she needed someone to be there for her. I got up and walked down to Hojoon hyung's room. Before knocking, I hesitated and could hear the faint sound of crying.

"Noona, are you okay?" I asked without getting a response. "I'm coming in."

I slowly opened the door and saw her on the bed. She was hugging her knees to her chest and had her head down. I walked over and sat down next to her. She slowly lifted her head and looked at me.

I saw mostly sadness in her eyes with a hint of disappointment. She probably wanted Hojoon hyung to come for her. I knew that she loved him but I knew I couldn't just leave her alone and crying. So I hugged her.

"I'm sorry we couldn't protect you from the reporters again. We should have noticed when you kept turning around." I told her using the softest voice I could manage. "Hojoon hyung and I are both sorry for letting this happen to you again."

I felt her arms slowly go around me as I spoke.

"But hyung was right to get angry just now. You shouldn't think about what the public would think, they don't know you. Think about what we would think, your friends. We are all slightly upset that you thought that way, saying that you are nothing compared to us. We all think that you are better than us. You can live a normal life. You can go to school, make friends, and hang out with them whenever you want. We can't do that. All of our other friends are idols. We can't go to school regularly, or hang out whenever we want. But we have you. You don't see us as idols, but as normal people. We all love that. Hojoon hyung loves that. That is why we are upset that you thought that way." I explained to her.

Iris took her arms from around me and sat up. "Sorry Yano. I just wasn't thinking right. The writing in the letter reminded me of my parent's writing. I kept thinking about my parents and that clouded my mind. Sorry." she apologized as she patted my head. "But I still want to go get P-Goon, Gohn, and Seogoong. So go and tell the guys that we are leaving soon. I will be right out."

Iris P.O.V.

As Yano left, I pulled my thoughts together. I walked over to Hojoon oppa's closet and found black skinny jeans, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket. Surprisingly, the skinny jeans fit me perfectly. The shirt and jacket were a bit big, but that was fine.

I walked out into the living room to see the ten boys staring at me like I was an alien. "Come on guys, we are going to get your members back." I told them as I made my way over to the door. I stopped to put my shoes on, and turned back to see them all frozen.

"Are you guys coming or not?" I yelled back at them.
