Late Night Talk

"Can we please stop running now?" Mark says half out of breath. You two were running for about 10 minutes until you reached your desired destination. Mark quickly stops complaining when he realizes where you brought him. "Isn't it nice?" You turn around and ask him. He smiles and nods. You brought him to a place you always went to since you were a child, whenever you were having a difficult time. "I haven't seen you come to the train tracks in a long time." Mark softly says. You bring your head down and chuckle before kicking a near by rock to buy yourself a few more seconds to think. "That's because everything in my life was perfect...until today." You check your phone to see what time it was, 11:23p.m. When you were younger you learned the times that all the trains come and pass by. "A train should be coming in 3 minutes," you announce. You sit on the ground close to the tracks and wait patiently. Mark comes to join you. Even though it was late at night the sky was very bright from the full moon above. You turn your head to left hearing the incoming train in the distance. Your entire aura changes when it comes closer and Mark notices as well. He chuckles at your excitement. "I'll never understand why you love the sound of trains so much," Mark shakes his head. "Me either," you honestly answer. As the train passes you and Mark the rush of wind hits you and you're not sure why, but you suddenly begin to cry. Not a few tears, but hard sobbing. Mark smiles at you and places his hand on your shoulders. "How long have you been holding that in?" Mark asks. "Too long," you smile back before grabbing Mark into a hug. You look up at Mark as he stared at you. "What?" You question him. "I've been holding something in too." You look at him with a confused look. He leans in and cups your face and presses his lips against yours using his thumbs to wipe away the stream of tears falling down your cheeks. Your body goes stiff from Mark's sudden action. But you soon melt into his gentle and caring kiss. When the two of you finally broke apart you both had a shade of crimson across your cheeks trying to avoid each other's gaze. Mark clears his throat,"Sorry." You shake your head letting him know that what he did was completely okay. "가자 (Let's go)," Mark holds out his hand for you to hold. You happily grab it and walk off leaving all the troubles behind you.
