"I'm Glad we Met"

You and Mark enter your favorite noodle restaurant. You have been going there together since you first entered high school. "어서오세요 (Welcome), (Y/N) and Mark." You and Mark bow and wave to say hello.The owner greets both of you by your names because, sadly that's how much you go there. "Ah, what brings you kids here so late?" She asks. "We both had to study late and forgot to eat," you try uyour best to explain. "But Mark was here earlier." She looks at us with a confused expression. "...Ah! 아줌마 (Auntie)...it's been a long day may we sit down." Mark quickly tries to change the subject. "오모 (Oh my) of course," she brings you and Mark to a table and doesn't bother to ask what you want since you both order the same items every time you come. "Wow, that was a crappy save," you tease Mark on his attempt on trying to change the subject with the 아줌마. He rolls his eyes, "At least I tried."
Not long after you and Mark sat down your food was already out. You grab your chopsticks, ready to dig into your food when Mark stops you. "Yah! What are you doing? I'm starving," you complained. He leans closer to you. "Remember when we first met?" He randomly asks. "Can I eat first then answer?" You pick your chopsticks back up, and start to eat. With your mouth half full with noodles you ask him, "Why?" He shrugs his shoulders, "It's just that today reminded me of when we first met." You continue to eat and wave your hand signaling him to go on. "Well when we first met 5 years ago, you were sitting on the swings and you were crying...You crying today just reminded me of that moment long ago."
"Ahhh, so what our saying is you enjoy seeing me cry because that's the only way you can remember how we met?" You teased. "안돼! (No)" He hits you on the head. "I was just kidding!" You rub your head. "Anyway, today also reminded me of when we first met. I remember that day clearly. It was the day my parents divorced. At first I thought you were an angel when I saw you. I thought no one was there for me that day, but then you came. Just like you did today. I'm glad we met." Mark nods and smiles, "I'm glad too."
You and Mark grab all your things about to leave when your ex boyfriend enters the restaurant. You look at him and see him hugged up with another girl. Mark hastily steps in front of you so you wouldn't see. "He moves on quickly," you try to joke to ease the extremely tense atmosphere.
"Let's go," Mark grabs your shoulders and leads you towards the door. As you walk pass your ex boyfriend he completely ignores you. Before you leave out the door you look back; you notice your ex look back as well. You give him a small smile and he smirks and winks at you before he turns back around. Mark pulled you out the door before anymore could be said.
You both walk quietly to your house. "You okay?"Mark asks.
You turn and grab Mark into a tight hug and bury your head into his chest. "Thanks." Mark chuckles, "For what?" You release him from your grip and smile. "For not being a jerk." Mark pulls you into another hug. You grab his hand and start running the cold night air hitting your face. "Yah! Where are we going?" Mark yells. "You'll see!"You yell back. As you run you feel a tear running down your cheek. You try to wipe it away before Mark saw. "Yah I'm tired!" Mark complains. You roll you eyes and laugh, “Let’s go!”
