You Are Mine

I storm into the room, angry, “So it was you!” I yell, “This is all because of you, Lay is hurt, Hyeri is hurt and Jessica might be too!” I continue to yell, I jump forward about to hit her, then arms wrap around my waist and I’m lifted out of the room, while I struggle in that persons arms to let go of me. “Calm down,” Chanyeol says putting me down. I frown, and brush my hair away from my face. Lay walks up to me and rests his hands on my shoulders, he looks into my eyes intensely, causing me to calm down. I look away slightly annoyed then remember something, “I need to find Hyeri, now!” I say, turning around running into the direction she walked into. “OCEAN!” The others yell behind me, but I ignore them and continue to run away.
I decide to check the roof, just in case. I see Hyeri, sitting near the edge. I quietly walk over to her, “Hyeri, are-are you okay?” She turns around, with red eyes, and tears running down her face. I have never seen her like this before, it’s fascinating yet heart breaking all at once. “No-I’m not okay,” she answers.
“Is Jessica you’re sister?” I ask, she looks at me and nods, “what happened? Where has she been?” I ask.
“I’ve seen her around the house at night walking into her room, she looked out of it,” she replies, “I remember Jae-Soo talking to her, after you debuted and when she erm… attacked you. I don’t entirely know what for, but she’s been black mailing my sister, so that’s why she hasn’t been to school for a while” she blurts out at full speed.
I clench my fists, together in anger, Jae Soo, really has no heart! How could she do this?!
“Don’t worry Hyeri, I will- We will put an end to this!” I say giving her a hug. “Come on let’s go, I have a plan…”

“Are you sure this is going to work?” Suho asks, uncertain.
“I’m positive!” I say.
“Alright then, we’re starting tomorrow, all of you guys meet at my house at 8:00AM, and the plan begins then,” I say eagerly looking at all of their faces. “I have to go now,” Skyler says looking at her phone, “See you tomorrow.” She says.
“Yeah, I think we should all go schools ended already” Tao says. They all begin to disperse just leaving Hyeri, Lay and me. “I really hope this goes well, I will get my happy sister back and Jae Soo will get what she deserves” Hyeri shyly says, before leaving.
I turn around to face Lay, who has a worried expression on his face. I tilt my head to the side like a puppy, “What’s wrong?”
“It’s just that this, seems dangerous, I’m worried about you,” he mumbles.
I look up into his eyes, and wrap my hand around his, “I’m fine,” I lie. Lay gives me that look, whenever I lie, he knows I’m lying. “It’s just my friends and my boyfriend have been hurt and I feel like this is all because of me, for joining this school…” I trail off.
He tilts my head up and holds my face in his hands, “This is not your fault, this all started because, of Jae Soo, being violent when it was not needed, okay?” he assures me. I nod my head, then he gently gives me a soft kiss on my lips.
“I’ll walk you home” he says after pulling away.

As we’re walking home, I see Mason talking to someone but I can’t make out who it is, but it seems like a girl, before I can say anything Lay pulls me behind a wall where he can’t see us. We peep our head round to see that we can see and hear what’s going on. And to my horror he was with Skyler.
“I like you!” they both say at the same time. I feel like my eyes popped out from their sockets, I turn to look at Lay, who looks equally as shocked.
I turn back around and see them hugging. “This is terrible!” I say turning to Lay.
“Shhh!” he says, “They might hear us,”
“I think it’s too late for that,” I turn around and see Mason and Skyler standing in front of us glaring.
I literally felt like I jumped out of my skin. “How could you spy on us?!” Skyler yells,
“How could you go out with my brother!?” I retort back.
“Ladies,” Mason and Lay say, pulling us away from each other creating a bit of distance in case someone decides to attack.
“Honestly, I’m not mad, but why didn’t you tell me that you actually liked him and it wasn’t just a little crush?” I ask slightly hurt.
Skyler’s face softens, “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, I just didn’t know how,” she answers back.
“I’m sorry I yelled at you” I apologise,
“I’m sorry too” she replies.
“NOW YOU!” I say pointing to Mason, he immediately looks surprised, “WHY, DIDN’T YOU TELL ME!?” I slightly shout.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know how you would have taken it if I told you I liked your best friend,” he rapidly replies.
“Okay, I’m not really mad, just surprised”
“Don’t break her heart, and don’t break his!!” I say referring to each of them.
They sheepishly nod their heads. “Good, I’ll see you at home then” I calmly say, taking Lay’s hand and walk off.

Ocean Sung-Hee, you can be really scary at times. I say to myself.
