I slowly open my eyes and to my surprise, I’m in a room with bright light. W-Where am I? I look around and I see Lay, lying his head down on the bed. I gently sit up to not wake him, but he opened his eyes anyway. “Ocean, you’re awake, are you okay?” he says with a worried smile. I smile back at him, “I’m okay. How did you find me?” I ask.
“I left my books in the music room,” he replies, moving closer to me. “Who did this?” he asks looking in my eyes, worriedly. I try to move my head away from his gaze. “I-I don’t remember…” I lie, he narrows his eyes, I feel my face go red, “Ocean…?” he says, damn he knows I’m lying, how does he do that?
He holds my hand and gently squeezes it, my heart skips a beat, “It doesn’t matter oppa, and I’m fine…” I whisper, putting on the cutest smile I can do. “Okay,” he says, leaning in to kiss me, but we hear a bunch of footsteps coming towards the room and he moves away. “Ocean!” they all say in unison.
“How are you?”
“Are you okay?”
“Who did this?”
All these questions are thrown at me all at once. “I’m okay, guys thanks for finding me and bringing me here,” I say gratefully.
“Omo! Ocean!” I hear a familiar voice, Tristan and Skyler rush into the room, and immediately give me hugs. “Jae Soo?” Tristan whisperers into my ear,
“Ne,” I whisper back.
“Excuse me, but Miss Seung Hee needs some rest, she will be discharged after her last procedure” the nurse says.
Everyone politely bows and quietly leave the room.
2 HOURS LATER
“Thanks for dropping me off, Lay” I say walking out from his car. He walks with me towards the front door, “Ocean, where were y-” Mason begins, then he notices the bandage on my head.
“I was at hospital, an accident happened at school…” I say
“Thanks for dropping my little sister off,” Mason says, shaking Lay’s hand. Lay nods. “I’ll be inside,” Mason adds. I turn around to face Lay, and give him a hug. I begin to feel faint and lose my balance, “Whoa! Ae you okay?” he asks, catching me. I Look up and nod, “I’ll see you tomorrow…” I mumble tiredly. He takes a long look at me and gives me a kiss, “Okay, sleep well” he says.
“Ocean, is that you’re boyfriend?” Mason asks teasingly, I blush. Well we have kissed three times now, and we both know that we like each other, so we are going out. I nod embarrassed. “He seems like a good guy,” he chuckles.
“He is,” I add.
“We should invite him over,” my dad says appearing from the top of the stairs.
“W-what? Where did you come from?” I ask startled.
“You have a boyfriend and you didn’t think to tell us?” My mum suddenly appears.
“Where are you guys coming from,” I say looking at both of them, “We started going out today, I was going to tell you, but then an accident happened” I say rubbing the bandage on my head.
“My poor baby,” she says sadly walking over to give me a hug.
“I’m okay now mum”
“So who is your BOYFRIEND?” she asks.
“It’s Lay,” I say smiling, “You guys have seen him before remember?”
“Oh yes, that handsome boy part of EXO” my dad says in gruff voice, I nod.
“Go to bed honey, its 10 and you need rest for your head”
“I need to return to my dorm room, to get my uniform and bags tomorrow,” I say sleepily, immediately falling asleep in Mason’s arms.
“I’ll take her to her room,” he says.
NEXT DAY
“Ocean!” Tristan and Skyler greet me as I walk into the dorm room.
“Hey guys,” I say smiling “you didn’t tell Manager Shin about this did you?” I ask.
“No” Skyler says.
“Thanks”
“Are you and Lay a thing?” Tristan asks.
“Maybe…” I trail.
“WE KNEW IT!” They laugh.
“Let me get ready and let’s go to school” I say embarrassed.
I leave my hair down, and tie a few strands around my head. (There isn’t a bandage on my head just a plaster and you can’t even see it because of my hair)
AT SCHOOL
I walk into the classroom, just the EXO members are in the room. Lay gestures for me to come over, I reluctantly come over and he whispers in my ear, “Should we tell them?”
“Yeah, that would be best” I whisper back.
“Guys I have something to tell you,” he begins so that the Exo members are facing him, “Ocean and I are-”
“-Girlfriend and Boyfriend” I say. Silence travels through the room, then it is immediately taken over by cheers and “I knew it!”
I giggle, and sit down next to Lay. “How’s your head?” he asks
“It’s fine, I have a plaster underneath my hair” I say. He smiles and gives me a warm hug. “Ohhhh-oohh” is said by everyone in the room.My face goes red and so does Lay’s.
“Who did this to you?” Lay asks, I sigh solemnly.
“It was Jae-Soo and well, not really Hyeri, but she was there” I quickly say.
“I never knew she would go this far…” D.O mumbles, everyone hums in agreement.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you yesterday…” I say resting my head on his shoulder.
“It’s okay, I understand” Lay calmly says, giving me a kiss on the head.
“Can I just say something?” Chen butts in, “Where is everybody?” he asks. We all suddenly realise that we didn’t see anyone in school. “I think today is ditch day, that’s why the teachers haven’t shown up either” Suho says.
“Well we might as well leave the school already-” Skyler begins, but is interrupted by Kai.
“Let’s go to the cafeteria and see if there is any food in the fridges, I’m starving”
“Yeah!” we all say. We walk out and head towards the cafeteria, Lay keeps hold of my hand while we’re walking. He’s so cute, I could just pinch his cheeks, but I refrain myself.
“This sucks!” Kai shouts from the kitchen, “There isn’t any food! I’m starving” he says disappointedly. Skyler gently pats him on the back to console him for his disappointment. “I know a place where we can get food,” I say smiling, “My house!”
“You’re going to be able to have 15 hungry people in your house!?” Tao says in disbelief.
“Uh-huh!” I sing.
“I have a really big house guys” I say
“Let’s go then!” Kai says happily, “be prepared to have all your food eaten by me!” he jokes.
