You Are Mine

“Ocean, wait!” I hear Lay shout behind me. I ignore him and continue quickly walking away, but he catches up to me. I feel his hand on my arm, I immediately stop and turn around. “What?” I sigh.“I didn’t kiss her, she leaned to kiss me, but I moved away. Ocean I don’t care about her, she did this on purpose” he says. I look up, staring into his dark eyes. I think he’s telling the truth. He’s been my friend for a while and I know when he is lying or not. “I believe you, Lay, I have a feeling that Jae Soo did this because of the incident in dance…” I mutter. He tilts his head to the side like a puppy, confused. I explain everything that happened and he ends up chuckling at a few bits.
Why would Jae Soo do that? What was she trying to gain out of this? BACK TO OCEAN’S P.O.V
Skyler, Tristan and I head to the dorms after school. “Manager Shin says that we should have 1 more practice of our songs we are going to perform for tomorrow,” Tristan says reading the text she received from her phone. I sit down on the sofa in the living room, and Skyler plops down next to me. “Sigh, do we have to I just want to go to bed right now…” Skyler says jokingly.
“Let’s get changed and go” Tristan says. NEXT DAY
“Okay ladies, get into your positons you got 10 seconds before the lights turn on” a staff member says. We all quickly shuffle onto the stage into positions. My heart feels like it’s going to pop out from my chest, but I’m so excited at the same time. The lights suddenly turn on, and the intro to our song begins with loud screaming and applause. The choreography went perfect and the singing went well, we tried to make our first performance perfect.
We finally finish, but I want to go back on stage, it was riveting! “Well done ladies! That was brilliant!” Manager Shin congratulates us, with a wide smile showing her gums. We all giggle. We go to our waiting room, and I walk to my bag. I received 12 text messages. They were from Exo! They were saying:
Well Done! You guys did great!

A smile creeps onto my face, “Ocean…are you okay?” Tristan asks suddenly standing in front of me. I jump back startled. How did I not notice her in front of me? “I’m okay, just reading some texts I got from friends,” I mumble.
“Oh, you mean Lay?” she snickered. I gasp and look up from my phone, blushing, about to say something when she cut in, “So it is Lay!” she giggles.
“Okay, it is Lay, but it is also the other EXO members as well…”I mumble, blushing harder. She laughs, “It’s okay, I’m just teasing you, I got some from a few members too” she adds. I let out a sigh of relief and playfully nudge her shoulder. Skyler cheerfully skips over to us, smiling. “You guys got text from the EXO members to right?” she asks giggling. Tristan and I simultaneously nod.
“Let’s go now, we got to rest we have a busy schedule tomorrow” Tristan says.
-2 days later Monday
I quickly walk into the classroom and sit next to Tristan. There was barely anyone there apart from Chanyeol, Xiumin, Luhan, Kai, Sehun and Skyler, “I finally came early today” I say quietly. Tristan slowly turns her head to my direction looking worried, “Tristan are you okay…?” I ask slightly worried myself. “You have to be careful,” she begins, I look at her confused.
“Why, what’s going to happen?” I ask
“Jae Soo and Hyeri…I overheard them, talking about you, and it didn’t sound good,” she whispered.
“What did they say they were going to do?” I whispered back.
“I didn’t hear it because I had to walk away before they could see me” she lowered her voice again.
Jae Soo and Hyeri walk in confidently, Jae Soo immediately glares at me, she must have seen Trifecta’s debut stage performance, I smile back innocently which makes her angrier. “Hey did you watch anything interesting on Saturday like a debut stage of a certain group…?” I ask cunningly.
“Why, you little bi-” she begins, running towards me with her fists up. As soon as she’s close enough I just swiftly move out the way and she tumbles over almost falling to the floor. “Jae Soo punching another girl isn’t very lady like, is it?” I ask in a sarcastic voice.
“Ocean, stop…” Tristan mutters. I give a big sigh.
“Okay, Okay, I’m done” I mutter and walk out the class. I run up to the rooftop to get some air. I lie down, looking at the blue sky. I close my eyes. I feel like something is over my face, I slowly open one eye and see Lay’s innocent face looking at me. I smile, “Hey,” I say, he lies down next to me.
“Are you okay?” he asks, looking concerned. I sit up and sigh.
“I’m okay, just calming down because of a certain, WITCH called Jae Soo,” I quickly say. He sits up and scoots closer to me. “You don’t need to worry about them, they’re just jealous” he says. I giggle and slowly look up at him. I look into his eyes and slowly move closer to his face, but hesitate. He suddenly kisses me and I kiss back. His lips send tingles down my spine. I suddenly pull away, remembering we have class. “We should head to class now…” I say sadly. He bites his lower lip and smirks. “I’ll go first” I say kissing him on the cheek.
School comes to end very quickly. I slowly head to the exit, but I’m stopped when I feel a thump on my head, I quickly blackout, and wake up to see Hyeri looking at me worried. I’m tied to a chair, and I feel like my lip and head is bleeding, (To be honest you wouldn’t expect this from a popular and spoilt 17 year old) “What the fu-?” I begin.
“Hush it!!” Jae Soo yells.
“Where am I?” I ask.
“In the music room” she answers.
“Why did you have to do this?” I ask irritated.
“Why-Why?” she scoffs
“You humiliated me in front of the whole dance class!” she yells, practically screams.
“Oh, Jae Soo, honey, darling, you humiliated yourself by slapping me when I was being nice to you” I bluntly say. I untie my hands and stand up, Hyeri gasps causing Jae Soo to look at her then me. “Listen, I don’t want to cause any more trouble, so let’s leave bygones be bygones” I say.
“NO!” Jae Soo yells, “This isn’t fair you get to debut, become popular and you’re surrounded by EXO!”
“I didn’t do this on purpose, it just happened, plus I really want to head home so, see ya!” I say walking towards the door. “You’re not going anywhere!” she yells, I turn around and see a book heading my way, the next I know is that it’s all gone black.
LAY’S P.O.V-
“Come on let’s get going” Suho says excited.
“I’m coming, I need to get my books from the music room” I say, “I’ll catch up with you in a bit”
I walk into the music room and see a girl on the floor, it’s Ocean! I run over to her. Her head is bleeding and her lip is swollen with a cut. “Ocean, Ocean, wake up, wake up!” I shout. I hear loud footsteps coming towards the room. Suho peeps his head round the corner and his eyes widen. He is quickly followed by Chanyeol and Luhan, suddenly all the members appear. “Hyung, what happened?” Kai asks, with a worried expression on his face.
“I-I don’t know, I just found her like this, she doesn’t look like she’s in the best condition…” I trail of as tears almost form in my eyes. She slowly begins to move and open her eyes, “L-Lay help…” she weakly begins and she falls unconscious again. “We need to take her to hospital!” D.O says. I gently pick Ocean up and Kai takes her bag and we begin to take her to hospital.
