“wait! Is that Kim Ju Rian”
“yup that is her..wae?” answered another junior student of myung woo high school
“aigoo.. don’t you know about that rumor”
“ anniye…”
“no wonder everyone called you outdated –person”
“huh…sighed Kim Ju Rian.
A mystery 18 y/o of Myung Woo High School, who is a secretive person and never bothers of the rumors of her at all.She never had a friend hence she entered the school.
Sometimes she is acting weird such as wondering at the window. And whisper by her self.
The student thought she might have talking to the ghost- all the dead spirit
“look, Kim Ju Rian is coming” said Baek Sung Hyun.
“yaa!!chongmal…don’t you look at her eyes dude! Don’t you remember the curse?” warn Jaeho, the school bulliers
“aaaahh…gurae..biane” replies Sung Hyun
“aigooo…neo cheongmal..” sighed Minsuk, Jaeho partners.
Some of the rumors said that if someone looked into her eyes, even a second, they will get a bad luck. since then, they called it ‘ Rian’s curse”. The rumors spread widely until to the known of teachers. Now, even the teachers were afraid of her. poor Rian.
“I hope I’m not too late to school.” Said Rian
Still walking alone to school and wore her headphones so she will not hear the other students whispering among themselves.
She enters the class as usual. She realized that all of the students are watching her. But she never bothered it because they will watch and stared her like that every time when she passes by. It was like they are watching a terrific ghost flying nearby. Quickly she walk towards her table at the end of the class besides the window.

"I guess I should done my math’s while seonsaeng didn't come yet."

Then, there's a knocked on the front door of the class.

"Joheun Achimnayo, Mr Kim!" the class monitar command, followed by the rest of the students of the class.
"Today, I want you to meet your new classmate. Kevin! Do come here." Mr Kim continued.

Rian stopped her homework when Mr. Kim standing in front of the class. She was stunned for awhile.

"Why does that boy seems familiar to me?" said Rian herself.
"Have I met him before? Or it is just an imagination of mine?" she whispered.

"Annyeong! I'm Kevin Woo. Hope we can get along when I'm here. Thank you." Said kevin and smile.
All the girls in the class shriek as the flower boy smile to the class
“ you can take the empty seat beside kim ju rian at the back. Will you be okay with it?” asked Mr. Kim with a worried smile.
“dae ,gwenchanayo seonsaengnim” nodded kevin and make his way towards rian
“this can’t be.. the flower boy will be cursed by her..ottoke..” whisper some girls in the class as kevin take his seat besides rian
“ annyeong, irumie kevin woo. Remember me?” said Kevin as Rian eyes widen

Rian Flash back

“kev!!! Try catch me if you can” shouted Rian as she throws snowball at kevin
“Yaa!!! You’re dead if I catch you” said Kevin angrily and started chasing Rian around.
They start chasing each other happily until at one point Kevin shouted at Rian to stop when she started to entering the red line.
“Rian-ah!! Kemanhae..lets stop now..we’re no supposed to enter the forbidden forest remember? Your mom said that its dangerous. Lets go back to our house ok? They’ll be mad if we enter the forest.. lets go back ok? Plus its seems creepy” said Kevin while glancing at the forest.
“its not dangerous Kevin-ah.. lets go..wait a minute..creepy??? are you afraid kevin-ah?” tease Rian
“ am not!! Im not afraid at all..” stutter Kevin
“so??? Lets go!! I’m promise ..its going to be less than 5 minutes ..this will be the best memories ever” said Rian and started walking towards the forest.
“But….” Kevin hesitate to follow Rian but in the end he follow Rian because he afraid something will happen to her.
“woah, its beautiful. See Kev? There’s nothing dangerous in this forest. Its too beautiful too be harm. People just spread a net of lies Kev. Im totally in love with this place” said Rian while they walking deeper in the forest.
“Rian-ah, lets go back. Its almost 30 minutes we walking in here. Our parents will be worried if we late for our dinner” said Kevin with a worried voice while looking back at the path that they took. Hearing no reply from Rian, he turn back his head to Rian. His eyes widen to see what Rian is up to.
“Rian!! Get down now..ppali. You’ll get hurt. Oh no!! your mom will be angry if she sees this”said Kevin with a shaky voice as Rian started to climbing up the tree .
“Stop shouting Kev. I will lose my focus here. I want to check on something. There something glowing up here” Rian said while pulling herself up.“Yaaa!! You’re such a rock headed person. Ok fine.. be quick” Kevin said waving his white flag at the stubbornness of Rian.
“waah, kev you’re not going to believe this. There’s bracelet here. Glowing in blue light. Its so amazing. There’s crescent moon on these bracelet kev. And stars too.” Rian said while her eyes glued to the bracelet while her hands attracted to the bracelet.
“Rian-ah,its better not to touch anything. Its ….” Its too late.Kevin cannot finished his word when suddenly a loud crack heard and infront of his eyes. Rian lying there and not moving.
“Rian-ah!!!” Kevin quickly run towards rian and try to waking her up..
“Rian-ah.. iruna..iruna..ppali..” tears starting to appear in Kevin eyes. Out of sudden , he heard a soft growl. A cold sweat starting to formed. Quickly he piggyback Rian and ran out of the woods.
After that incident, both Rian and Kevin were punished because they enter the forest . Their parents were very angry and not letting them play outside anymore. They only can meet each other once a week.
“Kevin-ah, something weird is happening to me. I’m scared” Rian stutter when their on the phone
“Why? What is happening? Tell me” Kevin tried to comfort her
“ Just come to my house this evening. I’ll show you. But promise me.. can you?” asked Rian
“What is it? I’ll promise you” said Kevin
“Promise me you will not freak out after I tell you and don’t leave me .. ok?” cried Rian
“shush… okay.. I promise you. Don’t cry. Ok. Pinky promise, copied, stamp on my head. I’m going to eat hundreds of needles if I lied.” Said Kevin comforting Rian
That evening
“Don’t worry Rian-ah. You can tell me. I’ve promised you right?” Kevin said
Rian nodded and pull Kevin to the window.
“Did you remember the day we in the forest?” Rian asked
“yeah.. why?”said curious Kevin
“ weird things started to happen to me after I touched the bracelet. First , a crescent moon appear at my arm” Rian said while pulling her sleeve up and there is dark blue crescent moon engraved on her arm. Kevin eyes started too widen
“ I’ve done everything to get rid of this thing.. but nothing worked. But the more weird things starting to happen for the past few days. I can control the 4 element. Look” said Rian slowly moving her hands like she was drawing something in the air. Kevin eyes widen too see a small tornado in front of their eyes.
“ the weird things dosent ended here. See that rock carefully” said Rian pointed to the big rocks at the end of her house. Rian pulled her hand into a fist and ‘crash’ the rock broken into pieces. Then she pour the water from the glass n stop it in the middle of the air. And then he clicks her finger and a small fire came out from her finger. Rian looked at Kevin’s shocked face
“Sure you afraid of me now huh?” said Rian tearing up
“No Rian, am not. I’m glad that you tell me. I doesn’t matter if you’re changing but deep in you.. I know you’re still Kim Ju Rian that I know.” Kevin said confidently and pull Rian into his hug
“this thing getting stronger. I afraid of it Kev..” tears starting to rolled down Rian cheeks
“Don’t worry Rian, I’ll help you. I’m promised you right? Forever I’ll be your best buddy even though you’re changing” kevin promise Rian
Every weekends Kevin will helps Rian to control her power at the back of Rian’s house. She slowly can accepted the power that gifted to her and control it.
Until one night, a big thing happened in Rian’s house. Rian is having a bad nightmare. The next thing she knows is her room is on fire. Her father woke up from his sleeps when he smells something burning. He detect that the burnt smell came from her daughter room. He quickly pulled Rian out of her room when realizing her room were on fire. Her dad return back to their burning house to save her wife. In a blink of eye, there was explosion from the house. And like that. Rian became an orphan in just one night. Starting that day, she blamed herself for her parents death. And shut herself out except for one person that completely be with her after that incident before she was sent to the orphanage .. Kevin Woo
