The Thirteenth Force

We were almost to the church. Just a few more blocks.

Memories tried to surface but I pushed them down. I couldn't relive that day. But as the one man I wished to never see again jumped in front of me I knew. I knew they would find out the truth and I would relive it.

The man in front of had a wild look about him. Wild, blood shot eyes, clothes dirty and a mess. Guilt took over my heart. This was my fault.

"Can we help you?" Asked Tao

"I want the bitch dead!" He yelled pulling out a gun. "She killed my daughter!"

Tears stung my eyes, my knees went weak. I dropped to my knees, head bowed.

"Dannica?" Asked Kai

"It's true." I whispered

"Tell them!!! Tell them how you killed my Kelly!" The man cried

"Both Kelly and I were ten. The best of friends. It was a normal day like any other. We danced in her front yard. At the time she lived right across the street from the church." I started tears now loose. "I grabbed her hand and she couldn't breathe. She dropped to the ground, blood coming from her mouth. I screamed. I didn't know what was going on. I watched as her soul left her body, her eyes went dead."

"She killed her!" The man screamed

"I did. A sister and her father ran out to us. He picked up Kelly, crying. The sister took me to the church. Explained that I was the thirteenth force. I had killed my best friend. I made her soul leave her body. She was only ten." I said

"You can stop now." said Kris bending down

"Tell them what else you did!!" He said

"Later that night I ran away from the church. I couldn't believe I killed my best friend. That I killed Kelly. I want to the hospital where I knew her body was. I don't know how I passed the doctors but I did. I pulled out the tray that had Kelly. I cried trying to wake her. Tried to give her back a soul. Tried to give her mine. But no such luck." I said. "After hours of trying I fell to the floor. At the time I didn't realize that I had summon ghosts, one of them being Kelly. She had went to her father first not knowing she was dead. Than she come to me crying blaming me. I didn't mean to. I wanted her back."

"Now she has to die!!" The gun now pointed at me once more

I closed my eyes. I was ready.

A gun shot rang in the air, the sound bouncing off the walls.
