(2 WEEKS LATER) 4:50pm HOSPITAL

“Noah….” Jessica called her while checking her new reports. “I am glad you’re doing good and being more careful.”
Noah stared at her and nodded.
“Well….” Jessica handed the file to Noah. “Um… I wanted to ask something.”
“Ye?” Noah replied while checking out the details on the file about her health status.
“Noah… are you dating Kevin? I saw you guys together a few times.” Jessica asked with concern.
“Uh…. I can do nothing about it. He keeps following me no matter what I do. He says he likes me. I told him to stay away but----”
“Noah….” Jessica interrupted. “Noah…. He is already infected with the disease.”
Noah glared at Jessica in disbelief.
“When he raped you…. He got infected and then came to me. I do his check-ups regularly.” Jessica said. “He has just nobody to be with…. That’s why he wants to be with you.” Jessica clarified.
“No… I don’t think so… I’ve never seen any probl-em with him…. I think it’s a misun-derstanding…..” She stuttered.
“Noah…” Jessica patted her. “What’s the matter?” She asked as she saw her watery eyes.
“N-nothing…. I am just tired…..”
“Noah… I am planning to leave for Sweden,so you have to come with me as well.” Jessica said.
“Um…. Ok….. but what about Kevin?"
"Uh....... that...... a friend of mine will take care of him. Dont worry." Jessica assured her.
"I gotta leave now.” She stood up and left the room silently.
“Uh that damn Kevin…. I told him to stay away. He’s still 50% at risk of developing it again.” Jessica murmured.

NEXT DAY, 8:00pm

Kevin and Noah were at the bridge sighting the water flowing below them.
“Its cool.” He said while looking at the water waves.
“Hm….” Noah leaned her back against the railing of the brigde.
“Is there something wrong?” Kevin asked with concern.
“Ye….”
“What?”
“You are infected. Right?” She asked.
“Nope…” He replied.
She sighed and looked at him. “Unnie told me.”
“Who?”
“Jessica unnie. I know you are meeting her for check-ups.” Noah stated.
He looked back at her with relaxed expressions. “I visited her a few weeks ago. But what I am saying is right. I am alright now.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean that Jessica is lying.” Kevin stated.
She smirked.
“You still don’t believe? She treated me and now I am fine. I swear.”
She just stared at him. “Ok.” She said.
“Noah… look at me.” Kevin held her hand.
“You’re cured? This isn’t possible. You’re just trying to be safe, so that you can still be with me. How nasty!” She shoved his hand away. “Annyeong.”
“I know you love me. I know it…. so I am still gonna bother you!!!” He yelled from behind her.
“SHUT UP.” She yelled back and headed home.

She entered her apartment. Her flight was tomorrow so she packed her stuff. After doing the chores, she rested over her bed. She sighed and sighed again. “There is no use of thinking about Kevin now. I am leaving, so I’ll leave all the memories behind.” She thought and got up. She made a pony tail of her hair and roamed around in her bedroom. She then started listening to music on the i-pod to avoid the thoughts. She felt water over her cheeks. Being deceived again and again wasn’t easy. She covered her mouth to stop making weeping noises. Suddenly, she heard the sound of door opening. She turned back and wiped her tears roughly.
“Can I enter?” Kevin asked with dead serious face.
She nodded.
He walked towards her. He turned around, so that his back side could face Noah. He took off his shirt and threw it on the floor. “Noah… I am ready for any penalty you wanna give me. You can pour hot water or even acid over me.” He sighed. “I lied every single time when I shouldn’t have. That is why you aren’t believing me even when I m not lying. I added some more pain into your already damaged life. So, I wanted to make it a little carefree. I wont leave you no matter how badly you treat me, cuz I am the person responsible for your tears that you’re shedding right now. I---” He tried to continue but Noah back hugged her.
“Noah… I’ve really cured. Jessica said I developed antibodies against the virus. So, I am alright now. I don’t care if I get infected again if any mutation occurs, which is why she told me to stay away from you still after being cured.”
“Don’t give expla-nations.” She sniffed. “It’s ok. I forgive you for everything.” She wept a bit more.
He gulped back his tears.
She parted and then came forward to face him. She looked directly into his eyes. “I do believe you.” She said. She held his cheeks from both her hands and kissed him. He widely opened his eyes at her sudden reaction. She detached her lips from his and removed her hands from his cheeks which were blushing. She turned around and walked away a bit but he grasped her hand. She closed her eyes and bit her lower lip. She slowly turned back to look at him to know what he wants.
“Can…. Can I sleep with you tonight?” He asked. “Please.” He pleaded.

They were in the bed together. Kevin hugged her tightly.
“I happily pierced myself with a knife called Noah.” He kissed her hair. “Just stop crying.” He felt her watery cheeks over his shoulder.
“Am I a knife?” She asked.
“No… you’re a bit**.” Kevin chuckled and she parted.
“I hate it. It isn’t even funny.” She stated.
“I’ll stop once you call me an assh*** like you called before.”
“Assh***.” She pouted.
“Urgh….” He posed to be angry and then laughed.
She giggled. He parted a bit and kissed her lips. She kissed back. Noah placed both of her hands over his neck and he grabbed her hair tightly. He got over her and stared into her eyes as they stopped kissing.
“Will you say I love you, just one time?” Kevin asked.
“I love you, Kevin.” She answered and a genuine smiled crossed her lips which melted Kevin.

Kevin woke up at 10am. He yawned and got up. Noah wasn’t beside her. He got out of the bed and wore his shirt which was neatly placed on a chair, rather than on the floor, how he left it last night.
“Ah where did she go?” He said while searching the rooms. She wasn’t in any of them. He then picked up his cell to call her but he received a message from her.
“Sorry Kevin, I had to go with Jessica unnie. I believe you now, so, I hope you’ll be healthier and happier in your life. Sorry for all the troubles that I caused. Annyeong. J” He read the text and covered his mouth tightly with his hand. The text crushed his heart. “Dammit!!” He mumbled.

2 YEARS LATER (STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN)

Noah came to the same garden where she buried her cat. The place was still like that even after almost 3 years. She bent down to look at it carefully. Her long black hair fell over her back, her black but dull eyes were staring at the exact place. Everything was going well in her life, that you call a normal life. A smile crossed her lips while she was thinking about something. She saw a pair of shoes in front of her, so she stood straight to look at the person standing in front of her.

She lifted her eyes, peeking from behind her fringes, to look at the man in front of her.
“I still don’t know why you killed the cat.” The guy pouted and then a wide smile appeared on his adorable face. He had trimmed his above shoulder length hair. He seemed like a true gentleman, completely opposite to what he used to look like; not wearing a casual but a formal dress.

“I-its none of your business.” She suddenly looked away from the dazzling sight.
“It is, lady. You made me kill an innocent creature.” He tried to hide his smirk with his fist.
“Uh… w-what-----” He placed his finger over her lips to stop her from proceeding.
“I told you, you never leave my mind. It’s gone crazy now. I am here for treatment. So, will you?” He asked.
“Huh…. If I say no…. will you not force me to?” She asked.
“Hmmm that’s even good. You know how I am.”
“How can I not know you?” She raised an eyebrow.
“Let’s go then…..” He grabbed her hand as she fixed her hair behind her ear.
“Where to?” She asked.
“First…I’ll punish you for leaving me and then we can think about my treatment.” He said that seriously.
“Punishment???? That means changing hairstyle and dressing doesn’t changes a man.” She giggled softly.
He smiled back. “I learnt one thing.”
“Really, just one?”
“One important thing.” He corrected.
“What?” She asked while walking with him.
“True love brings separation but nothing changes even after being parted.” He stared into her eyes. "Lets burn together in this fire called Love."
