“So… his mother isn’t paralyzed… but mentally ill??” Noah asked Byunghun as he told her about their story.
“She isn’t paralyzed.”
“And what about Seolhi?? Where is she now?” She asked.
“She’s dead.”
Noah sighed. “Did Kevin really love her?”
“I don’t know….” He shrugged.
She smiled. “So… he even cheated the friend who made him a better person.”
“It wasn’t Kevin but Seolhi who fell for him.”
“I still think Kevin is at fault.”
Noah and Byunghun reached before her apartment. “Ok… now you go…..” Noah said as she entered her apartment. He still stood at her door, staring at her. She looked back at him and gave him a questioning look.
“can I come inside?” He asked.
“Didn’t you say that we’ll be together after you become free of your responsibilities?” She reminded him. Nevertheless, he entered. “Why are you doing this?” She glared at him and he sat on the couch. “So you wont listen to me! What if something undesirable happens???”
“What undesirable??” He smirked.
“Ahhh.. don’t take the wrong idea…… undesirable meant what if you get infected too?”
He kept on smiling mischiviously.
“Don’t plan anything…….!!!!” She said as he stood up. She looked away while frowning. “I wont talk to you, B-byunghyun….”
“Oh come on… its ByungHUN……”
“Whatever it is…..” She replied quiet rudely.
“Oye oye oye….. what’s with your attitude? It’s my name… don’t take it easy” He moved towards her and slipped over her purposely but posed it as an accident.
He lifted his body up over her. She was lying down. He stared into her eyes. “I am sorry….” He said.
“Ok but get off…..” She tried to push him away with her hands but he didn’t . “Byunghun… I said get off.” She bulged out his eyes and then looked away. “I am waiting for you to stop your stupidity and get off.”
“You could be this cute when angry….. I am glad I made you mad.”
“Oh really?” She said while glaring at him.
“Stay still…” He said and lowered his head over her head while placing his hands on the floor.
“Byunghun…. Don’t……” She said in a worried tone but he still leaned closer to her lips.
This time she pushed him harder and got up.
He was still sitting on the floor. “ You don’t love me back….” He murmured angrily.
“I do… that is why I am telling you to stay away.”
“I don’t need explanations!” He stood up and yelled. He came closer to her and she moved backwards. “That Kevin…. He kissed you…. He even raped you and he is alright!!!! And he even don’t love you…. Yet…… YOU KEEP ON TELLING ME TO STAY AWAY!” He glared at her while bulging out his eyes. She seemed frightened. He caressed her cheek. “It makes me suffer… But… ok… I’ll wait.” He walked away and slammed shut the door.
Noah gulped. “And do you even know how much I have to suffer? You can never have an idea about that…… ever.” She wiped her eyes while talking to herself.

1 DAY LATER
Noah went to the departmental store while wearing her mask and gloves for safety purpose. She bought a coat for Byunghun as a present since he was angry with her. She also bought some other stuff and went out. As she was just a mile away from her house, she saw a cute furry white cat just like her old cat. She seemed really excited. She sat down and looked at the cat affectionately.
Eli and Kevin who were following her stood near while hiding from her.
“Ah just look at her!!!! She told me that she is allergic to chocolates and look… now she has one in her hand.” Kevin pointed at the chocolate in Noah’s hand. She took a bite. “I cant tell you how angry I am right now.” He said.
“Oh please Kevin! You did much more than this to her!” Eli said and keenly observed Noah. “Hmm so she really has some contagious disease?” He looked at her gloves and mask.
“Well you don’t believe me?” Kevin asked. A female dog got his attention which was standing nearby. “Eli my friend… do one more thing…… say out the word bit** loud.”
“Wae???”
“Just do it and then watch her reaction.”
“What if she finds out both of us?”
“She wont….”
Eli glared at him and then did as he said.
As soon as Noah heard the word she startled and looked back while hiding her chocolate. “Omo…..” She exhaled out when she couldn’t find Kevin anywhere while searching with her eyes.
Eli chuckled. “What was that?” He asked Kevin.
“I call her that so she reacted and hid her chocolate cause she lied to me about her allergy.”
“I feel bad for Byunghun….” Eli sighed.
“Now go and tell her what I told you to say.”
“Now???”
“Ye …. Go go…..” He pushed Eli and left.
“Annyahseo…… can I talk with you?” Eli said to Noah.
Noah got up but still staring at the cat with umma feelings.
“Miss…..”
“Ne?” She asked.
“Can I talk with you?” He asked.
“Ye…”
“Uhh not here… can we sit over there?” Eli pointed at a bench.
She glared at Eli. “Ani… not there…. Cause I don’t know you.”
“If you know Byunghun and Kevin…. You shouldn’t be confused over this.”
She paused and then headed towards the bench. Eli followed her.
“Hi…. I am Eli…. And I am their common friend.”
She was once again startled. “Eli?”
“Ye… Kevin sent me to talk to you about something important.”
“Kevin!!!”
“Well you know Byunghun….. I mean…. You’ll make his life even tougher. He has a large family, 5 siblings and he’s the only brother and second eldest. His father is dead and mother is ill. He has so much responsibilities over his shoulders.”
“I know all of that. Come to the main point.” She said that rudely.
He smirked at her. “Then you’re so selfish.”
She glared at him. “Did Kevin tell you to say that too?????”
“OH MY GOD….you’re so rude.”
“I am rude to everything related to Kevin. So …. Come to the main point ……..”
“Ahh I wanted to say that… don’t over burden his life and leave him alone. And isn’t it good that Kevin’s actually immune to the virus.”
“He even told you that????? He told you everything????” She asked while squinting her eyes in shock.
“Uh… look Noah… I know Byunghun likes you but we have a plan to make him dislike you… cause that is the only option for you to get rid of him.”
She stood up. “We’ve a better plan… and don’t interrupt. Anyeong.”
“Wait…” He stood up as well. “I’ll call you if you change your mind cause I know… you are a mature girl. You’d understand the circumstances.”
She frowned at him and left.
She reached Byunghun’s house and rang the bell. She waited for someone to open the door. The door opened and Byunghun appeared. He kept on looking at her with amazement and didn’t speak a word.
She blushed. “Ummm…. I ….i bought a p-present for Byunghun.”
He smiled at her. “Really?” He asked.
She gave him the bag. “Here….you can use it… I didn’t touch it.”
He breathed out. “It would be better if you touched it.”
“Oppa… who’s she?” His little sister emerged from behind him.
Noah looked at her.
“She’s my most precious friend. Noah…” He introduced her.
Noah sat down on her knees and smiled at her. “Whats your name?” She asked and the little girl moved forward towards her.
“Soyou.”
“Aww so cute…. And how old are you?”
“I m 7. And how old are you?” Soyou asked.
Byunghun was amused to watch them talking and he folded his arms while smiling like crazy.
“I am ……. 85 yrs old.”
Soyou laughed. “I know you’re 18…… right oppa?” She asked Byunghun and he nodded.
Noah chuckled and took out a chocolate from her bag.” Here… take it.”
Soyou accepted the gift and Noah extended out her hand to pat her head but before she could do so, Byunghun grabbed her hand and stared at her. She looked back at Byunghun. “Noah….” He spoke out her name. “Soyou… you go now… I am coming.” He said and the obedient girl went inside.
Noah stood up. “I am sorry. I forgot that I can’t touch her this casually.”
Byunghun remained silent.
“I didn’t know you had 7 yr old sibling.”
“Noah….. promise me you won’t leave me…. Promise me that you’ll wait.” He said.
She pushed her hand away from his grip and nodded. Then she left for her home.
