Cherries and Chocolates

“So, you won’t resist anymore?” Kevin asked but there was no reply from her side. She was panting and sweating. Her body temperature was high than normal. This was the worst thing that could ever happen to her. Her body was already motionless without any drug. He wasn’t rough but still she can’t endure it all.
Someone knocked on the door. The knocking was hard and continuous.
“Urgh … What the hell!! What now?” He murmured and got up.
“I know you’re in there, Kevin! OPEN IT NOW!!!” it was Byunghun
“OH MY GOD…”He dressed himself. “Oye… get up and hide!” He patted her head but she didn’t respond. “Urgh…” He wrapped the blanket around her and carried her. He opened the door of washroom and put her down. “Don’t dare to make a noise.” He ordered and closed the door. She was on the floor, only a bit conscious.
Kevin opened the door. “Byunghun…”
Byunghun grabbed him through his collar. “Where did you hide her?”
“Who are you talking about?” Kevin asked in an annoyed tone. “Why you always interfere in my matters?”
“This one is mine too. Now tell me where is she?” He released him and turned on the lights. He saw her clothes on the couch near the bed. His movements stopped at once. He glared back at his friend. Kevin looked away.
“Why, Kevin?” He asked with bulged eyes. “Didn’t I tell you I like her?” Byunghun asked.
“That bi** didn’t deserve you man… She is nuts. There are so many problems with her.” He explained while facing him.
Byunghun reached Kevin and attacked him with his punch on his face with full force. With the jerk, he fell on the floor.
The washroom’s door caught Byunghun’s attention. He went towards it and opened it. What he saw was unbelievable for him. She was unconscious lying on the floor with the blanket hardly covering her body. He carried her. “Do you have your car now with you?” He asked Kevin.
Kevin looked at her body parts peeking from the blanket. There were few red spots on her body.
Byunghun covered all her body.
“I didn’t do this…” Kevin said worriedly.
“Gimme her cell.” Byunghun asked for her cell phone.
“How did you know all this, about this place and ....?”
“Just do what I say!”
He took out her cell phone and gave it to Byunghun. Byunghun checked her contacts. There were just 4 contacts. He knew about her disease and conditions she was facing. Instead of calling Jessica, he called Misook. He explained her situation.
“We have to hurry. Come with me! And bring her things.” Byunghun got out of the room.
Kevin looked at him. He couldn’t interpret the whole situation. “Was he serious when he said he liked her?” That was on his mind. “Is her body that sensitive to everything?” He wasn’t capable of answering all these questions which were piling up in his mind. Nonetheless, he took her things and followed Byunghun.

“Is she still unconscious?” Kevin asked while driving his hyung’s car.
Byunghun remained silent. “I hope she keeps on being unconscious until you are here.” He said.
“So, where are you taking her to?”
“To her apartment. I’ve called her doctor.”
“H-her doctor?” Kevin asked while taking another turn.
Byunghun stroked her cheeks. “I am sorry. I wasn’t able to protect you. I am really sorry. But please… get well soon. I won’t forgive him ever” He whispered to her while a tear exuded out from his eye.
Kevin felt a gloomy environment.
“If anything happens to her, I’ll kill you for sure.

Noah’s apartment 12 am
“So, who’s the guy?” Misook asked the two boys.
Byunghun pointed at Kevin.
“So, what can you do, lady!” Kevin said angrily. “I am not afraid of you guys.” He said and folded his arms.
“Look son, the thing here is even more complicated. Meet me tomorrow.” She handed her card to Kevin.
“Why would I need to call you?”He asked rudely.
“Are you Byunghun?” Misook asked.
He nodded.
“Well done. I am glad you didn’t call Jessica. There would have been a fuss, if she were in my place. I have one last favour to ask you.”
“Yes?” Byunghun asked.
“Please explain the things to him.” She looked at Kevin.
“I will.”
“Thank you… Now you guys may leave. And don’t worry about Noah… I will be with her.” She assured Byunghun and smiled in response.
Both boys came out of the apartment.

“So… what the hell was she talking about?!” Kevin shouted as they both came out of the building of the apartment. Byunghun again punched him on his face.
Kevin’s lips bled. He wiped the blood from his lips. “WHY!”
“She’s the girl I love!” Byungun yelled.
Kevin glared at him with confused looks.
“She was the girl I used to tell you about. She was the one from Sweden and my online friend.” He told.
Kevin stood still and couldn’t believe what his friend just said. “Why you didn’t tell me then?” Kevin asked.
“I wanted her to remain hidden from you. Kevin…” Byunghun grabbed his collar and pushed him against the wall. “What kind of friend are you? How can you do this to a girl I like?” He glared at him and then loosened his grip over him. “She is suffering from a contagious disease. It’s a viral infection that causes metabolic disorders. And it transmits from mother to child, from saliva, from sex and many other ways. You kissed her… you raped her… now be ready to make up for your sins.” He released his collar and left.
