Unhealthy Secrets

-N P.O.V.-
I walked into class and didn't see Miyong.
"Where's Miyong?" I asked ken.
"Ummm... I don't know." He said and I could tell he was lying.
"Where is she?" I asked again more seriously.
"She's coming but she will just be a little late."
"Why?"
"I don't know."
"What do you know?"
"That she's going to be late." He said and I wished I could read his mind. "Are you guys an item yet?"He asked.
"Umm... what do you think?" I asked with a huge smile.
"You really like her don't you?" He asked.
"Yeah and I think she's started to like me back."
- Leo P.O.V.-
I waited outside of Miyong's house to walk her to school because I was worried about her after last night.
Suddenly her mom yelled out to me.
"Are you one of Miyong's friends?" She asked excited.
"Ummm... yeah, I came to walk her to school." I told her getting a little shy.
"Well come in and eat breakfast with us." She said waving for we to come in.
I walked into the house and the food smelled amazing, I've havent had I warm breakfast in a very long time.
"Miyong will be done in a minute." Her mom told me.
"Ok."
"Take a sit here and I will get you a plate." She said pulling out a chair.
"Oh thank you." I said and sat down.
"I'm so happy she has finally made a friend or two, she says its not worth it but she should start thinking about herself sometimes."
"What do you mean?"
"Has she not told you?"
"Um... about?."
"Her illness." Her mom said.
"Mom..." I heard Miyong say angry behind me.
I turned around to see her standing with her bookbag.
Suddenly she turned and ran out the door not looking back.
"I better go." I told her mom and bowed.
I ran out after her and finally caught her a block away.
"Why won't you let anyone care?" I said not realizing how loud I was.
"Because I don't want anyone to get hurt!" She said crying.
"Why would anyone get hurt?"
"Because I'm terminally ill!" She yelled and everything froze.

Hey Ken
Me and Miyong are going to be late, cover for us.

We went back to my house to get her a cup of coffee and let her calm down.
"Can you tell me about your illness?" I asked her.
"Umm... its triggered when i use a certain power and I can't control when I use it." She said.
"You have more than one?"
"Yes but Leo?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm so scared." She said and started to shake.
I pulled her in for a hug and rubbed a hand on the back of her head.
This is why she is the way she is.
"What's going on?" I heard N's voice.
