Two days later after the incident and revelation of truth

Everyone was inside the classroom and their waiting for their teacher to come in

Irene was busily doing her homework while Youngjae is beside her. Youngjae can't stop looking at her. Irene looked at him...

"Is there something you want to say?" Ask Irene

"No" Shook his head



She went back to do her homework but Youngjae felt something...

Youngjae's V.O

Why am I feeling this way? What's wrong with me?

"Irene" Youngjae said

Irene looked at him but he couldn't seem to speak up.

"What is it?" Irene ask

"Uhmmm.... What are you doing afterschool?" Youngjae ask

"I'm not quite sure, why?"

"Do you want to hang out afterschool?"

"Sure, where?"

"Anywhere" Youngjae said. "I'll wait for you in the playground?" He said

Irene nodded and the class finally started

A few hours later, Youngjae left first. While Irene was about to leave, Joy, Seulgi and Wendy ask Irene if she'd like to hang out

"Irene Eonni, wanna come hang out with us?" Joy ask

"Sorry guys, I have already made plans." Irene responded

"Plans? with who?" Ask Seulgi

"Youngjae"

The girls were shocked

"Why are you guys so shock?" Irene ask

"What did he say when he ask you?" Wendy said

"He just ask me if I was free today and he wanted to hang out" Irene responded

"He's asking to date Eonni" Joy said and the girls teased her.

"Date? No way... He just ask me to hang-out... Girls, come on I know what your thinking and that's not it... We're all friends" Irene said

"Maybe..." Wendy spoke and Irene interrupted her.

"I have to go, Youngjae is waiting" Irene rushed out and left

"I think Youngjae is into Irene Eonni" Joy said with a cute voice

The girls giggled....

Youngjae is sitting on a swing while waiting for Irene patiently.

"Hey!" Youngjae said as Irene arrived

"Sorry if you waited long"

"No it's fine"

Irene sat on a swing beside Youngjae

"So why did you want to hang out?" Irene ask

"Oh... It's... uhhhh..." Youngjae don't know what to say

"Don't tell me you needed help with our assignments?"

"Oh yes... I do need help..." Youngjae said

"Ok, I'm not that intelligent but I can somewhat help you" Irene said

"No..."

"No?" Irene ask in confussion

"Actually I want to get to know you more"

"Get to know me?" Irene said and Youngjae shook his head.

"Oh..." Irene stopped and there was an awkward silence

"Do you want to go take a walk at the park?" Youngjae ask

As they were walking at the park

"So tell me, how did you and Mark hyung became friends? Youngjae ask

"I actually don't know, when we saw each other we just became friends just like that"

"I wish I met a friend like that" Youngjae said

"What do you mean? I thought you were popular?"

"Yes I was but, I don't really have loyal friends like you or the others."

"So, you mean to say is that all those friends that you had were fake?

"Not really... I guess..."

"Mark hyung is like my best-friend cousin because we tell each other secrets."

"Don't you have siblings?" Irene ask

"I'm an only child" he said "What about you, I heard you have siblings"

"Yes I do, I have an older brother and sister. Yes, I am the maknae in our family"

"Your lucky because you have your older brother or sister whom you can talk to all the time" Youngjae said

"Not really... because they're too busy with their works and I feel like I'm not really the maknae"

"Still, at least you have your family beside you"

"Well I guess" she said

Youngjae and Irene got to know about each other and they had fun while having those conversations.
