I see him... walking across the side of the pool with his friends. Nana jabs me in the ribs and smirks at me.
“Looking at that hot dude huh?” she says, still smirking. I roll my eyes at her and laugh.
“Aww....a summer fling, hey ________?”
“Lol, I guess....”I say.
“Wait....omg!” she squeals. “What????” I say, alarmed.
“See that waiter dude over there?” she says, nodding in the direction.
“Yeh...”
“Ask him if you can help him bring some food around on those plates, and then go talk to the hot dude over there” she says, excitedly.
“Mmm....I’m not sure about that..”
“What could possibly go wrong?”
“Everything?”
“Oh shut up, and go, don’t be a chicken”
“Fine Fine”
I walk over to the waiter and lightly tap him on the shoulder.
“Hi, um... I was wondering if you needed some help with carrying those big heavy metal plates around”
“No, now go away, you’re bothering me” he says, coldly.
“But, don’t you want a break?” I say, sweetly
“Mmmm...I guess I’m a little tired…Oh alright, fine..” he says and hands me a plate of mini cheesecakes.
“And don’t give so much to that group of boys” he says, nodding in the direction of the hot dude’s group, “they’ll probably take the whole plate....little rascals these day” he says and walks off.
I take a deep breath in and out and I walk towards them. They seem to be playing a mini game of futsal.
“Hey...would you guys like a mi-”A hand hits me in the chest and pushes me backwards. I balance on the edge of the pool but then a foot hits me in the ankle and I fall in, backwards.
The mini cheesecakes go everywhere in the pool and I am soaking wet. I surface and see a group of guys staring laughing.
After a while of his solo laughing, his friends join in and I’m in the pool staring up at him like an idiot.
“Swim much?” he says and walks away laughing.
I scowl at him as he makes his way across the side of the pool and disappears inside the house with his friends. I drag myself out of the pool and make my way towards where Nana is standing gawping at me.
“Oh....my....god...” she says.
“What?”
“We need to get you cleaned up” she says and drags me to the bathroom. Lucky for me, Nana’s mum is a fashion designer and always has extra fashionable clothing in the bunk of Nana's car.
Nana and me walk out of the bathroom together and make our way towards our table.
The floor was wet with giant splutters of water from my incident in the pool and me, wearing heels decides to slip and fall forward.
A pair of arms catch me and pulls me up.
"Woah... You okay?" a voice says.
I look up and see the hot dude...
Great.....the hot dude that said 'swim much?'.
I stand up with two feet and wiggle out of his grip.
"I'm fine, thank-you very much" I say, giving him and overload of attitude.
"Are you sure?" he says, looking into my eyes, looking genuinely worried.
"Yes" I say, giving him more attitude.
"Wow....why are you giving me so much attitude??
"Because.....you insulted me.." I say, gently
"Insulted?!?!" he says, alarmed.
"What do you mean? All I said was 'swim much or something.."
"Yes..and that was insulting to me"
"Oh really? Sorry.....but you did look a little but ridiculous in the pool with your hair all stuck to you face.." he says, chuckling.
"YAH!" I punch him on the arm, playfully. Correction, strong muscular arm....Must also remove my arm from strong muscular arm.
"So....are we cool?"
"Yeh....I guess.." I say, smiling
"If so...then...um..d-do you wanna go out with me sometime?" he says, shyly.
"Yeh..sure" I say. "You're actually pretty cool of you forget about the pool incident"
"I'm not cool...I'm cuuuuuuteee, sweetttttt and funnyyyyyy"
"As if...." I say, smiling like hardcore
