Sanha huffed in annoyance. She couldn't figure out what Jackson was trying to tell her. She even surprised herself when she understood what he was signaling (telepathically) to her. She rolled all over her bed, trying to find an answer to the problem. Why was she having such a hard time? She was top student in class and yet she can't even figure out such a simple problem? There's something wrong with me. I swear I'm going to go crazy. Stupid Jackson! She screamed through her pillow.
"Sanha!" The voice of her mother interrupted her screaming fest. Sanha stopped, and narrowed her eyes at the closed door before replying, "Yeah? What is it, omma?"
"Can you come down here for a second, honey? Your dad and I have to discuss something with you."
Sanha groaned, rolling off her bed, "Okkayyyyy..."
She sauntered down the stairs and plopped onto the couch opposite her parents.
"Yes, mother and father dearest?" Sanha asked lazily, "Is there something that bothering you?"
"Actually honey, we were thinking of sending you abroad." Her father spoke slowly, making sure his daughter heard him clearly.
"Bwoh?" Sanha was in disbelief, "Why now?"
"Well, dear, we'd thought it'd be a good idea to send you abroad, considering how well you've done this year." Her mom said, smiling at her daughter.
"Oh, cool, so when do I leave?" Sanha asked, raising an eyebrow at her parents.
"Next week." Her mom clapped her hands happily, "We've planned everything for you, don't worry! It's a present for doing so well in school."
"Okay...?" Sanha was speechless. Since when was her parents this nice? They would always nod their head and say, "Good job." but this time, she's getting sent abroad?
"Good! Now go pack! I've brought two more suitcases just in case you need more space to pack your things!" Her mother yelled as Sanha went back to her room.
When she got to school, she was back to her normal state. Sleepy and laid-back. She was enjoying her peaceful nap until someone burst into the classroom, making Sanha jump in fright. She glared at the person before closing her eyes again to resume what she was doing seconds ago.
She heard the usual scrape of the chair next to her, but this time, Jackson's voice was heard.
"Sorry about that, Sanny~" Jackson's voice entered her ears.
She cracked open her eyes and looked over to Mark's seat, only to find Jackson seated comfortably.
"Sanny? What the heck? What are you doing here? You aren't even in this class."
"Wow, for a loner you talk a lot." Jackson faked a surprised look. Sanha rolled her eyes.
"Soooo, have you figured it out yet?"
"No, why should I?" Sanha grumbled, feeling unhappy with Jackson--who had interuppted her nap time.
"Awww, god-dammit!" Jackson whined, banging his head on Mark's desk.
"Whatever, now go away."
"No."
"Go away, or shut up. Let me sleep."
Jackson grinned as he knew that he was getting on Sanha's nerves. He smirked when he felt Mark's presence behind the door.
Mark was thankful that he had such a friend. Jackson was willing to speak to Sanha for him, and with that, he owed a lot to Jackson. Mark stood there silently, watching Sanha converse with Jackson--well more like bickering and he smiled.
For the next couple of days, Mark was slightly unnerved with the fact that Sanha wasn't attending classes, let alone attend school. As Monday arrived, Mark was getting more worried. He was worried that something had happened to her.
As per usual, the teacher walked into class, ready to get started. "Good morning students. As most of you have noticed, our dear classmate Song Sanha has been absent for the past week."
The students nodded and murmured amongst themselves, guessing as to why Sanha was absent for the past week.
"It turns out that she will not be coming back to this school as she is going to study abroad."
Mark was dumbfounded. How come he didn't know about this? Because you've never spoken to her, stupid!
"Seon-saeng-nim!" Mark called out, raising his hand.
"Yes, Mark?"
"When is her flight?"
"Her flight? Ah, I think it was at 1:30? Why?"
"I need to go to her! You know why!" Mark managed as he shoved his stuff in his bag and rushed out.
"Aish, finally he decides to confess." The teacher chuckled, as she shook her head, "That boy."
Mark couldn't stop moving. He was fidgeting and nervously bit his lip, glancing down at his watch every now and then.
"Neh, ajusshi when are we nearly there?" Mark questioned as looked back down at his watch, checking the time.
1:09
The elder man chuckled, "Not much longer, child."
"Ah, okay. Thank you."
Mark burst through the airport doors as he rushed to the nearest receptionist.
"Excuse me miss, but do you know which flight Song Sanha is on?" He panted as he took in a deep breath.
The receptionist nodded, "Ah, she is on flight 28, door 12."
Bowing, Mark thanked her, "Thank you so much, miss!"
"SONG SANHA!"
Sanha thought she was hallucinating. She suddenly heard Mark's voice calling her.
"YAH! SONG SANHA!"
Yep, she was definitely going crazy. She kept on walking until she felt a hand grab her shoulder and pulled her backwards. She stumbled, obviously surprised. She was even more shocked when she saw Mark's face.
"M-Mark?" She stuttered, "What are you doing here?"
"To see you, pabo." Mark scowled playfully, flicking her forehead.
"What?" She widened her eyes as she covered her forehead.
Mark rolled his eyes and leaned in and pecked her on the lips before he engulfed her in a hug.
"Have you not got the message yet?" Mark whispered in her ear, "I like you."
Sanha turned red, "Oh... Thank you?"
Mark chuckled, "When you come back, I'll make you fall head over heels for me. Don't you worry. Oh, and stay away from the guys over in America. Got it?"
Sanha smiled, reaching up to peck him again, "Yes sir."
"Good, now go and get your ass on that plane before I take you back to school." Mark commanded, letting her go and shooing her away.
"Okay, see ya~" Sanha giggled, walking off waving back at Mark who returned the gesture.
"I'll see you soon, Song Sanha and trust me, you'll fall for me."
Notes
Part.2 is here~ Enjoy, shin-woo-ssi!^^ Honestly, it was so hard to write, considering that they (as in Sanha and Mark) had never spoken to each other before. God, Jackson cracked me up while I was writing part.1. He's such a dork. I can totally imagine him making retarded faces (like he did when he was trying to get the gummy worm--or something like that into his mouth>.<")
Woooow~~ thank you! I LOVE IT! ^^ <3
