daehyun`01 | truth behind rumors // pt.2
for: junshin
genre: fluff, romance
group: b.a.p
bias: jung daehyun
JunShin was puzzled. She was seriously confused. After the 'encounter' with Daehyun, she found herself thinking about him a lot. The rumors of 'DaeShin' were still going around, but she couldn't care less. Daehyun was back to his normal self, being flirty and adorably annoying. JunShin was slightly disappointed, but what can she say? He was known for being a player. She knows what he's like.
Even though the idea of him playing with her was quite unsettling, she knew that was the most realistic answer. There was no way he actually liked her. He was just joking around with her. If he did like her, then he would've brought up the kiss. He didn't though.
JunShin was deep in thought until she bumped into a wall. Well, a live wall. She stumbled back, spluttering a bit. The wall let out a chuckle and JunShin realized that what she bumped into was not a wall. She looked up and saw Daehyun. She gulped. She really didn't want to deal with him.
Gently, Daehyun pried JunShin's fingers off of her books and took them. He smiled at her, secretly adoring her flustered face. JunShin was obviously uncomfortable under Daehyun's gaze and on-looker's whispers. She could hear them. Loud and clear.
"Look, so I guess they are together."
"Omo, DaeShin is real! Look, DaeShin is real!"
Daehyun seemed to notice that JunShin was uneasy and he took hold of her hand, "C'mon. I'll walk you to class."
He began to walk, being careful not to drag JunShin along. She felt the tingles again. It shot up and down her arm like fireworks that had just gone off. "Sunbae..."
Daehyun stopped when he heard her voice. This the first time he had heard her talk to him ever since he kissed her. He felt butterflies fly wildly around his stomach. He composed himself, "Yeah?"
"Why are you doing this?" She asked in a low whisper, avoiding his eyes.
Daehyun was taken aback. "What?"
"Nothing." JunShin shook her head, looking up at him with a fake smile plastered onto her face. She pulled her hand away from his and proceeded to take her books from his other hand.
She bowed respectfully, "Thank you sunbaenim, but I think I can handle it from here."
With that she walked off, and somehow it felt like deja vu, but the tables were turned. Daehyun stood there in the middle of the hallway, watching her disappear as she turned a corner.
JunShin's heart was pounding so hard that she thought that it would literally shoot out of her chest and (maybe) kill her. She was breathing hard. After she knew that Daehyun couldn't see her anymore, she ran. She ran as far away as she could from him.
She decided that it was best to avoid him for now. She'd avoid him until she felt like everything had gone back to normal and when she could be herself around him again. She sighed and walked into class, hoping that time would pass by slowly, so she didn't have to deal with him.
"JunShin-ah," Subin called her friend, a worried look was clearly shown on her face, "Are you okay? Is there anything wrong?"
JunShin silently shook her head and continued eating, praying that Daehyun would go nowhere near her for the rest of lunch.
Juah gave JunShin a skeptical look, "It's because of Daehyun isn't it?"
JunShin choked, coughing hard. Jina and Subin quickly gave her water and started to pat/stroke her back.
"Is it the rumors?" Juah asked gently, a motherly tone lacing her voice. JunShin nodded as she slowly found herself back in her normal state before she started choking.
Jina glanced at JunShin with a concerned, but guilty look, "I'm sorry JunShin. I couldn't keep my big mouth closed. I was too excited, I really thought that you two were adorable together, so I told Junhong and I think others heard."
"It's okay, unnie. I'm not mad at you or anything." JunShin gave her unnies a smile. Her friends looked at each other, relieved that they hadn't hurt their baby JunShin in any sort of way.
Lunch was going fine until Daehyun came out of nowhere. The girls were eating peacefully, until they heard his voice.
"I'm going to borrow JunShin for a bit okay?" Without waiting for them to reply, he already had himself and JunShin walking out of the cafeteria.
JunShin was dumbfounded. It was seriously her worst day ever. Daehyun continued to walk, clasping JunShin's small hand in his big ones. Once he reached the student council room, they both went inside and he locked the door.
He let go of JunShin's hand and faced her. He raked his hand through his dishevelled black hair and looked at her.
"I did something wrong didn't I?" He started, before sighing, "I'm sorry for whatever I did. I just can't stand you not talking to me and avoiding me."
JunShin stayed silent, still unable to meet his eyes.
"Look, I know you think I'm a player, but I'm not. Trust me."
"But I don't. That's the problem, Daehyun." JunShin whispered, "You kissed me and left. How was I supposed to know what to do next?"
Daehyun grabbed her chin gently and raised it so she was looking at him. "I'm sorry I walked off. I was a dick for doing that."
"Why did you kiss me?" She asked, her voice barely audible, "To play around with me?"
Daehyun gently pulled her in, their lips were brushed up against each other, "I kissed you because I wanted to, not because I was playing around with you."
He moved in and captured her lips once again. They stayed like that for a couple of seconds, but then Daehyun angled his head so he could take it a little further. He licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance. JunShin had no idea what to do. She had never actually made out with anyone before, so it was sad to say that she had no experience with kissing.
Seeing that she wasn't letting him, Daehyun grabbed her waist and squeezed it which caused her to gasp a little. He took the chance and plunged his tongue in her mouth, tasting as much of her as he could. He pulled back, breathing a little heavily. JunShin was bewildered.
"I really meant it when I liked the idea of DaeShin." Daehyun whispered against her lips, "I really did."
"C'mon say something. I can't stand you giving me the silent treatment." Daehyun whined, hugging her waist.
"..."
"JunShin!"
"..."
"Babe..."
"W-w-what?" JunShin stuttered, her eyes widened at the nickname.
Daehyun grinned, "I win. You're mine now."
