This Is My Life...

[The Next Morning]. GOT7 was getting ready that morning to go to the airport for China at 12PM. At [9AM], Kevin drove Annie to the hospital for her surgery. Before entering the room, Annie stayed in one of the rooms to prepare to go into surgery. She told Kevin about Mark.

Annie : if my surgery doesn’t go well, please tell everyone i love them.
Annie : especially to Mark.
Kevin : your boyfriend.
Annie : tell him that im sorry about what i said before.
Annie : i was afraid that he would be caught up with the idol life that he forgot about me.
Annie : i was afraid of long distance relationship with him but as along as he's there,
Annie : im okay.
Annie : i was wrong about him and im sorry.
Kevin : Annie. everything is going to be okay, trust me.
Annie : i trust you oppa.
Annie (*gives him her cellphone) : hold onto my cellphone for me, would you ?
Kevin : i will.

At the same time, Jr. woke up early to make some breakfast for the guys and while cooking, he got a call from Kevin and Annie who were in the hospital. Jr. then stepped outside to talk to Annie on the phone.

Jr. (*phone rings & answers it) : Hello ?
Yejin : Jinyoung-ah.
Jr. : Yejin ? (*steps outside to talk to her)
Yejin : I just wanted to say one thing, good Luck on your promotions with GOT7.
Jr. : thanks. Are you okay ?
Yejin : Im in the hospital right now with Kevin and Im going through with the surgery.
Yejin : Dont tell Mark about this and focus on your promotions.
Yejin : i promise, i will be okay once i get out. you know that right ?
Jr. : why Yejin ?
Yejin : its better for my condition that way. i'll be okay. Just go, have fun. Bye.

Jr. and Yejin hung up the phone. When Jr. walked back into the house into the kitchen, Mark came out of his room dressed. Jr. played it cool and just continued to cook. It was on his mind all that time. He had to tell Mark so Jr. went to close all of the room doors and quietly whispers to Mark making him rush out the apartment.

Jr. : Mark.
Mark : yeah ?
Jr. : There's something i need to tell you about Yejin.
Mark : whats the matter ?
Jr. : Yejin is going into surgery today for her rib cage. She told me not to tell you.
Jr. : i thought you should know.
Mark : its not it. We have talked about this before. She said she was afraid to do it.
Mark : why make a decision now ?
Jr. : you can go now and find out why. Its not too late.

At the same time, the nurses then came into the room to wheel her into the surgery room. Kevin helped the nurses wheel her on the way to the surgery room and getting up to the room, Kevin had to let go of Annie. Kevin sat at the chairs outside of the surgery room waiting for Annie to come out. During this time, Mark ran to the hospital to see Annie but he was too late, she had already went into the surgery room. When Kevin was sitting there, Annie's phone had rung and Kevin picked it up from Mark.

Kevin (*picks up Annie's phone) : hello ?
Mark (*talks while running to the hospital) : is Annie there ?
Kevin : she just went into the surgery room. you must be Mark.
Mark : i am. i guess i was too late.

Mark ran into the hospital looking for Kevin urgently. He sat next to Kevin when he saw him there.

Kevin (*slightly says) : your Mark ?
Mark : yeah. Was Yejin alright ?
Kevin : she was nervous before she entered the room.
Mark : She's a tough girl.
Kevin : Yejin told me about you. so your the one who stole her heart ?
Mark : she said that ?
Kevin : Mmmm...
Kevin : she said that she was afraid that you would be so caught up with the idol life
Kevin : that you would forgot about her.
Kevin : she was afraid of long distance relationship with you but as long as your there,
Kevin : shes ok.
Kevin : she was wrong about you and she's sorry.
Mark : i never meant to make her wait for me. i didn’t know how she felt.
Kevin : i wanted to thank you for taking care of my sister when i wasn’t there.
Kevin : i know that i’ve been busy with work lately but it was to keep us together.
Kevin : she struggled because of me, because of us.
Kevin : i never meant to hurt her.
Kevin : she told me about everything last night when i came home.
Mark : im glad she did.
Kevin : Do you know where Yejin really got the money for the surgery ?
Mark : After the debt problem, she saved every cent she had from work.
Kevin : the surgery costs more than the debt, how was that possible ?
Mark : she managed to save all of it in such a little amount of time.
Mark : she's a very smart girl, wise girl. thats what i loved about her.
Mark : i have to leave soon for GOT7's promotion, will you give her something for me ?
Kevin (*nods his head)
Mark (*hands him the box of ring)
Mark : tell her that even though she didn’t win the showcase,
Mark : she most definitely won my heart.
Mark : she should always wear it and look at it when she's sad.
Mark : will you tell her that for me ?
Kevin : i will.
Mark : i have to get to the airport, thank you.
Kevin : good luck on your promotions with GOT7.
Mark : thanks. (*smiles)

Mark left the hospital home to get ready to leave to the airport. Yejin's surgery took 3 hours and Kevin waited for her in the waiting room until she was done. When he was waiting there, Taehyun came to see Kevin to talk to him.

Taehyun (*comes sitting next to Kevin) : Sunghyun-ah. Yejin, where is she ?
Kevin (*looks over to Taehyun) : Yejin is still in surgery. It's been 3 hours.
Taehyun : how was she ?
Kevin : she was nervous.
Taehyun : thats a relief. there is something i want to talk to you about.
Taehyun : can we talk outside ?
Kevin : Oh, right.
(*Going outside to talk)
Kevin : what did you want to talk to me about ?
Taehyun : i know that you two have been living a hard life with Yejin.
Taehyun : i want the both of you to come live with me, Gi Young, and Jr. at our house.
Kevin : why would you want us back ? you never wanted us in the first place, why ?
Kevin : besides, isn’t Jr. going to move out soon ?
Taehyun : He moved in with GOT7 at their new apartment couple days ago.
Taehyun : its just me and Gi Young. it got a little lonely around the house.
Taehyun : i don’t want you two to live life like this anymore.
Taehyun : so please come live with us.
Kevin : does Gi Young want us ?
Taehyun : i asked her. she said she was happy to accept you both as her own child too.
Kevin : but she isn’t our birth mother, why should she be like that ?
Taehyun : her only son left to pursue his dream and now she has no children left.
Taehyun : she would want you two.
Kevin : i have to ask Yejin about this, its her decision too.
Taehyun : if she doesn’t come, would you ?
Kevin : i have to ask her. i can’t leave her like last time, we promised to stick together.
Taehyun : think about it and let me know, alright ?
Kevin : alright.
Taehyun : call me if anything happens to Yejin.
Kevin : Okay.

Taehyun had left the hospital and Kevin went inside back to waiting in front of the surgery room. After 3 hours of surgery, Annie was okay and came out. She was transferred to the regular rooms on the bottom floors. She was still asleep. Kevin took care of Annie when she was there.
