In Hiding

~ Chungji P.O.V.~ When Jonghyun slamed open the door to the closet I grabbed on to Key in a hug. To my surprize he hugged back in a protecting way and a became very nervous.
"Jonghyun, how dare you try to hurt our new pretty member. Its not a fair fight." He said very sarcasticly and now holding the back of my head.
I finally pulled out of his hug and looked up at Jonghyun.
"I'm not going to hurt him so don't worry, your over reacting." He said in a calm voice.
"I just want to know if he has any talent." His voice got darker and he grabbed me by my wrist.
He pulled me down the hall and into a recording room. Four other people walked into the room after a minute. They were the other members, so this was all of SHINee. Gosh why has this day been so long!?
"Why don't you sing us a song? I'm just dying to hear and see how talented you are." Jonghyun said.
I looked around, do i have anyone on my side? Its only been a couple hours that I have been here. I looked to Taemin and he's pointing at his ipod and mouthing the words "sing one of our songs" so I guess I have someone on my side after all.
"so what song will it be?" Jonghyun asked.
I closed my eyes thinking as hard as I could to remember a song on the ipod. Then I started to sing the song called romantic with my eyes still closed. Beleve it or not from the memory i still have of the past three years i have never sang. I havent been able to listen to music much at all and i've just never really tried.
I finished and opened my eyes, to my surprize everyone was just staring at me in silence. Then Jonghyun just walked out without saying a word. The other four guys started clapping but before I could enjoy there praise I became very weak. I looking around for a chair and sat down as fast as I could. I guess a didn't realize I haven't eaten in days.
"Are you ok?" Taemin asked worried.
" yeah I'm just a bit hungry." I said.
"You haven't eaten?" Key asked.
"No"
Another guy who was really tall came up to me and held my wrist taking my pluse. Then he felt my face in different places, did i really look that bad? As I studied him I finally came up with his name, Minho.
"You don't look to healthy, when's the last time you've eaten?" He sounded worried.
"ummmmm.... three days, maybe?" I guessed because I really don't remember, I was to busy with other things. I also had to quit my job about a week before so I was out of money.
He locked his arm in mine and helped me up, Key and Taemin both came over to my other side. Then I realized the fourth guy wasnt in the room with us anymore, he must have left while I was sitting.
"Let's go get you some food before you become nothing." Minho said smiling at me and I smiled back.
I never thought about how hungry I was, I was really happy to get food with other people too. I've never had any friends these past three years so I have no idea what its like.
~Taemin P.O.V.~
We took Chungji to a nice restrant down the street and told her to order as much as she wanted since she hasnt eaten in so long. It made me wonder if she just has bad aubusive parents or she was really poor and homless, this made me want to help her a lot.
"I dont want to sound nosey or anything but are you in trouble? Since you haven't eaten in so long, if you tell us we can try to help you." I said.
"Its ok you don't need to worry about me, I just forgot to eat that's all." She said.
I knew that wasnt the whole story by the way she spoke, something wasnt right.
"Can you tell us where your from?" Key asked.
"I don't know." She said.
"Who are your parents? What kind of jobs do they have?"
"I don't know."
"Do you know anything?"
"No"
"Stop messing with me, how do you not know anything?"
" Key just stop." I said.
Only Minho talked to Chungji the rest of the night, he talked about things she liked and disliked. She likes our music, any food, and friendly people. She dislikes the dark, small places, and of course Jonghyun haha. When we got back to the our room i told her that the top bunk was hers.
"Cant we leave a little light on?" She asked softly.
"Sure" i said back and plugged in a small night light.
She went up to her bed and fell asleep in about two minutes without changing into pjs. I looked at her asleep for a while thinking of what her past might be.
