The four went to the closet café and sat in the farthest corner. “So, what’s your age?” Tae Ryu asked. He picked up his drink and took a long sip. “I’m sixteen.” Daejin quietly said. “I’m eighteen. Ji Guk is seventeen.” Hye Yong said. “I guess I’m the oldest. I’m nineteen.” Tae Ryu sighed. He looked up at the ceiling and closed his eyes. “Tae Tae oppa!” Il Min squealed and hugged him from behind. “Il Min! What the hell is wrong with you!?” Tae Ryu yelled. Everyone in the café looked at Tae Ryu. “Sorry oppa. I heard from Yongguk oppa that you’re in a group now.” Il Min smiled. “Excuse me? May I have a muffin? I don’t care which one it is, I eat everything.” Mae Ryu called out to the cashier. She put her work uniform on Tae Ryu’s lap and went to get the muffin. “Thank you.” Mae Ryu bowed. “Hi, do you know him?” Hye Yong asked. “Yeah. He’s my twin brother Shim Tae Ryu. Name’s Mae Ryu. I work at Cupcake City. Come anytime. I’ll see you later, I’m late.” Mae Ryu kissed Tae Ryu on the cheek and walked out of the café. “Bye Tae Tae.” Il Min winked and walked out. They looked at Tae Ryu strangely. “Family. You either love them or hates them.” Tae Ryu shrugged.

“You’re fault for sleeping in unnie!” Il Min laughed. “Shut up Il Min. I didn’t sleep in. You’re the one who decided to go stupid hospital. Gosh you’re annoying.” Mae Ryu scoffed. “Mianhae unnie.” Il Min smiled. “Why do I hang out with you? I really need new friends.” Mae Ryu said under her breath. Thirty minutes later the girls arrived at Cupcake City. “Hi sir! I hope we’re not late.” Mae Ryu lifted a brow. “Nope. You’re ten minutes early for your shift. Now go get ready.” The owner smiled. Il Min and Mae Ryu look at each and grinned. They ran into the women’s change room and quickly changed into their uniforms. “Hello and welcome to Cupcake City. My name is Mae Ryu and I’ll be your server for the rest of the afternoon. Here’s hoping I don’t pass out in sixty minutes.” Mae Ryu smiled as she left the change room. Il Min walked into the kitchen laughing her head off. Mae Ryu glared at Il Min as she walked towards to the farthest table. “Saranghae unnie. Fighting.” Il Min smiled. She walked into the kitchen and winked at Mae Ryu. “I swear she has a major problem.” Mae Ryu mumbled to herself.

“Yes sir. Right away sir. Two servings of Hwajeon and one serving of our Rainbow Road Cupcake. Ten minutes.” Il Min said. “Hurry Il Min! We need to get it out!” The chief yelled. “Five minutes chief. All we need is five minutes.” Il Min cried out. Il Min started to breathe hard and sweat even more than usual in the kitchen. “It’s been five minutes. Is the order ready?” Chief asked. “Done and decorated.” Il Min raised her arms in the air. She closed her eyes tightly and walked to the side. “Are you okay sweetheart?” Chief asked. “I feel awful right now. I can’t breathe properly and my head hurts.” Il Min coughed. “Mae Ryu, those are for table 2. You can figure out you has what right?” Chief laughed. “Yes chief I can.” Mae Ryu smiled and left the kitchen. “Dad, I don’t know what’s wrong. I had gone to the hospital before coming. The doctors said that it might be serious.” Il Min sighed. “I’ll drop you off at home once I’m finished with lunch. Sit here kiddo and rest.” Chief patted Il Min’s hair and walked off. “You must be Chief Chae Suk.” a strange man said as he walked into the kitchen. “Yes I am. Who are you exactly?” Chief asked. Il Min got up and slowly walked to her father’s side.
