Don't Worry

“Don’t worry ajumma. Zayne will be okay. I’ve been through this as well.” Wayne said. He opened his laptop and went through his e-mail. “Bayne look at this. Zayne e-mailed me this morning.” Wayne chuckled. “Bout what?” Bayne asked. “Our new YouTube account. He did an amazing job. Come look.” Wayne smiled. Bayne got up from his seat next to his mom and sat beside Wayne. “Our faces are on the header. He have a video already. Click on it.” Bayne pointed to the screen. Wayne clicked on the video and let it play. “I remember that. It’s when we went to the zoo with our second grade class. Zayne loved the wolves.” Bayne laughed. “And you were in loved the elephants.” Wayne laughed even harder. It was pretty much all the memories of their time together from the first day they had met till a week ago. All the good times and the bad, they had stood together for all these years. “Zayne is actually really thoughtful. He cares about us.” Bayne said. “You’re an idiot Bayne.” Wayne coldly responded. “Miss Kim your son is going to be okay. He is recovering right now. If you follow me please.” Nurse Tookie said. She looked at Bayne and Wayne oddly. “What? Haven’t you seen two guys hug before?” Wayne scoffed. “No, I haven’t.” Nurse Tookie said. She quickly turned away and escorted Mama Kim to the room that Zayne is currently at.

“My baby.” Mama Kim gently rubbed Zayne’s forehead. “Umma. Is that you?” Zayne mumbled. “Ne my baby. It’s me. Be strong for your friends. They need you to be strong.” Mama Kim smiled. Zayne slowly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling. “Hey doc. When can I get out? I have school in three weeks.” Zayne sat up. “I’m going to keep you another day to run some tests Zayne.” Dr. White looked at the papers. “Araso. Kamsahamnida ajoshi.” Zayne dozed off. “I should go. I’ll tell everyone that he is fine.” Mama Kim kissed Zayne’s forehead and left for the waiting room. “Ajumma! Is he okay?” Bayne asked. “Yes he’s fine. He’ll be out tomorrow. We should go home now.” Mama Kim smiled shyly. “Okay. In the meantime, I need to write another song. I only got four done so far. The album is not finished yet.” Wayne closed his laptop and stood up. He took off his glasses and put them it the light blue case. “I outta start dancing then. Let’s go.” Bayne nodded. “Let’s go.” Papa Park smiled. “Come Sundae. We’re going home now.” Wayne sighed. During the car ride, Wayne was busy typing lyrics for a new song while Bayne was sleeping soundly.
