The New King

"Princess. It's time for you to eat." Minho said. "Okay. Come on in and bring me my food." Maki sat up from her bed. Minho entered the room with two servants who holding trays of food. "Thank you. You may leave now. Minho, you stay here." Ma Ki coldly said. "Yes princess." the servants bowed and left the room. "Come and eat with me. I can't simply eat all this food by myself." Maki cocked her head to the side. "Are you sure princess?" Minho asked. "Yes I am Minho. Come and sit." Maki smiled. Minho bowed and sat down beside Maki. "We're coming in princess." Maru called from behind the door. "Come in." Maki called back between bites. "I need your help. All the maids and eunuchs are going to plan the ceremony for me to become king and I want you to help them." Maru said. "I'll do it. Anything to help." Maki took a spoonful of rice. Maru, Ji Yong and Yug Yeom gave Ma Ki a confused look.

A month later, the crowning ceremony was about to happen. Yug Yeom, Ji Yong and Min Ho were standing behind Maki and Maru. The ceremony went on for the entire morning up until high noon. "Thank you for coming. I promise to bring back the peace across our land." Ma Ru stood up. The crowd cheered and bowed for him. After the ceremony, Maki went into the local market and looked at the hanboks for sale. "I really like that blue and pink one. It's beautiful." Maki gaped. "This one. It's nothing princess." the owner blushed. "How much is it ajumma?" Maki asked. "It's 20 silver pieces." the owner looked at it. "Here is 20 silver pieces for the blue and pink hanbok." Maki said as she went through her coin purse. "Let me wrap it up for you." the owner rushed for the hanbok and some wrapping paper. "Thank you ajumma. I hope everything works out for your shop." Maki bowed. Maki walked off and headed back to the palace slowly.
