~Author's POV~

Everyone except L, Sungjong and Mi Cha were busy. Being friends with idols, dancers (the twins, Kai and Lay) and people who travel a lot (EXO) makes it tough to hang out often. Sometimes you just forget about them for the time being. But at the end of the day, you can't help but send a text to them. No matter how busy they are, you will always miss them, wishing they were able to be with you during the tough and fun times.

-Few Days Later-

L, Sungjong and Mi Cha were heading out to get some frozen yogurt since everyone was busy again. L ordered the frozen yogurt while Sungjong and Mi Cha were sitting outside waiting. "Here's yours." L gives the strawberry one to Mi Cha and gives Sungjong the lemon one.
"Why do I have to get lemon?" Sungjong whines.
"Because you're Lemon Candy. And lemon candies should have lemons. If a lemon had strawberry, it'll be lemon-strawberry and not just lemon. Understand?" Mi Cha tries to hold in her laughter. What kind of logic is that? Sungjong just pouts.
"Aigoo, here. Have mine. I've never had lemon before." Mi Cha hands her fro-yo to Sungjong but he pushed it back.
"No, it's fine. I just wanted to see what L would say."
"Okay.. But can I have a taste?" Without using her spoon, she licks Sungjong's fro-yo before he could answer.

~L's POV~

I'll admit it. I am jealous that Mi Cha licked Sungjong's frozen yogurt. What about me? When we were little, I used to always buy her ice cream, so I knew her favourite flavours were strawberry and chocolate. So I purposely bought myself the chocolate one, hoping that she would remember something about us. After finishing our frozen yogurt, we decided to teach Mi Cha how to ride a skateboard.

~Your POV~

"Guys, I'm pretty sure I know how to ride a skateboard. It seems pretty easy." I get on the skateboard and push off.
"You see? I'm fi-" the board started to wiggle and I lost my balance. I shut my eyes and wait for me to fall on the ground. I squint and I see Sungjong's face in front of mine. I look down and realize he's holding onto my waist. I jump onto my feet and turn to him.
"Thanks for catching me."
"No problem." He smiles shyly. He's pretty cute when he smiles. I can understand why children love him.

~Sungjong's POV~

Phew! I'm glad I caught her in time. Mi Cha opens her eyes and stares at me. My heart starts to beat faster. I never noticed how pretty she was up close.
"Thanks for catching me." She smiles.
"No problem." I smile back but face the ground. Her smile is super pretty as well. I place my hand over my chest. It was beating faster than ever. Why is it beating so fast? I don't understand, I haven't felt this way since that day I saw that girl crying at the hospital.
"So what do you want to do next?" Mi Cha asks while she slowly rides on the skateboard. She finally was able to keep her balance after a few tries, but still fell off sometimes.
"I don't know. Is there anything you want to do?" L said.
"Hmm.. Not really.. What about you Sungjong?"
"Huh? Oh uh.. No." Mi Cha stares at me.
"Are you okay? You've been like that since you caught me."
"I'm fine, I just have some stuff on my mind."
"What kind of stuff?" Mi Cha continues staring at me.
"Ahem.. Let's go do something instead of interrogating Sungjong." L says. Thank you, L. You saved me.

~L's POV~

Mi Cha kept looking at Sungjong, completely ignoring my existence. My heart ached, I'm not sure why though. I'm not becoming an overprotective cousin am I? I looked at Sungjong. I knew he was feeling nervous, but at the same time, he looked happy. The way he's looking at Mi Cha was different. He was smiling more brightly. Maybe it was just me but it also seemed like he's been constantly trying to get Mi Cha's attention.. It's just my imagination right? We decided to head back to Mi Cha's apartment since it was getting really hot out. We went inside and lied down on the floor. Mi Cha went to the kitchen and got us some icy cold drinks.
"I should turn on the A/C right?"
"You have an A/C? Lucky.. Our dorm doesn't. All we have are 2 fans." She laughed.
"I'll be right back. I need to change out of these sweaty clothes. Why don't you guys go back and change as well?"
"Sure, why not. We'll be back in a few minutes." I grab Sungjong and push him out the door. We headed back and the other members were sitting in the living room.
"Where have you been?" Sunggyu asked while hugging my jukbu-in (Bamboo wife).
"At Mi Cha's house. We're going to get changed and head back. Do you want to come?" "There's A/C in there~" Sungjong added.
"Seriously?!" They shouted in sync.
"Yeah.."
"Hurry up and get changed. It's so hot in here!" Sungyeol and Woohyun shouted at us. We headed over to Mi Cha's house and rang the doorbell. No answer.. We tried again. Still no answer..
"Um.. I'll call her." I dial her number and after 2-3 rings, she picked up.
"Hello?" It was noisy on her end.
"Where are you? Aren't you at home?"
"Uh.. I'm at the supermarket. I wanted to get a watermelon. Which reminds me, do you know how to make subak hwachae?"
"Yeah."
"Good. I'll be back soon. Is there anything you want?"
"No not really. By the way, the others are here as well."
"L, hurry up! It's hot out here." Dongwoo yelled.
"You know where the spare key is right?"
"No.. Where is it?"
"It's under the flower pot. Just let yourselves in, I'll be back really quick."
"Okay, bye."
"There's a spare key under the flower pot. She said she'll be back soon. Lets go in." We headed into the nice and cool apartment and waited for Mi Cha to come back.
