Ah-ri
I wake up with a humongous headache. I sit up, looking around my room, but I'm not in my room. Suddenly it hits me, appa, the kidnapping. Wait, what's going to happen to me now that I'm at the mercy of Evil Eomma? I look down at my hands that are shaking. The door opens and I pull the blankets up to my chest and Lay walks in. I relax and look at him, "Oh, you're awake now?" "Where am I?" I ask him, waving my arm at the room. "Oh, we decided to take you to our dorms instead of your house. We didn't think you'd be treated well if you went back there looking like this." He motions to me and I look down at myself, realizing that I must be a mess. "But you should probably go back home, it's been two days since you're kidnapping." I squeak. "I'd been out that long?" I rub my eyes and the door opens, Luhan and Xiumin peeking in. "She's awake!" Xiumin yells and the room is suddenly filled with all the Exo members. "Thanks for saving me." I reply and try to stand up but fall back onto the bed. "Ah, right, you haven't eaten for two days. Chanyeol, go grab some breakfast." Lay says and I'm presented with a plate of eggs, toast and bacon. Eating it, I finish in a minute or so. Something whispers at my conscious and I look around, trying to find the place it's coming from. Suddenly, thousands of voices fill my head and I grab it, trying to quiet them down. Luhan steps forward and says "She's just come into her powers after the trauma." He puts his hands on the sides of my head and I can feel him pushing the voices back like he were security. I sigh in relief, and he says Next time that happens, just pretend you are in there and you're pushing them away. If you're looking for someone specific, it's like looking through a crowd. I nod and look back up at them and hear a collective gasp. "Mwuh? What is it?" "Uh, before we tell you, go wash up, our manager found you clean clothes to wear when you wake up." Chen says and hands me a bundle of clothes. They all point to the door across the room and I carefully stand up, going there. After I dry myself off, I pull on the clothes and look at myself in the mirror. I looked so thin and pale, although I could tell that the color was coming back into my skin. Looking close at my face, I look at my eyes and almost scream. Instead of just those dull colors, they'd turned from dull, to bright and full of life.

I notice something on my neck underneath my hair, so I brush it aside and my jaw drops. I'd gained some weird looking tattoo during my kidnapping. It was a mix of a sun, lightning, and an open book. How the hell am I going to go to school like this? I look down at the clothes that the manager had found for me and I snicker. He'd gotten me an outfit I'd seen in one of the store windows I walk past. It was jean short and a loose fitting sheer shirt with a camisole underneath and the shoes were black Jordans. I sigh as I step back into the room, drying my hair and find them still sitting around, messing with each other. I'd carefully style my hair to cover my neck tattoo and just in case, covered it with a bandage. "Can I go home now?" I ask and they all stand up. "Yeah, let's so." Sehun says, grabbing my hand. "Wait, you guys are coming with me? You don't have to." Tao grabs my other hand, "We want to, now let us." I'm pulled along to a large van and we all pile in, the manager driving us to my home. I cautiously go inside with Exo at my heels. "Is that you, you little whore?" Evil Eomma's voice screeches from the kitchen. I swallow and make sure that the colored contacts that I'd gotten on the way were in. Stepping into the kitchen, I'm overwhelmed by the smell of alcohol, perfume and burnt things. "Deh, it's me, I just got out of the hospital." "Clean my room and the living room. After that, go get all the things that you didn't get in the two days you weren't here." She looks at me with clouded eyes. "Get off your ass and do something you slut!" I step out of the kitchen and take a deep breath, trying to get that intolerable stench out of my system. I notice Exo standing there and whisper for them to wait in the game room. Exo-M leads the way and I quickly go upstairs into appa's bedroom, pulling up the loose floorboard under his bed and grabbing his will. Going back to my room, I put it in my schoolbag and hide the schoolbag well. I quickly do the things that Evil and now Drunk Eomma wants me to do and I tell her I'm going to apply for my school. She ignores me and I go and get Exo. Outside, their manager asks me if I need a ride and I thank him, but tell him to go my appa's lawyer office, giving him the address. I arrive and tell them to wait in the car. Walking in, I ask for him and am led to an office, being told to sit down for a minute. A couple minutes later, a man walks in and greets me. "You must be Song Ah-ri, your father is one of my best friends. With what do I ow the pleasure?" His eyes drop to the manila envelope in my hand and his smile falls away. "When?" He asks and I will the tears away. "Three days ago." "Give me the will," He says and I do, watching him open it. "You're father left you..."
