Luhan
One of those old ladies at the company had invited Exo-M to another lame party of theirs, but this time our manager was making us go, because that lady was having this party was an important part of the company. We were all in another van, driving to the house, when our manager slams on the breaks, causing us all to lurch forward. "Ya!" Me and Tao yell. We lean forward to see what he'd hit and I quickly slap the manager's head. "You just hit someone you dope!" The girl slowly sat up with a look of pain, her blood was already staining the road. She sees her watch and gets up very fast, fighting the wave of dizziness, grabbing the pastel box on the ground and runs off. The manager starts driving the car as me and Tao inform the rest of Exo-M what had just happened. When we get to the house, we stare in awe at it. I definitely would want this type of house when I had more money. We get to the door and it opens, allowing us to walk inside. A maid show us to the living room on the left and we all start pigging out on the cakes. The cakes, to be honest, were really good and my favorite was the fruit tart type thing. But what really got to me was the maid. When I sat down on one of the couches, I'd noticed her standing my the door. She was covered in bandages, but was doing everything that our host was telling her to do. "Don't you have a stepdaughter?" Someone asks our host and she laughs it off. "I do, but she's overseas." She quickly goes over to the maid and tells her something, handing her a sheet of paper with things written on it. The maid walks towards something behind me, and I see it was the girl that the manager had almost run over. Her face is serene, but her eyes were filled with a fire that told me she hated her employer. I nudge Kris and he notices her, and we both watch her go into another room. We tell the others and we wait for her to come out for another hour, milling around and occasionally talking to the older workers. The maid finally comes out and tells our host something. Our host announces dinner and we quickly follow her to a humongous dining room, hoping for some food for our stomachs. The maid comes out with lots of plates and serves them to each of us, before leaving. We eat the food as fast as we can before excusing ourselves and finding the room that the maid had gone into, the kitchen. She'd just finished eating a sandwich and Tao taps her shoulder, making her jump and spin around. "Who are you?" She asks and we look back at her, surprised that she doesn't know Exo. "I'm Luhan." I introduce myself and everyone else follows suit. "We're sorry that our manager hit you earlier." Lay motions to her injuries. "Oh, it's okay. I didn't die, plus I wasn't looking. Don't blame him." She says and quickly cleans up her plate, washing it. "Do you have anywhere in this house more interesting than the living room?" Lay suddenly asks her and Xiumin kicks the back of his legs. "Like how?" She looks at us. "Game room? Something with more color?" Tao's eyes light up as he suggests them. The maid sighs and nods, waving at us to follow her. She leads us down into a basement and we find ourselves in a humongous arcade-like game room thing. "Wa~" Chen gasps and Tao runs up to the punching machine thing, me and Xiumin follow him. "Holy shit! The high score on this thing is nine-hundred!" Xiumin says and the maid snickers. "Did that lady's husband do this?" Tao asks and the maid starts laughing. "He didn't, I did." We stare at her, not believing it. "It's true, dad doesn't have enough strength to get that high of a score. He can maybe get seven-hundred on his best days." "But that lady said her step-daughter was overseas.." Chen wonders and she looks at him. "Shows you how much she hates me, to lie about me right in front of my face." I wave at her and she looks at me. "Hey, I saw earlier that you looked like you wanted to punch something, give it a try again, you might get it even higher." She shrugs and we back up, allowing her some space. She stares straight at the punching bag, pressing start, and suddenly she leaps forward, hitting it with so much force that it rattled. We watched the meter rise up rapidly and it stops at nine-hundred and eighty-nine points. "Wa~" Tao says and steps back a little. We all disperse to go explore the arcade, but I decide to see what the girl is thinking about. I creep towards her mind and am about to go in when something shoves me back, I almost flinch but keep my face straight. "What's your name?" I ask her and the host suddenly yells down the stairs, "Ah-ri, you slut, where the hell did you go! Clean up the living room, someone dropped some cake on the floor. After that, go get my cosmetics from the store and then organize my vanity room!" The door at the top of the stairs slams and we all look at her. She hits the start button on the punching machine and hits it one more time before going upstairs. I look at everyone and we silently agree, following Ah-ri up the stairs quietly.
