~Moon Ri's POV~
I tried to end this marriage, but I couldn't. Not that my parents didn't listen to me, I couldn't tell them about that. Just before I say anything to my mom her sentence "Darling, you can't imagine how much happy I am now~ Luhan can change everything" stopped me!
Well, Luhan has a good image and Mom always says that now she can die without any concerns because Luhan will take care of me even better than how she and dad did. I didn't want to ruin her happiness and I won't. I have decided. If this is what makes my parents happy, I will just pretend Luhan and I have a wonderful life! This won't be hard to me of course. I can live a wonderful life even if I have to be the wife of that thing, LUHAN!
These days even with this marriage are nice. I received a letter from the Art University this morning. I was accepted and I will be going there from 2 weeks later on. This could not be any better and thanks to Luhan, now I don't have to worry about the South Star any more!!
I stopped thinking and went back to continue painting Sam. I had no other thing to paint except her!
The phone rang. I waited a little but no body picked it up. So I went to the phone which was in my room and picked it up. Just before I say something, mom picked up the phone from downstairs too. I wanted to hang up but then something caught my attention. It was Mrs.Lu on the other line.
My eyes widened. Since that day I didn't see any of the Lu's. I didn't also talk to them. But how come Mrs.Lu is calling this time in the afternoon?
My curiosity didn't let me to hang up. So I stayed quiet and listened to them. First they were talking about some stuff.I was getting bored but suddenly their conversation turned about me and Luhan!
Mrs.Lu: I think they need a little bonding. They are going to get marry soon.
Mom: You're right. They don't seem comfortable together.
Mrs.Lu: Why don't they go on a date?
Mom : Oh~yeah! Why haven't I thought about that? That's great!
Mrs.Lu : So I will tell Luhan to meet her today.
Mom: I'm gonna tell Moon Ri that too.
Mrs.Lu: So I'll hang up first!

What the f**k is that date? I will never ever go on a date with that Luhan!
"Moon Ri-ah ?" Mom called me from downstairs. I put the phone down. I am not going to go on the date with Luhan!
"Moon Ri-ah???" Mom called again. She was coming to my room.
I looked around to find a place to hide. But no! She knows me too well! I bet she'll look every single square inch of my room to find me!
Her step sounds were getting close and closer. I looked around and saw the window. It was the only way to escape. I grabbed my cell phone and purse and placed them in my jeans pocket. I looked down from the window. I have run away from the window for a thousand time. So it was easy for me to jump.It was 5 meters far from the ground but I first clung to the trunk of the tree which was exactly beside my window. Then closed the window behind me so silently to clean any clues which could give me away.
I go down from the tree. When my feet touched the ground, I sighed in relief. It was near! Going on a date with Luhan was near!
I went out of the house as quietly as I could. When I got to the main street, my phone started to ring.It was mom.
"Yes mom?"
"Where are you? when did you go out? I didn't see you? Wherever you are come back here immediately!" She said excitedly.
"Why?"
"Just come home now!"
"I can't. I'm somewhere out of the city ?"
"What??? What are you doing there?" Mom asked.her angry side was getting down.
"I am just walking around. The air is so clean and perfect here" I breathed deeply, but all I could smell was smoke and dust!
"Where are you now exactly?"
"Why are you asking that?" What was she going to do? "You look so strange today!"
"Just text me your exact location!" Then she hung up!
It was so clear. She was going to tell Luhan to meet me there! What's worse than this! My plan failed so easily!
Now what is plan B?

I did not even have a B plan.
I had to admit! I lost this time and if I don't get out of the city immediately, it could get worse!
I took a taxi to out of the town and texted my mom the address I was going.
I had never felt this much disappointed!
~ In the Jungle park, Out of the town~
I drank a sip of my coffee and watched the children running around and their parents following them. Such a sweet view will be ruined by that Luhan soon! I have to enjoy it as much as I can.
And yes! Soon that happened.
"Hello" Luhan sat beside me on the bench. I didn't bother to answer him. He waved his hand in front of my face and again said "Hello~~"
"You are destroying my view" I said annoyed.
He pulled back his hand."You are not surprised to see me here?"
"Do I look surprised?"
"Mom said you don't know I am coming here"
"I didn't know till my mom asked me to send her my location so strangely!" I breathed deeply and took my eyes off the children and looked at him. My eyes widened slightly when I saw him. He was wearing a black suit and seemed so handsome while he was smiling at children. I just couldn't took my eyes off him.
He turned his face and looked at me "What?"
I swallowed and looked away "You want coffee?"
"I drank one already" he said and again turned his face to the children."What a nice weather!" He took one deep breath.
"You were at work? " I asked.
"Yeah" he said "Why?"
"Because of your suit" I said simply.
"You're kind today" He said.
My eyes widen. I looked at him "I always am. It just depends on that if the one's treatment deserves it or not!"
"I deserve it today?" He asked.
"Maybe yes if you think I'm kind now"
An awkward silence started after that.I waited a little maybe he wanted to say something but he didn't.
I stood up "I am going first"
"What? I already got here!" He said.
"You can go back to work! No need to waste your time here" I said simply.
"I came from Seoul to here for this damn date and now I can't come back to work, Mom will kill me if she finds out I didn't go on a date with you" He said.
"Then go some where else and have some rest, I will tell them we had a wonderful date!" I said and walked away.
"Ya, where are you going?" he shouted afterward, but I didn't respond. It was because simply I was not in the mood.
He suddenly appeared in front of me. I stopped walking.
"I said where are you going?" He asked in a very calm voice. Too calm that was making me to answer him in the same kind way but I didn't.
"None of your business" I walked away again. He didn't stop me this time. I sighed in relief and without looking behind, started going to the exit gate of the park. I did not really had a place to go. I just didn't like that awkward silence there!
"Hey, can you make time?" I looked up and saw a tall stranger guy standing in my way. Why would I make time for a stranger?
Without hesitation,I turned my way and kept on walking.
"It won't take long, I just need you to listen to me" The guy again stopped me.
I rolled my eyes. Boys these days! They don't care where they meet a girl. Just when a girl catch their eyes,they think it means she must be theirs! And bad thing I'm one of the girls who pervert boys always want and well, I have got used to that.
I passed by him again."Take it easy, hm?" he gripped my wrist.
I tried to shake him off but he didn't let go of my hand. "Take your disgusting hand off me" I said calmly and pushed him away.
He let go of my wrist but instead he put his arms around my waist and pulled me in.
What the heck? How did he dare? I hadn't seen this before.
"Don't touch me!" I shouted and pushed him away with all my strength but It didn't even move him.
I was starting to get nervous.I was not ever touched by any guy and YES! No body was around in the park.
"Let go of me!" I shouted once more hoping he would let go but he didn't. All he did was pulling me closer!
I have to admit, I got so scared just when he started moving his hand down. I didn't expect myself to be this scared.It was so far from me but I still did.This was not a joke at all.
But just when I was starting to give up, he let go of me.
Yes! He did let go of me. And when I opened my eyes to see what's happened, I saw that same thing! My eyes widened by the scene I was seeing!
Luhan had grabbed that pervert's collar "Who do you think you are touching?" he punched that boy on his face and that was the start of kicking his everywhere!
I could not move. I was too scared, not by what that guy did to me, but by the Luhan I was seeing. In the whole 18 years of my life, I had not seen Luhan in that side of his! I always thought of Luhan as a man who just knows to sit behind a desk. This Luhan was so shocking and scary!
The boy ran away, without even waiting to kick Luhan back! Luhan chased after him some steps but when the guy was out of sight,He turned back to me. I was still standing in the same position.
"Did he do anything to you? " He asked.
I was too shocked and scared and surprised to answer.
"Did he touch you?" He asked louder. His loudness scared me even more. I shook my head slightly.
"Are you okay?" He asked again and checked me from head to toe. I didn't say anything.
When he was done checking he looked up at me. He opened his mouth to say something but then he stopped. I think he was not expecting to see me cry!
~~LuHan's POV~~
I was not expecting to see tears all over her cheeks. She was crying! Not that I cared, I just didn't know she had this side of her!
I sighed to calm my anger down."Let's go home" I said and grabbed her wrist and dragged her to my car which was parking some meters away. I was driving back when I saw that f**king pervert hugging her.
I opened the passenger seat door for her.she got in. I went to the driver seat and started the engine.
"Fasten your seat belt" I said and she obeyed silently. The way her face looked scared made my heart beating fast. Maybe It was just because she looked so innocent!
The ride to their house was silent and when we got there, without any words she got off the car and ran to the door. I knew what was going to happen inside. Mrs.lee would get worried to death if she saw her daughter in that face and the worse thing was that I was the last one who was with her and she would call it all my fault!
I went to the door and rang the bell. The door opened immediately. Mrs.Lee was the one who opened that.
"Oh~ Luhan, what happened to her?" She asked. I was right, she was about to have a heart attack.
"Please calm down Umma, you don't have to worry. I will explain everything."
That word "Umma" did a miracle to Mrs.Lee. I knew she would believe whatever I say If I call her that.
"Luhan, I was about to die when I saw her face, good thing it is just a misunderstanding!" She sighed in relief!
Misunderstanding? What? Where did that come from?
"These things happen between young couple anyway" she smiled.
"Oh~" It was the only sound that could come from out of my mouth! I did not even had to lie about what happened any more thanks to that wonderful word "Umma"!!
"Come on in, let's have some coffee!" She opened the door wider.
"Thanks but I have to go now, I will talk to her later" I smiled politely.
"Okay, I don't force you to have coffee with an old woman like me!" She laughed. I bowed in respect and left!
What a way to end this day!
~~Moon Ri's POV~~
"Ya, don't tell me you fell for him this easily" Sam shouted on the phone.
I sighed "I didn't say I've fallen for him, I just said I liked that side of him"
"Look, every single guy is protective and possessive, it's in their genes"
"But you must see how worried he seemed. Why would a guy worry about a random girl this much? I bet he likes me!" I closed my eyes to emphasize. Although I knew she cannot see that!
"Idiot, it doesn't mean he loves you.You are his fiancé after all!"
"Whatever!"
"Just be yourself, you are acting different. You had never make me talk to you about a boy for 1 hour and 36 minutes!" She said.
"Look who I am consulting! I'll hang up" I hang up immediately.
I rolled in my bed. I could not stop thinking about what happened today. I just couldn't wash Luhan with that worried face out of my mind.
I grabbed my phone and found Luhan's number in my contact list. I had Luhan's number since 2 years ago, when my dad asked me to lend him my phone to call him, because his own phone's battery was dead.
After a little thinking I called him. I knew it would be so awkward but sooner or later I had to call him.
After a few seconds he picked up.
"Hello"
"Hello. U-uh this is me, Moon Ri" There were a small silence "How are you?" I said.
"I'm fine, thanks."
"Glad to hear that" I tried to be as formal as I can "Luhan-ssi, I'm sorry about what happened today. I did not-"
"It was not your fault" He interrupted. "It's fine"
"I'm sorry I didn't even thank you"
"I understand. It was not really anything that you want to thank about. there is no reason to mention it.I mean it." He reassured.
"Uh~ But thank you any way. It would've been horrible if you were not around"
"Just be careful next time." He said.
"Thank you, I'll hang up first"
I threw my phone on the bed and hugged my pillow tightly.
I was smiling like an idiot!
How can a human be this nice ?
