Days Thereafter

This was the last thing I was expecting.

“It’s ok oppa, really, you were just a little too drunk, happens to the best of us.” J-Hope just looks at me with a pouty face, then breaks into aegyo.

“You accept my apology then?” He pulls an apple from his pocket. (In Korean, apple and apology sound similar)

“You're so cheesy, but yes, I accept.” I grab the apple from his hand and take a big bite, smiling and chewing at him.

“Ah, Hyung! Do I get an apology too? I’m hungry!” yells someone from around the corner. Jimin comes up and slings his arm around J-Hope’s shoulder. He looks so happy and smiley that I smile too. Then he looks at me and puts on a serious face.

“Hey, shouldn't you give me one of those too?”

“An apple? Don’t they have a cafeteria here or something?”

“That’s not what I’m talking about.”

“An apology? Why?”

This is a joke right? What did I do that I should apologize for??

“Yah, you can't tell the difference between a glass of water from soju. How do you think you got to bed last night? You downed that cup in no time. If it weren't for me Mr. and Mrs. Kim would’ve found you on the Kitchen floor.”

Oh God! I’m so stupid!! Of course nothing between us happened last night! He had to carry me- HE HAD TO CARRY ME!!! OH MY GOD I MUST'VE BEEN HEAVY!!

My face started to burn, and the fire spread to my ears and chest. I can’t even look up at him anymore.

“I-I’m sorry. I don't know what else to say except sorry.”

“Aw, look how red you are, how cute!” J-Hope says while tussling my hair.

“How about, instead of apologizing and turning red, you have to come here everyday, we’re here. If you have to study, bring that too. Okay?” Jimin seems happy about his idea.

“Araso.” I say softly. We all walk into the studio, everybody is laying around in the middle of the room. J-Hope and Jimin join in and I just stand there awkwardly.

Jin looks up and motions me to sit between him and Suga. I sit there and stretch out my legs.

“So, what are you hungry for?” Jin looks over at me.

“Chicken!” “No, lets get some Jajangmyun!” “Aniya! We had that last time! Lets get Pizza!” It seems like a war is about to ensue over the dinner menu.

“Yah! I was asking her, not you guys! This is for her.” Jin bellows over the other members.

Jungkook groans and lays on his back.

“Is it because noona’s cuter than me? I’ll do aegyo! I'll do it this time hyung!”

“No, I promised her I would buy her something yummy, I can't eat with her at lunch anymore, for a while at least.”

“So are you going to buy for her everytime she comes?” Jimin says with a smile.

“Of course! That’s how it should be!” Jin responds

“Looks like we won't be spending anything on dinner during this promotion, Jimin made her promise to come everyday we're here.” J-Hopes says. He lays back resting his head on his folded arms.

I look over at Jin, he looks a little shocked, but just smiles a little smug smile. Then he puts his arm around me.

“If I'm going to spend money on you all the time, we should just date.”
