Days Thereafter

You wake up still a little flustered from the events of last night, but you also looked forward to having someone to at least talk to at lunch. You get ready and out into the living room. Mr. and Mrs. Kim greet you and get breakfast ready for you, you thank them and leave. No sign of V at all. You walk out to the street, studying the directions Mr. Kim gave you when you notice a figure waiting by the gate.

“I thought I could walk you to Yonsei since, you’re new to the neighborhood, and I’m your oppa. I have to make sure no one tries to steal you!” V says playfully.

“Okay, but don’t you have school too?”

“Ani, I’m taking a break. I’m focusing on music right now.”

“Oh, well I guess that makes sense.” I nod along

“So… about last night… I noticed something in the air last night..” he smiles. Oh my God, he saw everything.

“What did you and Jin hyung talk about exactly?”

“W-what? Jin?”

“Yeah, after you said you were tired, there was quite a lot of noise in there, hehe.” His laughing only makes me red.

“We just talked about Yonsei. That’s it.”

“Okay then…” By that time we finally reached Yonsei. I wait by the giant sculpture, and text Jin.

“Thanks for walking me here V oppa”

“It’s no problem, do you want me to come pick you up after class?”

“Ani, I’ll be okay, but thank you anyways!”

V leaves and the only thing left for me to do is to wait for Jin. It seems like forever so I end up sending an email to Megan. God I miss her so much.

Finally Jin arrives and we make our way around campus and he shows me where all my classes are and where to meet him for lunch. My classes weren’t too difficult and the first part of the day went by fairly quickly.

Lunch was surprisingly nice; Jin took me to the university cafe. There wasn’t a lot to talk about but we got to know each other a lot more.

“Aren’t I taking time away from the people you eat with?” I was curious on whether I ws nuisance or not.

“I don’t usually eat with anyone, unless some of the Bang Tan members come by.”

“Don’t you get lonely?” It seemed like he was nice, I wonder why he doesn’t have any friends?

He takes a sip of his coffee then looks at me.

“Yea, It gets lonely, but it won’t be anymore now that I have a new friend.” He gives me an eye smile that makes me smile in return.

He walks me to my next class, then the rest of the day is a blur full of equations and lectures.

I get back to the homestay just fine and find the house has visitors again.

“Do you wanna hang out with us tonight?”
