Days Thereafter

He leans closer and I find my hands also reaching out.

*buzz**buzz*

He stops and looks at me in my eyes, then sighs and moves away. I didn't realize I was holding my breath, but I let it out after he moved back. I take my phone out of my pocket and see that Megan wants to face time. I sigh but answer anyway.

"Hey girl!!! Long time no freaking see!! I miss you!!" She can always make me smile.

"I know, I miss you too, you egg! How are you, and where's Connor?" It's weird she's actually by herself.

"He's in the kitchen. How is everything there, is everybody nice?" I spoke too soon I guess. I take that moment to look up and see Jimin leaning against the wall on his phone.

It's time to make my move. I walk and stand next to Jimin showing him in shot.

"This is one of best friends here! His name is Jimin!" He looks up a little alarmed but manages to smile. I decide to take it one step further and swing my arm around his shoulders.

"Wow, you made a friend already? And a boyfriend it seems like too!"

"Whatever! He and I are friends! If you start picking on me I'm going to tell Connor!" And speak of the devil, he comes right behind Megan with a sandwich.

"What's going on here?" He asks Megan and then kisses her on her cheek. I make a puking noise which Megan sticks her tongue out at.

"My bestest friend in the world made a new friend who just happens to be a guy, and a pretty cute one too." Megan says with a smirk.

"Dating already? Hasn't it only been a week?" Connor asks me

"We're not dating! And if we were what does a week matter, it only took you guys three days after you met! " I can't help but blush as this conversation keeps dragging on, I hope Jimin doesn't understand anything. Just then he asks to see my phone. I'm a little confused but hand it over anyway.

"Hi...my name... is Jimin. We're... dating." He smiles back at me making me tomato red.

"I KNEW IT!!!" I hear Megan yell. I hurriedly take my phone back and see Connor and Megan laughing their butts off.

"You can't hide love!" Connor yells. I'm so speechless there's nothing I can do but shake my head. It's at that time Connor decides to show his love for Megan and soon enough their making out. I decide to let the call end there.

What the hell just happened?! I turn towards Jimin and see a small smile on his face.

"Why did you say we we're dating?"

"Well why not?" And with that he steps closer.

"Because we're not dating." He keeps coming closer and I keep stepping back. I feel nervous. I hit the wall and he stops when our feet touch. He learns closer his mouth next to my ear.

“Maybe we should change that?” He then takes a step back and just looks me in the eyes.

“I really like you.” His confession is shocking but makes me happy too. I now know this isn’t just a one sided thing. But is this moving too fast? We met not too long ago…but it seems to work for Megan, and she’s happy. I want to be happy too...
