Days Thereafter

“Ayy~” all the boys say.

“Hyung! Why are you so greasy?!” Jungkook

I redden as he lets his arm fall off my shoulders with a light laugh.

“Why would that be such a bad thing?” Jin asks looking at the mirrored wall

“Hyung, she should be mine not yours.” Suga says laying back with his beanie over his face.

“OK, let’s settle this once and for all!” V says while play punching the ground.

“DANCE-OFF!” yells J-Hope. Jin and Rapmonster are the only ones to protest, but comply anyway. All the boys get up to stretch, jin lead me to the middle of the room.

“Stay here, try not to move a lot, ok?” I just nod in agreement, not really sure what to expect.

Suga walks to get the remote first and pushes on a rugged hip hop song. He starts towards me, looks at me seriously in my eyes then starts moving his feet. They start out slow, then move faster. Soon his whole body is moving and he’s b-boying. His moves match the beat perfectly. I always saw him as so breakable and fragile, and a little dorky. This a whole new side to him that I’ve never seen. The music ends and he stands in front of me. I don’t know what to do but stare at him in awe.

“Ok, you can all go home, my swag won.” Suga says looking at everyone. Rapmonster lightly pushes Suga aside and takes the remote. He puts on a Busta Rhymes song.

He stands there for a moment, then starts to awkwardly move his hands. They seem shaky and kinda aggressive. Then he starts to scrunch up his face and moves his head back and forward. We all start laughing at this ridiculousness and eventually Jin turns the music off.

Rapmon looks and me and bows and apology.

“I can’t dance well.” He says with a smile. He really does have a charming smile, but his dancing is on another level. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that hard in front of the boys.

“I think I’m a little better than that.” He says, moving to stand in front of me.

“Track 7” he says towards Rapmon. It’s not a song I know, but it has a nice beat. He starts off with a dance that looks like he’s directing traffic. Then the base drops and so does he. He looks like a shutdown robot. He starts popping and using moves that bring out exasperations from his members. However, his moves soon run dry and he’s left doing the traffic dance again. The boys bust out laughing. Jin smiles and stops the music. Rapmon walks up and puts arms around Jin’s shoulders.

“Where did you learn to dance like that hyung?”

“I just observed and practiced a little from Hobi.”

The dances continue with V dancing seriously, yet ending in aegyo, Jungkook being mature and fierce with his dance, even a little b-boying. J-hope and Jimin are the only ones left. I’ve heard about J-Hope’s skills, but don’t know much about Jimin.

“Time for the dance masters turn!” Hobi says excitedly. He stretches out his neck both ways and proceed to both of his arms before shaking his legs out. Jungkook starts his music and J-hope starts. His movements are perfect. He is great at popping and his moves are so smooth it seems rehearsed. His dance ends and I’m left mouth wide open, clapping like a seal.

“That was what I call a heated night with Hope, a fiery day, it’s Friday night!” The boys and I erupt into laughter. Jimin and V stand on both sides of him and all three start rolling their bodies in unison, J-Hope obviously being an expert on that move as well.

“Alright, it’s my turn now.” Jimin says while adjusting the music. Sexy Back starts playing; Rapmon facepalms himself, Suga walks over to the corner to observe, and the rest break out into snickers and laughter behind their hands. He starts towards me looking at me with an expression that makes me blush. His moves make the others snicker, but make me blush even more. They consist of a lot of hip movement and smoldering eyes. By the time he’s finished all the members are laughing and I’m left feeling even more taken aback.

Oh God, I can’t even look at anyone. Why does he have to dance like THAT?!

“Ok, who’s it going to be? Keep in mind, not only is this based on dancing, but an swag, and who you like the best.” Suga says putting his arm around my shoulders.

Should I be honest with myself or not?

Sorry for not having updated in a while, I moved into my dorm and just had my first day of classes. I hope you guys like it and if you have any ideas for the story leave 'em down in the comments section. It would help out a lot!
