Off to New York
"Yo! Got the tickets! We leave in three days!" Sung Hyun called. It was just the three of them best friends and orphans. They lost their parents when they were young and had lived in n orphanage in the Philippines since then. "Yay! We get to go to New York! I can't wait!" Mitsumi cheerfully said. "Cool. I wonder how good the dojos are there." Xiāo Lyn said. They had moved out from the orphanage three months after they got their part-time jobs. They were off of school since it was summer break. They were moving to New York to have a better life there. "Lyn. Don't be so grumpy all the time. Smile." Mitsumi said. "Sumi, honey, I'm not like you. I can't just smile for no good reason." Xiāo Lyn said. "B-but Lyn. You gotta. You just gotta." Mitsumi whined. Xiāo Lyn face palmed, shook her head and sighed. "Pack up! We don't have much time to lose. It's now or never girls. Sumi stop being a girl and go to your room. Lyn, please lighten up for me." Sung Hyun said. Xiāo Lyn looked at her and gave a sarcastic smile and walked to her room. Mitsumi dashed of to her room and started packing. "We have a long trip ahead of us." Sung Hyun sighed and walked off to her room slowly.
---Three days later---
"Here we are. Manila National Airport. Get your passports ready." Sung Hyun said. "It's time to kick butt. We got this." Mitsumi grinned. "How can you be so girly and childish one minute and tomboyish and awesome the next Sumi?" Xiāo Lyn asked. "The same reason why you're so cold to people Lyn. You're a Capricorn, Sungie is a Leo and I'm a Gemini." Mitsumi said. Xiāo Lyn and Sung Hyun sighed in defeat. "She's impossible. And unpredictable. I feel sorry for the person who dates her." Sung Hyun said. They got on the plane fifteen minutes after they arrive and left the airport an hour later. About 16 hours later they had landed in New York. "Girls wake up. We're here." Xiāo Lyn said. She started to take down their luggage and started to leave. "Thanks Lyn!" Mitsumi called. She just flicked her hand in the air and continued walking. "Don't worry she's smiling on the inside Sumi. Don't bother trying to make her smile." Sung Hyun said. They got their luggage and headed off to the lobby.
