Baekhyun takes his first step on walking out the counter and feels uneasy because of a thing he doesn’t know. Maybe because Kyungsoo is acting like he saw something Baekhyun doesn’t know. And he’ll interrogate Kyungsoo for sure later.

He goes to where the new guy is and is about to tell him to enjoy the café and restaurant and smile. But when the guy turns to him, he is suddenly caught. Baekhyun could feel his throat dry when he sees the man sitting on the chair.

He cannot correctly utter the words, “Here is your or...d…er…S-sir.” Oh my god he is so beautiful. Even if he’s not smiling, yet. Baekhyun finds himself staring at the girl while placing the chocolate cake and water he ordered.

“E-enjoy and s-smile.” Baekhyun manages to say. The boy rolls his eyes and stabs the cake and eats it. Then he blinks at the cake and feels his heart lightens, Oh, it’s great. He thins his lips to smile at the cake. And when he sees that the waiter is still in his table, he asks him. “What do you want?” he rolls his eyes and decides not to look at the guy in front of him.

Baekhyun cannot speak and his lips tremble as he tries to utter some words until Tao nudges him on his side. Baekhyun suddenly wakes up and blinks at Tao who is greeting him with a smile. Baekhyun smiles too and glances at the guy on the table shyly. Chanyeol sees this and doesn’t know what to do so he just continues to eat the chocolate cake.

“Please sing a song for us like you always do!” Tao almost shouts and it looks like the crowd hears this so they cheer on Baekhyun and ask him to sing. Baekhyun confidently goes to the counter as Chen hands him the microphone. Well, they’re always ready for times like this. They do this tradition everyday, one person sings each day.

Baekhyun bows and gives thanks to Chen and Chen finds this unusual so he makes a face like oh-since-when-did-you-learn-respect? Baekhyun rolls his eyes and smiles as he inhales and tells himself, Way to impress Baekhyun…

“She’s my baby~” as soon as he sings the song, the crowd cheers for him. He smiles confidently at the crowd. While Chanyeol, on the other hand, is surprised at the beautiful voice he is hearing right now. He just wishes that the voice isn’t coming from anyone who’s from this café and restaurant. He takes the water and drinks it.

Baekhyun sees this and continues the song, not minding the thumping of his chest and shaking of his knees as everything gets in slow motion as those fingertips touch the glass and then goes into his mouth to eat the icing of the chocolate cake which brushed on his fingertips… “Saehayan geuson geuttae, yeah… noga beorin chocolate..” | At the end of those pale fingertips, there’s melted chocolate |

As soon as Chanyeol hears the word chocolate, he blinks at what he’s eating now and the way he eats the chocolate icing on his fingertips. “You’re walking into my door!!” he gulps as he feels his throat dry and looks at the one who’s singing who happens to be staring at him.

“She’s my lady…” Baekhyun smiles at him when he finally looks at him. Then Chanyeol’s heart flinches as he takes in the guy’s stares and he feels like he’s melting like chocolate. He sighs heavily because he wants to take away the strange feelings in his heart. He bites and licks his lip because his throat his so dry. And Baekhyun is struck, | I will completely fall into your dazzling lips | “Nunbushin nae ipsure, yeah… Ppajyeo---“ Baekhyun suddenly gulps and he is out of tune.

He hears the laughs of the crowd but he is taken aback that the guy who catches his attention is smiling at his mistake too. He suddenly moves and runs around the café. Chanyeol then looks at the running man and follows him with his gaze until he is caught.

“I’m running into your heart!” Baekhyun is in front of Chanyeol and is smiling as he takes Chanyeol’s hands and dances him around while singing the song he first heard with this voice and he must say, he likes it…

“Jom deo neol naege boyeojwo, don’t lie
Soljikhaejindamyeon, gonna be easy
Dan han beondo neukkil su eobdeon dalkomhan harmony
Don’t be too late…”

And probably… Tao is right. He smiles throughout the whole evening he is in that café and restaurant.

Chanyeol is now walking out the café and restaurant when familiar hands stop him from walking away. Chanyeol turns around and expects that he’ll see the guy who danced him earlier, “Ah! W-what’s your name? May I know what your name is?” Baekhyun curses because he just stutters. And he smiles at the guy and he feels relieved because the guy smiles the same way he was earlier.

“Park Chanyeol… I’m Chanyeol… Baekhyun.” He says and Baekhyun’s heart beats so fast when he hears this fucking voice. Baekhyun feels like he’s drowning in that deep voice. And Baekhyun gives thanks the heavens for Chanyeol knows his fucking name!!!

“P-please do come again.” Baekhyun managed to say because he definitely wants to see the dazzling smile and beautiful features this guy Chanyeol has, “C-Chanyeol.”

Chanyeol bows and smiles at Baekhyun but doesn’t answer Baekhyun. But he answers himself, I definitely will. He smiles as he takes off the café and restaurant which, he thinks, changes his life even from the inside of that place only. He is sure of that… especially when he hears the shouts of the one who makes him smile like he is a teenage girl. Girl. Girl…. “She’s my baby… she’s my lady…” Oh shit… am I a girl? Chanyeol doesn’t know now.

Baekhyun then shouts as soon as Chanyeol goes out the café. He dances around the café and restaurant, and the other workers and customers just smile at him. And Chen cuts his celebration for the mean time to ask him, “Why are you shouting? Yah, start to clean the café, this Kyungsoo is a mess.” Chen pouts because he doesn’t know what happens to Kyungsoo who is rubbing the counter like there’s some dirt which he cannot get rid off.

“He knows my name! He knows my name!” Baekhyun continues to celebrate. Chen looks at him like he is crazy and gets back on cleaning because, “Your uniform has your name tag on it, so just help us in cleaning this please.” Chen says and the people in the room laugh. Baekhyun realizes it and becomes disappointed, I-I thought he truly knows my name… he breaks down but doesn’t cry.

“But at least you know now who he is because fuck! I don’t know his name!!” Kyungsoo suddenly says. The others look at him surprised because they don’t know that Kyungsoo is listening all throughout the conversation.

Then Kyungsoo remembers how the guy’s back was so sexy and how he bit his plump lips and how he walked down the aisle to his altar and he is so in regret for being dumb because he was taken aback at the feelings he first felt in his whole entire life.

Kyungsoo pouts and Chen blinks at him, “What are you talking about?” Kyungsoo looks at Chen and points to the table where the guy he is attracted to was. Chen looks at the table and wonders why Kyungsoo points there, Does Kyungsoo sees something normal people can’t?

“He was sitting there earlier, dumb.” Baekhyun rolls his eyes at how stupid Chen is when he thinks of the world beyond this world first before the possibilities in this world have. Chen looks at the things that don’t exist, and he cannot see the things around him, that’s the problem.

Chen pouts his lips of what Baekhyun said for calling him dumb. He scratches his head and goes to cleaning again. Baekhyun then goes to Chen and realizes that Chen is sensitive about calling him like earlier, Chen is sensitive, Baekhyun just doesn’t know why.

He goes to Chen and rubs his back for an apology. Chen looks at him and bwa… it’s okay now because it’s not that serious. Chen smiles at him and Baekhyun does the same.

Kyungsoo seems to wake up in this world now that he starts to collect the blankets and mattresses which are used to cover the rounded tables. He also lifts the chairs and puts those upside down on the table.

He does that quicker than he used to and Chen, Baekhyun, and Suho are taken aback at the sudden action of Kyungsoo. They blink at how fast Kyungsoo did those all by himself. And then Kyungsoo looks at them and looks at Baekhyun, “Let’s go Baekhyun.” Kyungsoo says and goes to the room to change into his casual clothes.

Baekhyun looks around first and immediately runs after Kyungsoo. Something is going on Kyungsoo and Baekhyun is sure of that. Chen just blinks at Suho who just shrugs and tells Chen to get ready to end his shift too. Chen nods and goes to where Baekhyun and Kyungsoo went.

“What’s going on Kyungsoo?” Baekhyun asks as he flips his shirt to change it, he also fixes his hair and things in his bag.

Kyungsoo then tells Baekhyun what he’s feeling now without sparing him a glance, “I was just frustrated. I am going to leave this town… yet I became an idiot when I met him. I don’t know why I’m frustrated, I-I regret the whole time he’s here. I envy you Baekhyun. Why am I an idiot?” Kyungsoo now sighs as he realizes that he was wrong in getting carried away of what he was feeling earlier.

Then Baekhyun asks Kyungsoo again, “Why? W-what did you feel?” Baekhyun doesn’t know why he stutters but he has this feeling that Kyungsoo might feel what he felt towards Chanyeol when he first saw his beautiful features.

“I don’t know, everything got in slow motion. I was smiling all the time, I know what I’m doing but I don’t know what I’m feeling. I don’t know what to do but to smile thinking that he’ll smile at me too… but…” Kyungsoo recalls at how the tanned guy hissed at him when Kyungsoo was staring at him earlier, “it was not given to me… it’s the first time Baekhyun…”

Kyungsoo breaks down as he realizes that, “It was the first time that I gave someone a smile but he didn’t even give me even a tug upwards of his lips. I don’t know, I feel like an idiot. Or… I was disappointed to myself, my smile doesn’t have effect on him. What kind of person is he?!” Kyungsoo complains and pouts as he slumps his back and gets out of the room to walk to Baekhyun’s house.

Baekhyun is not yet done in fixing his things so he shouts at Kyungsoo who is now halfway to the door outside, “Yah! Kyungsoo, wait up!” he doesn’t have enough time to fix all the things in his bag because Kyungsoo won’t mind him again. He quickly shoves the things inside his bag and decides to just fix it later in their house.

He runs after Kyungsoo who is opening the door from the inside. “Aish really Kyungsoo.” He catches to Kyungsoo and begins walking with him like the usual. He looks at Kyungsoo and doesn’t find the usual cheerful self the other one has. And Kyungsoo’s back is still slumped that makes him look smaller. Baekhyun tries to make the other one smile, even just for a little bit, “Maybe all he saw earlier… was your creepy or idiotic smile. You always do that when you’re not in this world Kyungsoo.” Baekhyun speaks of the truth.

Then Kyungsoo looks at him, feeling a little lighter, now he understands why the tanned boy was like that earlier, his idiotic smile is the worst smile one can have. Yes, he has the best heart-shaped smile in town but he also holds the record as the person who has the worst idiotic smile. And in two days, this town won’t have those smiles again.

So he decides, “I have to make him smile even just for a little bit.” Kyungsoo decides but he only said that because he doesn’t want others to know that he has his eyes on the guy (yet it is so obvious that Kyungsoo is attracted to the guy) who just gave him a shit earlier. (yes, Kyungsoo considers that as bullshitting and he doesn’t want to feel that way anymore.)

But… his body has gone numb once again and he feels like his feet are glued on the ground when he sees the same tanned man under the lamp post and God, how did you make this one looks so good and sexy by just standing under that lamp post. And I’m thanking you for placing him there. Kyungsoo’s eyes are big but his vision is not that good. And he’s sure that he won’t see the tanned guy in the dark if he is not resting under the lamp post.

Baekhyun almost loses Kyungsoo because he doesn’t notice that Kyungsoo has stopped walking. Thus, he runs back to Kyungsoo who is staring at somewhere like an idiot he was earlier, “Kyungsoo-yah. Let’s go, I’m shivering in cold now…” Baekhyun breathes and he can see it through the dim lighted lamps.

Kyungsoo blinks slowly and is taken aback by the beautiful eyes and neck movements the guy is doing right now. Kyungsoo thinks that he’s lost and he will adopt him anytime soon. So he slowly walks on the path towards the guy. Baekhyun scrunches his face to where Kyungsoo is going. He watches Kyungsoo going towards a guy under a lamp post. And he realizes that this maybe the guy Kyungsoo is talking about since the guy’s skin is dark.

Baekhyun walks to where Kyungsoo is going and finds Kyungsoo greeting the other boy and the boy is surprised yet he shows a bored face. Baekhyun cocks an eyebrow as the boy doesn’t respond to what Kyungsoo says.

“H-hi. I don’t expect to see you here.” Kyungsoo smiles sweetly at him and he knows that he can get him because he’s in the world now. Argh, that guy again… The boy looks at him up and down like he is investigating Kyungsoo for a crime he is solving. Kyungsoo maintains his beautiful smile until the boy looks at him like he just told him a lame joke. Then Kyungsoo smiles again and thinks that maybe that greeting is not good enough, “What are you doing here? It’s so cold here, here, take this.” Kyungsoo gives him the last hot pack he has for the week and Baekhyun is shocked at what Kyungsoo is doing, Kyungsoo never gives a hot pack to anyone because he himself is shivering and crystalling in cold.

The guy looks at the hot pack and eventually takes it from Kyungsoo without brushing his fingertips on the shorter guy. He accepts it because it’s fucking cold 9 in the evening and he doesn’t know why he’s here. He has this new house and new appliances but it still feels empty. He doesn’t want to feel that anymore because he is empty himself.

Kyungsoo is so happy that the guy accepts his hot pack. He maintains his smile too and waits for the other one’s response. They stay there for half a minute and Kyungsoo is starting to freeze in cold for he gave the hot pack to the guy in front of him. Baekhyun doesn’t know what to do but to stay in silence too because he’s afraid to interrupt the two to what the hell they are doing now.

“I-I want to be your friend…” is the only thing Kyungsoo can tell for now that he wants to know the guy more. And hearing that, Baekhyun covers his mouth to stop himself from laughing. Oh my god… this is the first I heard this person say that! and it is not suited for him! Baekhyun runs away from them to laugh somewhere because usually, it’s Kyungsoo who is being asked by someone to be their friend. Because of course, Baekhyun admits, Kyungsoo has this sweet, quiet yet cute appearance. But believe Baekhyun, Kyungsoo is not totally the way the people see… he’s way tooooo far from that. Well, except for cute and sweet.

“I want to be your friend…” Kyungsoo asks again when he hears no response from the taller guy. He even extends his arm to shake hands with the beautiful man in front of him.

When the guy hears those words again, he wants to puke in front of the guy who just asked him that kind of… eww. But Kyungsoo is startled when the guy shoved his hand away. The guy straightens up which makes him taller and whispers to the smaller guy, “Chinguga anya… | Not a friend |” and Kyungsoo can feel that it sends shivers throughout his body. Not because of the wind, not because of the cold weather they have today but because of the guy’s husky voice.

The guy then throws the hot pack Kyungsoo gave him earlier to the ground, “I don’t want to be in debt to someone like you…” he says as he turns his back to Kyungsoo and rolls his eyes. He walks back to his house because he really feels he was disgusted the first time that short guy smiled at him. His stomach hurts, and feels the curling and twirling when he first saw the man. He wants to puke because of that.

Baekhyun witnesses the whole scene and just stops in his position when he sees the man throws the hot pack Kyungsoo just gave him earlier. It is the last hot pack Kyungsoo has and he will just throw it on the ground like some other trash? Oh, you’re fucking kidding me.

He goes back to where Kyungsoo is and hears what the guy says and then the guy turns away. He moves closer to Kyungsoo and finds the other one shocked at what happened to. Baekhyun is about to shout to guy for being rude and Kyungsoo senses this. So before Baekhyun shouts curses, he stops him and says with a smirk he doesn’t usually has, “Oh no, you do.” Kyungsoo is ready for war.

2nd update… it was hell. I spent a lot of time of thinking and writing this chapter. My mind is suddenly full of blank words and scenes, >>> Please insert a brain here <<< I need to read more fluffy fanfics to get more ideas, recommend me one!

Sorry if it’s not good, but I hope it is. I hope you like this chapter! I still enjoyed writing this chapter though, especially the ChanBaek part :3… feels…
