Chocolate of Luv

“Omma! I want to cook!” I stand at the door while put my hand on my hips. My mom look shocked and said “You? Cook? Seriously?” I look at her, “Yeah!” I said with my confidence face. My mom just push me “No no no you will blow my kitchen”, “Aaaa Omma I’m serious… Come on teach me. This time I will do it right” I begged her. “Aish this girl… So what the reason make you want to cook, ___?” she stared at me. “Just because, I’m a girl anyway” I smile. “Ahhh you have a boyfriend don’t u?” she tease me, “I know you ____” she add. I start to blush, “Ani! What should I do first?” I try to avoid the question.

Well my mom was right it is all because of my crush. His name is Jin and he was my classmate. Last week we have a camping program, he was in charge in cooking team and I was in that team too. He is really good in cooking, totally better than me. Yeah I have taste the food he made it was good. What make me want to learn to cook is because of his word.

*Flashback*

I was washing the rice, he came to wash his hand beside me I was feel so crazily happy that time. My heart goes dugeun dugeun, then suddenly he said, “Ya… Would it be nice if I can get a girl who can cook for me” he sighed and looked at me. “So you like girl that can cook?” I said to him, “Yep so I can eat delicious food” he smile at me, I was smile like a fool there. “But you can cook right?” I said to him, “Nahh just a simple dish” he laughed “But you way better than me” I said to myself. Having conversation like this make me wanna fly, I saw star sparkle around him. His gesture, the way he talked it make me lost my mind for a while. While enjoying look at him suddenly he turn and facing me “Anyway, ____-ah” he look at me. I start to blush “Nae? What it is?” I blink my eyes while looking at him. “Why did you wash the rice with soap?” he laughed at me. I look at the rice pot, there a lot of bubbles inside there. I feel so embarrassing that time, I feel like I was naked. “Ahh what have I done?” I start to panicked. He just laugh and said “You are so funny ____-ah” I saw his smiling “Come let me help you” he take the rice pot, I was so speechless. Now he might think I was a baboo that don’t know how to cook, I feel like I should kill myself that day.

“Morning!” I said while walking inside the class, suddenly I bump with Jin “Hey ___, morning” Jin wave at me, I blushed “Hey” I said and then quickly I went to my table. “Feel lucky today?” Eunsoo raise her eyebrow and look at me. “Of course, made my day” I smile while put my bag aside. “Ya valentine is coming so you going to make him chocolate again this time?” she said to me. “But did you remember last year…” she tried to bring that thing up. “Ya don’t talk about it” I pinched her hand, she just laugh “This time I will make it right! Hwaiting!” I feel so confidence right now. Yeah last time, the chocolate not so well made, it became too soft and sticky. The shape is terrible but the taste is not bad, I still gave it to him but he didn’t know it was me.
“Today hwaiting!” I was in the kitchen, today I will make a chocolate. I will make with all my heart, this all for him. After an hour at the kitchen, “What is this…” I whined, “Owh god why I have no talent in cooking?” I tried to break the chocolate, but it too hard. “He will lose his tooth if he ate this…” I feel totally disappointed, “Don’t give up let do it again! Hwaiting!” all day I made the chocolate, “I’m home~” it was my mom, “Ya what was that smell?!!” she run toward me, “Ya what are you doing?” she yelled at me. “My precious kitchen…” she sprays some air freshener. “Ommo what did my daughter do here?” my dad just smile, “Chocolate…” I sigh, “Can appa taste it?” he take some, “Appa wait!” I said to him, he take a bite. He didn’t say anything, suddenly he fainted. “Ommo! Yeoboo!!!” my mom scream. “Appa!!” we take him to the couch, “Does it taste so terrible?” I asked myself, I taste it and “What the hell am I cooking?” I puke it out. “Omma I’m a terrible cooker” I pouted, “Aigoo… don’t worry you can cook but you just have to practice more” she smiled. “Don’t worry ___-ah, it tastes good. Appa fainted because it was too good” suddenly my dad wake, “Appa don’t lie… I have taste it” I pouted. My dad will never hurt my feeling, I know that.

“So how was your chocolate?” Eunsoo asked me, “Worse than last year, my dad fainted after taste it” I look down. She burst to laugh, “Even a dog won’t eat that thing!” she hold her tummy, “Ya! Choi EunSoo!” I yelled at her, “Ahh miann miann…” she wipe her tears, “I’m not a good cooker” I lay down on the table, “Who not a good cooker?” suddenly I heard Jin voices, he come toward us. “Ahh who else this…” Eunsoo try to tell Jin but I cover her mouth, “Ahh… nobody…” I make a silly laugh. “What are you eating?” I saw him chew something, “Ahh strawberry, want some?” he asked me, “No thanks, so you like strawberry?” I asked him, “Yep I love it” he smile, I look at his face. He looks so cute chewing like that, his lips. “Ya ya… Stop staring at him” Eunsoo snap her finger. “Why is he so handsome…” I sit at my desk while daydream.

“Hey Eunsoo… I think I will make Chocolate Strawberry bar for him” I said to her, “Then he will die eating that” she said it slowly, “Ya! I heard that” I feel so pissed off, she just laugh. “Aish you are not helping at all, I need to go to toilet” I pouted, “Ya I’m just kidding” she yelled, I just ignore her. I walked through the corridor, I was looking at my phone suddenly I bump with someone. My phone fell, “Ark my phone” I bend down, suddenly that guy pick it up. He was Jin, he handed me the phone “Thanks… And sorry it was my fault for not looking” I bow and feel embarrassing. I took my phone and our hand touch, I blush crazily. “Be careful next time…” he smiled and walk to the class. I watch him from back, “Owh my… Why am I so in love with him?” my heart fluttered, I saw star flying around him.

“This is it! I will do it!” I went to the kitchen, “You want omma to help you darling?” my mom stands beside the table while put on her earring, “No omma, I have to do it with all my heart” I blink my eyes, “But…” she said while looking at her kitchen. “It ok omma I won’t blow up your kitchen, just go out with dad” I push my mom, “We are going” my dad said, today was their anniversary. I gather the ingredient to make the Chocolate Strawberry bar, something is missing. “Where is my strawberry?” I search it inside the fridge, “Ehh… Not here? Appaaa!” I sigh this must be my dad. Well my dad love strawberry too. I wore my cloth and went to the convenience shop to buy the strawberry. “There a lots here!” I feel so happy, I took a box of strawberry suddenly I saw Jin were there as well. “Hey ____-ah” he wave at me, I blush and wave back. “So you are buying strawberry too?” he look so happy, “Nae… My dad eat all my strawberry, I want to make Chocolate…” I cover my mouth, aish I can’t tell him! “You are making chocolate? For valentine?” he looks impressed, “Ani ani… I’m making chocolate shake” I lied, “Ahh.. I thought you are making chocolate for valentine. If you made it, give me some. I love chocolate too” he laugh, aigoo that smile that laugh. I keep stared at him, “So you are not making chocolate for valentine?” he asked me, “Ah… Maybe I don’t know yet” I stuttered a bit, we walked home together. The first time I walk with him alone like this, I feel totally happy.

“You know what, last year I got a lots of chocolate” he tell me, “Of course you are popular in school” I said to him, he just laugh. “Am I?” he asked me, I just smiled. “But there is one weird chocolate, I don’t know who’s from” he said while eating strawberry. “What weird with that chocolate?” I feel not easy. “That might be my chocolate” I said to myself. “Ah… It too sticky and the shape is weird, since someone gave it to me so I just ate it…” he keep munch, I really want to hear his comment “And then?” I asked him, “And then… I got indigestion” he giggles, I feel so sorry. “Ahh really?” I look down, he hold my shoulder and get closer to me “Are you ok?” he asked me since I walked slowly so sudden, “Ani ani, I’m good” I said to him, I blushed again. “There my house!” I pointed at him, he look at it. “Wahh… My house is a few blocks in front of that” he pointed at me, “Yeah I already know that baboo” I said in my heart; he didn’t know how hard to stalked him last time. “Ahh really? I didn’t know we live in the same area” I lied to him, he just keep smile. “So this is your house?” he looks at my house, “No…” I answer him, “Owh then who house is this?” he asked me, “Is my dad’s house” I giggle; he stared at me and laugh. “You are so funny _____-ah” he poke my shoulder, “Ommo stop do that my heart going to burst” it beat crazily inside here; I think I might get kill by Jin tonight. “Ok I better get going” he said to me, “Ok be careful” I said to him, I feel so damn happy. I try to open my door suddenly he called for me, “Hey _____-ah…” I turn around and look at him “Nae?” I blink my eyes, “If you make a chocolate make sure you didn’t put any soap ok?” he laugh and wave at me. “WHAT?!!! He still remembers that?!” my face turn red and I’m so speechless. He looked at me and said “I’m just kidding! Nice to talked with you” he wave at me and walked home.

Today is Valentine Day, I have waiting for this moment. “Hwaiting!” I said to myself, I packed the chocolate nicely, and hope it will turn ok. Now is recess time, my hand sweat and my heart beat crazily. “Should I do this? Should I just leave it under his table like before?” I asked myself, “Ya! What wrong with you?” Eunsoo pat my back, “I can’t confess it to him Eunsoo-ah” I look at her, “How long you want to keep it? Come on at least you try it right?” she said to me, I just blank for a moment. “But what if he rejected me?” I said to her, “At least you have told him everything” she rolled her eyes. “Take a deep breath and now go find him!” she push me, “_____-ah! Hwaiting!” she yelled at me, I walked slowly. “Why did I feel so scared?” I walked through the corridor. I saw him, I feel so nervous “At least I try” I said to myself but suddenly I heard a girl voice. I saw Jin and a girl. I hide behind the wall and spying on them. They are talking, and they look so close. “Oppa let’s go home together today ok?” she said to him, “Oppa?” I said to myself, secretly I look at them “Nae…” he smiled. Wait he has a girlfriend? She is so beautiful and they look perfect together. “He is popular, impossible he doesn’t have a girlfriend, what am I thinking?” I don’t know why but I feel bit hurt, I try to reverse and hit the flower pot. “Aish… Why at time like this?” I try to pick the flower pot. “Hey, ____-ah, what are you doing here?” Jin came next to me, “Do you need help?” he smiled, “Ahh I was walking and accidently kick this pot” I fix the pot and suddenly my tear fall down, Jin saw it “Are you ok?” he face change, “Ok? Of course I’m ok…” I wipe my tears and force myself to smile “Why are you crying?” he said to me, “No I’m not… Hey I got to go” I turn and run as fast as I can, “Wait…” I heard he call for me but I just want to get away from them.

I just want to run away. “I didn’t even get a chance to tell him” I said to myself, “I was too late” I run to the toilet. “Darn he saw my face” I cover my face and cry again. Now where is that chocolate? I think it might fall somewhere “Forget it”.

Jin POV
“Why is she crying? Did she hurt somewhere?” my heart not feel eased, she just leave like that. "Oppa is that the girl you always tell me?" Yoon walked next to me "Yeah there she is..." i answer her. "Why is she running away?" Yoon asked me again, "I don't know" I shrugged “Oppa… Look a box” Yoon pointed at me next to the flower pot, “Box?” I asked her, she pick up the box “I think she want to give it to you oppa, your name on it” she handed me, I opened the box “This is…” I said to myself. “So she is the one that….” I look at my cousin.

*That evening*

I packed my bag, Eunsoo look at me “What with that panda eye?” she said to me, “What look to obvious?” I take my mirror, “Yeah… Omg! He rejected you?” she holds my shoulder, “No…” I answer weakly, “Then why are you…” she mumbles, “I didn’t even get a chance to tell him… He already got a girlfriend” I almost burst into tears again, “Ommo that sad” she pat my shoulder, “Ok I have to go… You want me to walk with you today?” she asked me, “Its ok just go first” I buried my face on the table.

“Are you sure you are ok?” she asked me, “Nae I will be ok don’t worry just go… Junghwan must be waiting for you” I smile at her, she rub my back “Ok then, take care ____-ah” she wave at me. Its valentine day, I don’t want to interrupt her date. Everyone has left, I stare out of the window watching the evening view. “Can I just stay here…” I talked to myself while space out, I heard footstep. I turn around and saw Jin with a bag of chocolate in his hand, “Are you ok?” he asked me, “Why you didn’t go home yet? Let’s go home together” he said to me. I just stared at him, “I can’t…” I answer him, “Why? Come on let’s go” he pulled my bag, I pull it back. “I thought you were supposed to walk home with your girlfriend” I look down, “What girlfriend?” he furrowed his eyes brow. I look at him, “That girl before…” I stuttered a bit, “Yoon?” he giggles, “What so funny?” I talked to myself, “That was my cousin” he laugh, I widened my eyes “What?” I feel embarrassing, “Omg what am I thinking? Crying like stupid and made thought by myself” I look other way. “You know what…” he searching for something, “I don’t know why… I got so many chocolate today but I really want to eat this weird chocolate” he bring out a chocolate box, I look at him “Wait that was mine!” I widened my eyes. He was opening my chocolate box, “Where did you get that?” I said to him, “Ahh I found it, I wonder who made this… Wow this time it was strawberry” he said while take out the chocolate, “No don’t eat it!” quickly I grab it and put it inside my mouth. “Hey give it to me…” he said, I shook my head “Ok then…” he pull and kiss me. My knee feel weak my head was spinning and I close my eyes. I was standing there speechless “Got the chocolate” he said and showed it to me. He touch my face and said “I like you, I really like you” I was blushing, he chewing the chocolate and suddenly he fainted. “Jin!!!” I yelled and shake his body, “I am terrible cooker, miann!” I sigh. "Don't worry... It not that bad actually, just teasing you" he giggles, "Ya not funny" I push him lightly. "Can I have another one?" he touch my chin and smirked.

Jin: I know, you show see her face.
Jungkook: It really tasted bad hyung?
Jin: Eum… It look weird but it taste good *laugh*
Jimin: Eshh hyung *smirked*

All: Yay! *cheer*
