Kiss Me.

--JIEUNS POV—

I woke up early that morning, Eli was still lying in my bed. I turn to look at him, I really didn’t realise how beautiful he actually was. I lightly trace his face with my index finger gently touching his eyebrows and his eyelashes then following his perfectly shaped nose down to his lips. His lips were warm and I could feel my heart beat faster and faster.

Then a sudden pang of guilt overwhelmed me. Kevin. I had missed the restaurant meeting, I really wanted to know what he was going to say to me, but would it be too late? I lie my head back on the pillow being careful not to wake Eli up. I look at the clock next to my bed and realise it is pretty late and we should start getting ready for the day. I quickly sneak out of bed and I get into the shower. Being careful not to be too loud as I know he sleeps in a lot. I wonder if the boys would be coming round today or what they would be doing, and if I’m invited.

I realise how long I’ve been in the shower just daydreaming my life away, my thoughts drifting from Kevin to Eli to SooHyun to Kiseop DongHo, AJ and Hoon. I step out the shower and turn to the door next to it and put on some tight white jeans and a blouse, I finish everything by drying my hair until it becomes a frizzy tangled head of waves. As I step out of the door I see Eli is awake and he is getting changed, with nothing but his underwear on I feel slightly weird and I look away, I hear him put on some jeans and then I glance again still no t-shirt. Then he looks straight at me.

“JiEun-ah I know you are there,” he says and he points to me. Aish I better get out over wise he will think I’m a pervert or something. “I knew it.”

“What do you want?” I ask.

“I want to ask you what you want.” He replies.

“In what way?”

“Well, do you want to be my girlfriend?” He asks and bends down to look me in the eye, I blush hard again, this guy does something to me that I cannot explain. “Ah, don’t blush.” He says again “Just nod a yes or a no.”

What should I do? Of course I wanted to be his girlfriend, but what if he is just playing with me right now? But that kiss felt so real last night, and why would he sleep in the same room as me?

I nod yes in agreement. “Yes, I will be your girlfriend.”

“Really?” He sounds shocked he pauses for a while, starring at the ceiling “I thought you liked Kevin?”

“Anieyo, I think I’ve always liked you,” I pause without thinking and forgetting he is still partly naked. He grabs me into a hug and I feel his warm chest on my cheek.

“Me too, from the moment I stepped foot in this neighbourhood.” He says “What should we tell the others, do you want to keep it a secret?”

“Ah, I didn’t think about that, urm should we keep it a secret for a while? We could play a game with them,” I wink “but first what should we tell Kevin?”

“We will tell him you got ill, and you were too upset because of your parents remembrance day so we stayed in and watched a drama.” He says smiling.

“We need to think of details, what drama did we watch?” I ask.

“What ones have you got?” I tell him a list, “Okay we watched you’re beautiful, up to episode three. Anything else we need to think of?”

“What time did we start?”

“Nine o clock, we finished just over midnight. Then we had a drink of water because we had been drinking wine whilst watching then you fell asleep downstairs so I carried you to bed and then slept in the other room.”

“Okay I think that’s enough details, if they ask anything else, you make it up, you seem to be good at this.” I say and he was, he had a great imagination and then I wonder how many girlfriends he has had before, he was my first, I never really even had a crush on anyone before him. My first kiss, my first boyfriend and my first crush.

I go downstairs only to be shortly followed by Eli, who still hadn’t put a top on. “Ya, please put a t-shirt on or something, please?”

“Why? Do I make you uncomfortable?” He winks I shake my head but he pulls me into him and I blush my hand is on his warm chest it is a really nice feeling and it gives me butterflies. Just then I look up to see six faces staring at me and Eli, but Eli retaliates quickly and cleverly.

“Ah, I knew it your fever has gone down a lot, I told you not to drink so much wine last night.”

“Ah, mianhaeyo I didn’t think it would cause so much problems.”

Then I pretend to just notice UKISS in the room, “ah oppa, how long have you been there for?” I run to SooHyun.

“Just, and what is this about a fever?” he asks me and then puts his hand up against my forehead.

“Oppa, I’m fine, I had a bit to drink after the ceremony and we watched You’re beautiful and I fell asleep and as Eli carried me to bed he noticed I was feeling really warm so he gave me some medicine and gave me cold water.” I turn to Kevin. “Kevin oppa, mianhaeyo, I really am sorry for not being able to make it, I was too upset to leave so I just got drunk here and cried a little. I am sorry.”

“As long as you are fine now that is all that matters,” he replies and I hug him.

“Yeah I’m feeling absolutely wonderful, what are you guys going to do today?” I ask.

“Well, noona, we want to go shopping. All day shopping at COEX and MyeongDong and everywhere we can. So if you want too, I guess you can come too.” Jaeseop says.

“Only if you want me to come,” I reply.

“Of course noona, I want you to come.” Dongho grabs my wrist and jumps up and down like a kid. “Well who else wants noona to come,” they all nod and say ‘I do’

“Well then that settles it JiEun is coming shopping with us.” SooHyun says. I notice Eli is not speaking or showing emotion again but when I look at him when nobody else does he gives a quick small wink then mouths the words ‘I’ll get your bag.’

Whilst he goes upstairs I prep myself for this shopping trip, I hope it is worth it, I still haven’t spent the past four months allowance yet.

SooHyun pulls up in the big car, 8 seats and a boot. “Normally our manager drives this, but I borrowed it” he explains. I get in the car Eli on one side and Kevin on the other. Eli secretly nudges me and looks down at his hand and raises his eyebrow initiating to hold it. I nudge him back and hold his hand so nobody can see it. They all began singing to a CD and would not stop until we had parked up. They put sunglasses on in the car and a mask on and ordered me to do the same, I put on a small black bowler hat a pair of heart shaped aviators and wrapped a scarf around my neck, I looked pretty summery. I walked out with the boys I felt somewhat safe with them, it was nice, we had a few people recognise us at COEX but not many.

As we get to the first shop, I pull out my bag to find my purse. “Where is it?” I say out loud.

“Where is what?” SooHyun asks.

“My purse, I am sure it was in here?” I reply.

“Ah, JiEun-ah, I got your bag and noticed your purse on the side, I must have forgotten to put it in,” Eli winked and smiled suspiciously “I’ll pay for anything you get today, you can pay me back later.”

The group walked on muttering “aish he is so careless.”

Eli hung back with me for a minute “You did that on purpose didn’t you?”

“Yep, ah you know your oppa too well.” I nudge him in his ribs playfully but SooHyun is wondering towards us. Did he see, did he hear? I wonder.

“Oi,” he calls “what actually happened last night? You two have been acting weird all day.” He pauses, I look to Eli, who looks to me and we both look at SooHyun.

“Yeah, we are dating now, but don’t tell the others, we don’t want the whole world to know just yet. I know you knew already hyung, but I’m just making sure.” Eli says whilst I just stand there and nod.

“Araseyo, I won’t, but don’t make it so obvious. And since your buying everything she wants, I suggest you take her clothes and shoe shopping alone, I’ll tell the guys we’ll meet you at our café at one o clock? Got it?” He says most in Korean but then switches to English half way through. I have no idea what he just said. SooHyun walks off to join the others.

“O-Oppa, what did he just say?” I ask.

“Oh it was nothing, come on- clothes shopping? I need some new shirts and your opinion will really help.”

I agree and we head to a big Korean chain store and I stop and stare at all the beautiful dresses and shoes.

“Go on, get what you want, you can try them on. I’ll see which ones I like.” He says.

I pick up a few pairs of shoes and some dresses, why are they all so pretty, I find a couple of nice skirts and t-shirts to match, as I look around a bit more I see a music t shirt section. I look through and find Ukiss member t shirts each with their face on. “I’ll get one of each I think.” I laugh to myself.

We head to the dressing room and I begin trying them on, he is next door trying on his shirts and other new stuff.

We come out after the first change he is wearing a plain white shirt white a white cardigan and blue and white checked shorts. Ah “cute oppa” I say he smiles at me and I twirl around “Do you like it?”

“Yeah, put that in the buy pile,” he says and returns back into the cover of the dressing room.

We return minutes later wearing a new outfit. “And this one.” he points at the long dress and cardigan choice whereas his fine looking crystal white shirt looks fabulous, to which he already knows.

This happens a few times, with only one rather ugly looking green skirt and a navy blue shirt gets thrown out. I glance at the Ukiss fan shirts, I want them all. I’ll buy these secretly. I am pretty sure I have money, I’ll buy them using my card, I’m sure I keep it loose in my bag. I put the clothes I am buying into the shopping bag and search for my card in my handbag. “Where is it?”

“Looking for this?” He holds up my card, “you aren’t getting it back not today anyway. I told you I am paying for everything.”

“But you can’t afford it and I am paying you back anyway.”

“Tsk tsk tsk you really think I am letting my girlfriend pay her boyfriend back?” He giggles and put my card in his pocket and retrieves his “I got paid yesterday for this week so you can have anything you like.” We put the skirt and shirt back and pay for the clothes. 400,000₩!

“Are you sure you can afford it?”

“Of course,” he replies then whispers into my ear “I am famous you know!”

“I know,” I say sarcastically.

We leave the shop and he takes me into a couple shop. ‘Oh no! Is he really thinking about couple stuff.’

“JiEun-ah what about this bracelet?” He asks, I hide my face in embarrassment. “Ya JiEun-ah.” He calls I put my head down and walk slowly up to him.

“Why do you want couple items so badly, isn’t this for first loves or first couples or something?” I ask.

He replies smugly “Well, you are my first so why can’t I?”
