“Aniyeo, not like that anyway. She seems nice, but aniyeo.” I say quickly then I continue to eat my noddles.

“Ahh hyung, you can tell us if you wa-“ Dongho was cut off by Kiseop covering his mouth.

“Shut up DongHo, he said he doesn’t. Lets leave it at that.” Kiseop says.

“I want to confess,” Kevin began, I looked up to him and so did the others, “I like JiEun, from the first day, when me and Kiseop greeted her.”

“Ahh, I thought so hyung,” Hoon says “I got all goosebumps when you hugged her earlier.”
What should I do? I liked her, but because Kevin does too, should I let Kevin try and win her heart? He was my best friend after all and she did seem to like Kevin. Aish. I did not know what to do, should I tell the guys.

SooHyun was just lying about later that night, so I discussed it with him.

“Hyung,” I began, and lay down next to him, “what do I do, hypothetically, if one friend likes a girl, but so does his best friend?” I turned to SooHyun he had a smile on his face.

“Well one of the friends has to give his love up for the girl.” He was grinning.

“So I have to- I mean one friend has to give up his love for his friends love?” I say.

“Yes, unless...” SooHyun Hyung paused, “well the friends silently fight it out, to win the affections of the girl they like, and it all comes down to whoever she chooses.”

“So what you are saying is me and Kev… I mean the friends do romantic gestures and make the girl happy and when the time comes we confess and the girl chooses, that’s what happens in dramas anyway.”

“Yeah, so what are you going to do KyoungJae?”

“I have no idea- wait, it’s not me.” I lied.

“I know it is you, I was watching you all this time. When Kevin hugged JiEun your fist tightened and you didn’t speak after that, and you spoke in your sleep ‘Kajima JiEun, kajima’” he does an impression of me I frown at him and gently punch his shoulder.

I thank him and I go up to my room where DongHo is sleeping.

‘JiEun-ah, do you like Kevin?’ I say whilst staring at the ceiling, I want her to be in my arms right now, like she was this morning. I eventually fall asleep dreaming of her.

As usual I wake up last, unaware of the guests present in our house, so as usual I continue downstairs topless, the guys were used to it by now so I didn’t have anything to worry about, or so I thought. I turned the corner and there she was. JiEun, and her older brother.

“Ooh, hyung,” Kiseop and AJ chorus.

She stares straight at me then SooHyun covers her eyes with his hand. I blush and run quickly upstairs and into my room.

--JiEun’s POV—

As I am laughing with the guys I see my brother turn to face the other direction so I follow his gaze to the cold prince.

‘Omo’ I think out loud. Why has he no shirt on, why is he showing his muscles off like that? I can feel my heart beating fast my brother smiles a little and SooHyun places his hand over my eyes, but there is a little gap between his fingers and I can not help but stare a little longer until he leaves the room in a hurry.

“Ahh, mianhaeyo JiEun, Hyung, he normally does this, but he is shy around new people. That is probably why he seems really cold, because he is shy” SooHyun explains to us.

“Aniyo, I am sure JiEun doesn’t mind, do you?” oppa says.

“Mwuhh? Ya, opppaa” I do a little bit of aegyo, not overly, but I always use it when my brother is a little bit mean. “What do you mean, I don’t mind?”

“Aniyo, never mind” he says, and I blush. Last night, I hadn’t stopped speaking about these guys and I am pretty sure he picked up on little things. HyunJoong was like that, even though he was a well known business person, he had also been an actor so he could tell peoples feelings straight away, I just hoped I hid mine well.

“Ya Hwang JiEun, do you have your eye on any of us?” SooHyun says cheekily and grinning like a mad man.

“Mmmm. Should I tell the truth or lie a little?” I say.

“The truth obviously,” says DongHo as he comes in. “its me isn’t it.” He winks.

“You got me DongHo, I like you.” I pause “as a dongseng.” I then continued as there are many eyes watching me. “I will admit, I like all of you, I’ve never been close to anyone before, but now I feel really comfortable being with all you guys, it’s nice, but there is one of you. I will not tell you who though. You guys will have to work out for yourself.” I grin and Kiseop ruffles my hair

“Aish, you are playing hard to get JiEun-sshi.” He says cutely. “I think I already know who it is anyway.”

I frown, I hope he doesn’t know, I haven’t really expressed my feelings towards any of them, not really.

--ELI’S POV—

I had calmed down and walked down stairs to hear “I will admit, I like all of you, I’ve never been close to anyone before, but now I feel really comfortable being with all you guys, it’s nice, but there is one of you. I will not tell you who though. You guys will have to work out for yourself.”
Aish, she likes someone, it is definitely not me, should I just give up and let Kevin, or should I silently fight this one out.

I walk in the room where everyone is.

“Ahh, hyung, nice to join us,” Hoon says. “JiEun is explaining who she likes.”

“JiEun, can we ask you three questions to help us decide?” DongHo asks.

“Sure!” she agrees.

“What is your type?” DongHo asks again.

“My sister likes bad boys.” HyunJoong says, she nudges him in the ribs.

“Aniyo, no, not at all.” she frown.

“I like someone who can protect me, someone who is not afraid to use their strength to help me, but also I like someone with a romantic side, and maybe a bad boy side.” She says.

“Araseyo, so you do like bad boys, but romantic bad boys.”

“Which is more important to you?” SooHyun asks. “Love or friendship?”

She pauses and bites her lips. This girl is making me go crazy! “Love or friendship. Well I’ve lived without both for such a long time, so neither. If I had to choose, I would say both, because you can turn friendship into love easily, but turning love into friendship is a lot harder, and I admire people who are willing to do that.” Woah, this girl is great. That is such a perfect answer I am jealous of how good she is with words.

I really wanted to ask the last question but Kevin beat me to it, “On a scale of one to ten how would you rate us all on your friendship scale?”

“10, definitely, I’ve never had friends before and you guys are the only people to have made me smile in over three years.” She says and glances at me. I look away and pull my phone out and walk away.

A few hours later HyunJoong walks out and into his posh foreign car. He gets to be so close to JiEun I wish I could do the same. We are all sitting around after he leaves, I finally begin my first move.

“JiEun, when are you going to take us around the neighbourhood then?” I say and look at her as she turns her head toward me.

“Urm, I-I could, I could show you now, if you want to?” she says innocently and she brushes her fringe with her hand.

“Gaja,” I say and we put our shoes on and walk out of the house and into our new neighbourhood I didn’t know what to expect from this, maybe it is my chance to get close to her.
