Left in the Dark

Jae Min walked to slower and later than usual. It was a rainy Thursday morning. "I hate them so much. Damn. What the hell is wrong with that guy? The jerk." she muttered. When he got to the main gate she saw Kris waiting for her. "Sunbaemin. What are you doing out in the rain?" Jae Min asked. "I'm waiting for you, you little runt." Kris said coldly. Jae Min looked at him blankly. Kris started walking towards the school and Jae Min followed him. "Isn't that the new girl?" "What's she doing with Kris oppa?" "That dirty little sank." "Who does she thinks she is?" People were talking about her. Kris turned around and looked at her. She was crying. "Yah. Stop crying. It makes you look ugly." Kris said. "I-I'm n-not c-crying. I-I'm j-just sweating f-from m-my eyes." Jae Min hiccupped as she wiped her face. "You are such a kid." Kris sighed. He grabbed her arm and took her to the roof.

They spent the whole morning up on the roof in the rain. She looked down from the roof. "Oppa. Does Yong Guk really like me?" Jae Min asked. "He does talk about you all the time. Why is your brother always drinking banana milk? I see him with a bottle every time I see him." Kris wondered. "He doesn't like the taste of milk and he doesn't like eating bananas. I know he means well and is my brother, but he is just to feminine. I don't get him." Jae Min sighed. "But on the other hand, you are very masculine. The exact opposite of your dear brother. You two are like water and fire." Kris sighed. "I shouldn't be up here with you. I should be in class." Jae Min. "Both of us should." Kris smiled. Jae Min looked at him and smiled. They went to the cafeteria to get some food and went their seperate ways.
