Brother Best

“Ring!!” the noisy alarm clocked had woke Key up from a very deep sleep.
He rubbed and massaged his head as soon as he woke up. His sleepy eyes staring at his big fat but cute cat, Mong. Mong was sleeping on its new comforter. Key washed himself and had a breakfast with his parents, mama Victoria and papa Nickhun.
“Son, where are you going today? Do you have plans?” asked Victoria.
“No, mama. I’m tired. I wanna rest at home.” Key answered coldly.
Key started to eat his toasted bread. All of a sudden, his eyes caught a picture frame in the big cupboard in front of him. He sighed while biting the bread.
Victoria and Nickhun went out for a movie. Key locked himself in the house. He kept looking outside the window in his room. The bad memories kept running in his mind. He could not forget the incident that had happened last two nights.
“Yo key! I have bought you your birthday gift!” Amber walked towards him happily.
Key was riding a swing at the park recognized him and automatically waved hands at Amber. She brought something for him. It was his birthday, they decided to celebrate together.
“Yah! Guess what I have bought for you? Hurry!” Amber was very excited.
“Dude. I won’t accept anything unless it is something fashionable. Daaa~” Key flipped his hair fabulously and acted like a diva.
“Ha.Ha. fine. Here you go. It’s bracelet from top brand in the world. So take care of it! It was really expensive till I could die when I saw its price. Duh.” Amber said and gave the bracelet to him.
“Whoaaaaaaaaaa! Thanks dude! You know what my favorites.” they cheered happily and Key hugged Amber tightly. They looked like couple but actually they are best buddies.
That was the first and the last gift from Amber. The precious keyber bracelet was always on his wrist. He rubbed and took care of it. And that day was the last laugh and smile that Key heard and saw from Amber. Amber had bumped on a car when she was trying to cross the road. While she was waving hands at Key, two cars were racing at a max speed could not stop and one of the car had bumped Amber. Key was blank seeing Amber had flew a few meters from the car. Key was totally panicked.
“Amber!!” Key shouted and ran towards her
He cried and put Amber’s bloody head on his laps. Her bones were almost fully cracked. When Amber was trying to say something, Key immediately put his ear closer to Amber’s lips.
“I’m sorry. I’m dying. I know you can do the best in entertainment world. Just don’t give up.” her voice becoming weak and weaker.
Amber took a deep breath and exhaled. Key could not hold his tears, seeing his best buddy dying.
“Key, let me go peacefully, okay? don’t cry. That will upset me so much. You are always be my best brother in my life. Thanks for becoming my buddy silly.” Amber smiled weakly and she holds Key’s cheeks with her hands.
“Sorry, I could not attend your wedding when you are going to marry.” She forced to laugh. Painful.
“Key ah, I love…” Amber’s hands released Key’s cheeks and her eyes closed slowly.
She passed away on Key’s lap. He hugged her tight while crying. He looked at his wrist. Amber was holding his wrist. The bracelet. He found the “BrotherbestKeyber”. He kissed Amber’s hands and the bracelet.
