ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

"Noona wake up. We're at the hospital." Zelo nudged. "Mmmm. Okay." she mumbled. Zelo got out of the taxi and helped Mikki who struggled getting out. "Where's my brother. I need to see him right now." she said as she stumbled her way to the front desk. "Your brother?" the nurse at the front desk asked. "Yes my brother, Hiro Tomoki. I got a call saying that he was here." she said. "Oh right. He's in the ICU right now. He's in critical condition so you can visit him for a while." the nurse smiled. "Thank you." she bowed and headed to the ICU with Zelo.

When they got to the ICU, Mikki's dad was there. "Daddy!" Mikki walked quickly towards him. "Sweetheart you're here." he kissed her head. "Oppa...hang in there." she leaned over and kissed his cheek. She went to stand by Zelo. She looked in her bag and saw the scripts for the new drama and gasped. "Zelo come now." she said as she pulled on his arm. "What is it noona?" he asked. She pulled out a script and gave it to him. "My dad gave me these. I just remembered them. Auditions are Friday, so we have like four days to learn them." she shyly smiled. "Cool! I wonder what the hyungs will say to this." he smiled brightly. She pulled him back to Hiro to see him. "You better get well fast or else oppa." she teased. "Chebal..."

Notes

ICU-An intensive care unit (ICU), also known as an intensive therapy unit or intensive treatment unit (ITU) or critical care unit (CCU), is a special department of a hospital or health care facility that provides intensive care medicine. Intensive care units cater to patients with the most severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries, which require constant, close invasive monitoring and support from specialist equipment and medication in order to ensure normal bodily functions. They are staffed by highly trained doctors and critical care nurses who specialise in caring for seriously ill patients. Common conditions that are treated within ICUs include trauma, multiple organ failure and sepsis.
Patients may be transferred directly to an intensive care unit from an emergency department if required, or from a ward if they rapidly deteriorate, or immediately after surgery if the surgery is very invasive and the patient is at high risk of complications.
